It's nice quiet cafe, very perfect for studying or doing your own work, service was good too, I liked the mango juice very much ,and enjoyed my own time happily~

Very historical place and brand. Clean, good food, but far from being an in-place at least not for breakfast. Place has great potential but requires a different mindset.

Nice restaurant and tasty food. I ordered "Garden Omlette" and it was made with perfectionism, ingredients were balanced and taste was like no other. Price is 45 L.E (add 12%service & 14%VAT). Definitely good experience!

I love this place...it always reminds me of the good old days...it still provides good quality variety of pastries & nice coffee.... the atmosphere is very nostalgic & elegant.... the staff is very friendly & helpful ..one can pay in cash or use debit cards..the prices are very affordable

I am ashamed that I have no adjective at hand to describe such a place, I am very disturbed to have witnessed such decadence, I am really shocked, I paid for a coffee that was any things but. I hadn't time to debate the issue with static brain individuals.

Amazing place in historical Cairo, cheerful memories, prestigious and historical restaurant&Cafe belong to the great group " Groppi ", I love it so much, recommend it

I had a hot apple cider, it was really good! Some of the staff seemed distant.

My favorite place. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. The prices are faire. The coffee there is awesome but I didn't like the dessert. Appropriate for study, reading, families and couples. ❤️

The place is very nice. You will enjoy the atmosphere. The staff are really friendly. Their desserts are awesome. Two downsides, smoking is allowed indoors and the restroom is not clean and needs renovation, however, these two downsides won't be the reasons I don't go again, because I definitely will go again.

The place quite crowded last time I went there. They have many beverages and desserts to enjoy. Suitable for hangout with friends and family. And they did rlly good service. But i dont recommend it for working place due to the crowds there :)

Lovely spot to retreat the Cairo chaos. I went to this cafe a few times for breakfast as my apartment was across the street. It was very quiet, the food was great value. Coffee was reasonable. I tried a few of the omelettes. The one pictured is a garden omelette. 👌🏼

The food was very good. Slow service. Smoking inside was not nice, there should be a separate section. Should be more clean.

Enjoyed every bite. Especially the Americaine ice cream 🤤🤤🤤

I just ordered a strawberry juice as a takeaway but the vibes there!!! OMG I loveeed it! It gives a classy vintage modern atmosphere ♡ But prices are quite high. Coming again for a real experience!

Classic atmosphere reminds me of old days 30 years ago, same place with smiling staff. Enjoyed it. Tea with cake was excellent. Allowing indoor smoking bothered me so much.

It surely brings a lot of memories, it is opened since the 40th i guess, but it can use a little restoration & renovation

You can feel the authenticity of this place They maintain quality and their standards throughout history You can taste the freshness of ingredients they are using

I do not advise anyone to go to this restaurant. The services are not good. The food is not fresh. Even the milk tea has an unusual taste. The waiter is not welcoming to patrons.

Relatively high prices for the quality of cakes I really didn't like it, if I made red velvet cake at home I will do much better than the one they had served me, the reason I gave this place 2 starts rate is that they force you to take a cake along side with the drink I ordered so I choose red velvet one wich was below average quality and not fresh too, they charged 30 L.E for the cake along with service and tax, they also wanted me to pay for that small bottle of water which I didn't drink. Parking really difficult to find.

The staff over there are thieves, they trying to hustling you when they know your a tourist. And charges you way more then the regular price. I paid €132 for a coffee and cake. Don't go there.

Big empty room like a Turkish coffeehouse, but with a big selection of coffees, other beverages and food. Maybe it was modern fifty years ago, but now strangely old-fashioned and worn-out. High prices for Egypt.

Tasty corrosion, delicious coffee and quite old authentic place which make it different, I feel that I’m in time machine to our old Cairo spirit ( just a hint of it which is more than enough for me ) I can set for hours and lose track of time and that a good sign If you near by you have to try it even once

The entire feel of the place is definitely outdated, once you take a step inside you feel like you've been taken back to the 1970s, with the decor and cigarette smoke in the air. But frankly everything in that part of Cairo is like that. Otherwise, the food and coffee there is inexpensive and does the job. As an American who was studying in Cairo at the time, this place became a regular destination for a quick simple somewhat American-style breakfast/lunch.
