This evaluation is actually for the roof top not for the hotel itself. The cafe located on the rooftop of the place is quite awesome. the price is affordable. and the sight is very good. you can have a very good Nile view from there. there are many TV LCD where you can enjoy watching the matches there. food is normal there, however drinks are good. spending your night hangout in that place would make you really happy

Perfect for cafe only not the hotel itself

Al-Tunisi Hotel is one of the best hotels in which I stayed, from the first reception, Mr. Sameh, to the cleanliness of the rooms, to the cafeteria workers. Thank you all

The staff is welcoming and it’s roof has a cool view. However, the rooms are overpriced compared to its readiness and cleanness. No towels, and the breakfast has no variety.

Only went to the rooftop Cafe on floor 18 not the hotel part. Enjoyed the view while having a beer and a Cappaccino. Polite staff and good service.

I stayed here for my last night in Cairo for the location. Really close to the metro that gets you around quickly and for little money. The hotel has a rooftop with amazing views of the city and you can even see the pyramids. It’s a popular bar with locals at night and gets very busy. The rooms are very basic but have a fridge and kettle. The place has seen much better days but the mattress was actually really comfortable and my linens/sheets and towels were spotless and of good quality. There’s no hairdryer but soap and shampoo. Hot water was readily available and the aircon worked perfectly. Hotel staff is very friendly but has limited English. The location and rooftop are major draw cards but the rooms are the bare minimum. Overall I didn’t mind staying for one night which served my purposes but it’s not where you want to base yourself for a longer stay. The neighbourhood felt safe even at night, the elevator has some issues but staff will be able to help.

The place became very bad, very loud music, non respectful clients and i saw kids and it supposed to be a Bar so it’s a shame to see kids at this place, they serving in plastic cups and they have only beers and spirit drinks. I don’t recommend it.

Stayed here for a week. Super friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned and serviced often, good accommodations, and very affordable. They even remembered a birthday at check in and baked a cake!

Overpriced. Needs severe renovation. Filthy carpets and chairs. Old broken furniture. The toilet seat was broken. Not all lamps are working. The lift is horrible. The only 2 Good things about this place is it's amazing view fruition the roof bar and its central location.

This review is for the roof cafe, not the hotel itself. The food was awful. The pizza was a slap of bread covered with a dry substance where cheese should have been. We also ordered a chicken pane and they literally got us a ready-made one of a cheap brand. The furniture is outdated and not maintained, the paint is peeled off of the tables and chairs. The view is good and the prices are moderate. This is a place best suited for a smoke or an alcoholic drink.

A great experience overall and the view from up there is wonderful, great music selection, drinks are good, calm atmosphere but prices are a bit expensive.
