Beginning of the season but many flowers and shrubs in full bloom. Only 4egp per person entrance. Basically a space for garden vendors to show what is available to purchase. A nice change from the museums

Well well this is more of a small park than a botanical garden. It is badly maintained and the small canals there are dirty. However, in the spring and starting of march, there is an awesome flower and plants fair that lasts like a month where you can buy flowers, plants, and gardening supplies from many vendors there. It’s super busy in weekends and recommended to go before 11am or during the week days.

Spring festival event is held there every year. A perfect destination for nature lover to enjoy a wide variety of ornamental plants and shop for garden supplies. I recommend that you check and ask about the prices from different suppliers before buying since there's a great price deviation for the same product.

A great garden that contains a group rare and old trees, but it is killed by negligence,it is revived by the fair made in march every year, needs a lot of cleaning care for the plants , needs some small elegant restaurants. After visiting it from 3 years ago, the situation is the same, the garden is beautiful with those old wooden bridges, and the lake in the middle, it only needs some restoration without destroying the old essence

Exotic, overgrown, elaborate a small piece of heaven. It's hard to describe what our senses perceive. walking during early summer days, under the shade, listening to the birds and the sound of nature especially early in Ramadan at holidays while every body is sleeping, is truly delightful. Go on and discover a piece that is lost by time, that no other garden has been well designed since the time of the monarchy.

It was my first time to visit this place and it was amazing, fresh air, rare and old trees and cheap tickets. If you looking for a good place to meditate or having a picnic I guess it will be a good choice.

You should visit it while flower exhibition/fair, starting from mid feb to end march. The place is incredibly amazing since you’re surrounded by beautiful plants and nature. But maybe government needs to add more projects or activities as child park at nasr city.

It is difficult to call it a batanic garden. More like an ordinary park with a pile of garbage that is not cleaned up. If there are any interesting plants there, they are hidden behind a fence. Entrance costs 10 pounds.

One of the most magnificent parks with alot of rare plants. It's considered one of the few places in the world with such diversity of plants in one place.

Few issues with the place. First time going a majority of the gardens were closed as it was the weekend. Which is fine. But it doesn't say that anywhere I could find. When I asked when the cactus garden would be opened, I was told "tomorrow" and upon returning the next day, it was still closed. One lady spoke to the grounds keeper who let us in, but it was clear he did not want us there and was following us as eventually just told us to leave. The other reviews talking about juice, animals, fruits and a market are way, or I went when absolutely nothing was happening. The garden itself is ok, but nothing special outside of having trees.

Orman Garden is one of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Cairo, and it is one of the largest botanical gardens in the world, with an area of 28 acres. It is a garden established during the reign of Khedive Ismail in 1875 AD. The garden includes many plants, including about 600 types of ancient plants and trees It is cultivated in a very beautiful and professional way, as it gives an amazing look to the garden. It also includes many beautiful water fountains, bridges and walking paths.

It's more like a park, than a Botanical garden. Plants and gardening equipment on sale. Tea Garden a bit rustic.
