My staying was nice, nothing special! I stayed just for 2 nights... My only comment is regarding most of the staff (not all of them) & mainly the receptionists. They are very fake, trying to show any care and concern just for the sake of tips (which I don't mind at all and was willing to but without feeling that I'm obligated to)... Even when I was paying for my car parking special rate while checking out, the receptionist didn't offer to give me the change and consider it as his own Rights. I know it's my duty to call for my rights but didn't want to ruin my vacation mood.

I will keep my review simple ~spoiler alert~ never again ~spoiler alert~ let me tell you why: 1)rooms are old 2)cleaning is naaah. same used greasy spoon standing on counter for 3 days, even though I asked for "change". I just counted days for fun. 3)gym has CARPET on the floor 4)if you want to have a breakfast and if you ask for tea or coffee to wrong guy, you can wait for 1/2 hour. that's why better to ask from multiple person. also, everyday same breakfast. 5) AND if you come here for business and if you want to check your e-mails or have online meeting, good luck with that because I had better internet connection back in 1995. I had to buy roaming data package. okay, positive things 1)close to airport (?) 2)housekeeping visits you in evening for refilling of water or tea etc.

I spent 5 nights with my family in a suite, they provided free bar as part of the package, basically nothing have been provided only water and soda (see photo attached). The rate is very high compared to the quality and service provided. I would have paid extra EGP 2 k and stayed in Four Season. The staff are polite and welcoming, however, some of them require significant training to deal with guests, they are not aware of the menu and the items they sell. Orders takes not less than 45 minutes to have your order. Quality of food is not bad. Hygiene and cleanliness requires more attention, rooms are not cleared properly, you can see dust everywhere. Hotel need significant renovation, you can see doors handles loose, broken. Pool area is good part of the hotel, also breakfast bar is also good. I heard from other friends that it use to be one of the best hotels in New Cairo 5 years back, but this is my first experience which was not really a good one.

We got 2 rooms for day use at a very exaggerated price, which we knew. What we didnt know is how poor the experience will be, pool staff was swimming in the pool while on duty, the pool bathroom was dirty every time we tried to use it, and the pool staff were starring at women in bathing suits making us uncomfortable. We reported this to the manager, who assured us that he will investigate and call us back, which he didnt. Really not recommended at all, save your money

Very Friendly staff, the lake pool is beautiful with the Palms around. Breakfast has good variety and quality. The room is spacious, you can connect your Android devices on the Flat screens ( no IOS connection which I didn’t like) The Club food and drinks menu is also good having a view on the main pool. To sum up it is a good place to switch off and relax. Good for families as i can see.

Not a 5 star hotel. This place wants to attract business clients, but with 1,6 Mbit/s they offer Internet from 2001. The staff is friendly and the rooms are good. However, you can see that they cut corners everywhere and if you pay that much money per night and the hotel says they are a 5 star hotel, they need to offer 5 star quality across the board. The gym seems like they bought used equipment and I found 2 major safety issues. On the pictures you can see that the counter-weight tower is not secured on one side - if you fall, that'll be a broken ankle. The safety arms on the long bar in the other tower are not tightened, if you can't hold the weight anymore, you may not be able to secure them and if it falls, you are waking up in the hospital. The music in the gym is super loud at times, the quality of the food was not good at all. EXCEPT TAO. Tao was good (their Asian restaurant). I complained about the Internet, someone came to plug my router in the room out and back in and said IT would call - they never did. As I see some complaints which are 6 months old, the owner is getting the money out of the place but not re-investing. I paid 25$ US for the breakfast and that was WAY TOO MUCH for what you get. I am at the Four Seasons where it costs 30$ US and it is a difference of day and night. You just feel a bit cheated given the price they ask and what they deliver. - Internet speed is not just slow, but not acceptable for 2022 - water pressure needs improvement - gym needs maintenance - food needs to be improved

Beautiful people, great food and tremendous service. From the Bellman to the Bartender, the staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Made my stay incredible. The Dusit Lounge is the spot to go to feel like Egyptian Royalty. Wonderfully displayed delicious local appetizers and sweets. The evening dinner menu made dining in way to easy.

My room suffered from 2 problems: Noisy aircon (clingy noise) and water collecting in the shower on the opposite side of the drain. The lake view was excellent. Service in some cases was excellent, but more frequently, it was bad. There are many people around to help but very few actually spoke English. The food is bad at best. Nothing tastes like anything really. Breakfast and Tao included... The gym is tiny but was sufficient for me. Could add a rowing machine, though. It was quite clean. The doorsmen and concierge refused to call a taxi when we needed one. They would only arrange a limousine. If I wanted a taxi, I could go to the street outside and search for one, they said. Very annoying. Also, housekeeping for my room were men, which would have been good to know beforehand, as I would have tucked away my sleepwear ...

Poor internet connection depending on the room location, a challenge if you have to work. The gym equipment has been improved but it still small and with a limited choice of equipment. On the positive side the very good Asian restaurant inside the hotel.

Very poor service compared to 5 star hotel. Hotel reception gave me a room at the back and a long walking distance from pool although I have a small kid and I asked to be near pool. My manager who was traveling with me at the same time who happens to be European single lady was given a direct pool access room and she wondered why they did that to her although she does not need it. This is very racist and typical behavior to give non Egyptians better service although we pay the same. I don't plan to come back although I was a very loyal customer. Many other issues (very unorganized breakfast buffet, room service fishing for tips to give you good service,...etc)

This was not my first time there. I have visited it many times for years, and every time I get more and more impressed by this astonishing hotel. They provide Chinese and Indian foods during breakfast. The pool is amazing. Decor is outstanding. I will never stop loving this resort ، all staff are very friendly and very helpful, thanks Mr hesham Abdalghafar, thank Mr mahmoued, yani .

This visit was a major disappointment. We struggled to get any service at all. Even the evening shift manager was basically useless when we complained. My guests were not hapoy at all, obviously was my fault for recommending the place. Shisha was terrible, even after changing it. Dessert was really bad, my guest had one bite.. That's it. Only 2 staff in the Terrance, although it was very busy. We Kuwait calling the attention of the waiter, who seemed to busy with some sort of invisible issues, possibly with invisible creatures *smile* I got the impression that the management didn't really care of you we had any issues, quality is not that important as long as we pay a little fortune for terrible service, mediocre food, and tasteless drinks. Probably the view was the only thing we enjoyed — will most likely give it a pass for a while.

Five stars luxury hotel in the center of New Cairo. It is mainly for business. Top quality at a high price. It has good restaurants, spa, massages, meeting rooms, etc.

A really great and luxurious hotel. It was a great experience to live in it. Friendly staff and people. Rooms are big, and hotel service is good. Uber/ Taxis drivers can pick you up easily. There is no traffic around the hotel. The only downside is that it is far from old neighbors and it takes time to get to most tourist destinations.

Loved the hotel, excellent staff, amazing service, they went out of their way make us feel comfortable. I had forgotten my cap in the room and one call and email. They gave it to my colleague who had stayed back. Then my colleague had forgotten his changer, and they kept it for him to collect it upon his return before flying out of Egypt. Only issue is, when they gave us the coffee in a take away cup, they had to be reminded severally to give the cup along with the holder as the cup was getting too hot to hold.... Rest the experience was simply excellent.

We were allocated a room in a separate annex. it did not meet Dusit standards in any way. Shower was not even warm. Finishing in the room was disastrous. Gardeners and workmen very noisy outside the room at 7am. Main hotel is ok, Tau restaurant is good. Staff are a mishmash of disinterested and momentarily helpful just to get a tip! All day dining staff need major training, you have to ask 3 times to get a coffee at breakfast. There must be many better hotels to stay in in Cairo.

We visited the hotel in September 2023 for 5 days with my boyfriend and had a wonderful time!! The employees in the hotel are all very cons and helpful! Special thanks to Mona from housekeeping she’s a wonderful lady who took care of our room for as long as we stayed there! The accommodations are amazing, breakfast and food in general was delicious and of course you must try both restaurants Tao and Ev they’re absolutely fantastic, everything about them..the atmosphere, the music the decoration!! Generally speaking an outstanding experience! Thank you Dusit Thani LakeView Cairo ❤️

Incredible atmosphere and best pool view room 2255. The district is one of the best in New Cairo with great modern city vibes that are much more relaxed, cleaner, greener, and less stressful than downtown old Cairo.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in in Cairo. Outstanding service from picking you from airport (Ibrahim) until chick out, Spacious rooms, very beautiful hotel (swimming pool, spa, bar, and lounge). Definitely coming back again thank you Dusit staff for an amazing stay.

The hotel is new and very well maintained. The ambience and service is absolutely first class. The food, especially the breakfast buffet, leaves nothing to be desired. Everything is prepared fresh and delicious. The culinary selection is very diverse thanks to several internal restaurants. I think it's particularly nice that you can find interesting, colorful and modern art everywhere in Dusit Thani. From my perspective, the hotel is unparalleled in the area. Don't expect too much from the surroundings in New Cairo. There are many shops nearby, but construction is going on everywhere.

Highly recommended to stay at this hotel. Regards, Jawaher

The worst service and the worst policy you can ever try. They force you to take book day use by paying for a room booking. And they don't consider that tourists don't go around without their passport .. so basically they got no basic sense of how to run tourism they just want to Robb your money to use the pool for 2 hours and make you look bad on the cashier. Hope they learn from dubai how to run hotels.

One of the best hotels in New Cairo without a doubt. The service is top notch but to be honest the prices are high. You could still get the same quality and better with lower prices. The best advantage the place have is the location. Being in the middle of New Cairo will make it easier and cheaper for you to move around.

Just wow, rooms, food and staff. The Valet Manager however, was outstanding. When he saw me getting tense over the non-arrival of my pre-booked airport transfer, he arranged for me to be transferred and picked up inside of 5 minutes. Phenomenal customer service

I stayed once in Dusit 5 years ago and my stay was perfect and luxurious: the housekeeping, breakfast and pool staff were great. This time I can sense a significant deterioration: I initially booked a patio room at the lake house, the view was nice but the bathroom door and something else in the bathroom needed fixing. The room also didn’t have light curtains, which meant that I either I am completely exposed while in the room or I shut down natural light. We called in-room dining to order lunch and as soon as I spoke Arabic the guy started talking to me like I’m ordering food from a restaurant in a popular area, addressing me with “ya basha “ Mohamed at the reception was really helpful and moved me to a regular room, which was really nice, but didn’t have the amenities for a double occupancy although my booking was double (same happened with my initial room). I had to call housekeeping to bring more towels and toiletries. The next day when housekeeping made the room, they didn’t take out the trash in the bathroom or the bedroom area, and they removed hand and face towels all together, so I needed to call again to bring them back and take the trash. Breakfast was average, both in the restaurant and in room service. Nothing close to what was available in my first visit. The room itself was really nice, and the spa still has its charm and worth every penny. There is a decline in service for sure and in the attitude of staff in general, so I wouldn’t go there again, but definitely visit the spa, and of course Tao the restaurant which is still keeping its quality.

My Favorite hotel in Cairo! One of the Best place for swimming. Dusit is perfect for chill out, relaxing. Even they have jaccuzi so it’s still perfect to come in cold weather-my favorite bit- if you like swimming there are pool access rooms which has a balcony right next to a pool so super convenient.

The hotel is built in the Thai style with a beautiful Asian view.. The service in all sections is average because it is devoid of the spirit of friendliness in dealing with the guest.. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable.. The upper floors overlook the rooftops of neighboring houses.. The food is not varied and without any connection to the Asian character, whether in breakfast or lunch, except for the presence of pineapple in the breakfast fruit.. My experience deserves to give four stars with compassion .. Noting that the lowest score is given to the reception staff.

Place is amazing, very lavish, looks great. The staff is nice. The only thing was that the food wasn't the best experience. It was Ramadan and group Iftar and all, still one would expect this establishment to be professional enough to keep the same quality in all occasions.

This is the second time they stop me while walking in with my husband. They have all the documents needed with our marriage certificate. I know they are doing their job, but when they have everything in their system they should be more professional to do their job better!!! Rather than making a scene and make me feel a certain way!

I asked for a special rate for 100 nights a year in Cairo. Did not get an answer till now - 3 reminders sent already. One told me that it is so difficult to make as I need to fix the dates first - I told them that this is no problem if the pricing changes (due to holiday season or other) but that they should propose something..... now its a month of waiting. so sad.

One of the best breakfast I've ever had, the pool is awesome, service is great but when you come to business making conferences or events there is some thing that bothers you the elevators for transporting to halls is very tiny.

I recently had a business trip to Cairo and stayed at the hotel for 8 days. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff very friendly. One gripe is the internet. It was barely useable. I was better off hot spotting to my personal phone. For business trips, it is important to have fast internet. I do want to make a comment on Room Service. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food. Chef Mina and Manal did a great job to ensure a pleasant in room dining experience.

The hotel is a tryhard wanna be classy rip off. The facilities are very poorly maintained. Parking is outrageously expensive and very difficult to navigate. The staff and security are rude and unprofessional. The meeting rooms are poorly equipped and unorganized. No signs as to where they are and how to get their. And it took me 20 minutes stuck in pumper to pumper traffic because of how the hotel is poorly equipped to handle cars

This was my first time staying at Dusit Thani Lakeview. The property is sprawling with many facilities and dining options. Rooms were in good condition and clean. Internet services wasn't great while I was there, so for business it wasn't that great, but for vacation it might not matter that much. Maybe it was a one time off while I was there.

Best massage around. Great facility. The pool is really nice. I had a lavender scrub too which was really nice. They give you great attention and the authentic Thai masseuse was very friendly. Some of the amenities didn’t work like the jacuzzi.

I have been staying there for the past 3 years . I just love this hotel everyone is so friendly and they go beyond fpr guests. I always felt home there and will keep going only there. To say one name is not fair but most of the staff has the same name Mohamed or Ahmed, from the check in time to the stay, cleaning, engineering staff, breakfast serving and check out literally all of them have been wonderful to me and I'm sure to the other guests too. The location of the hotel is convenient for me to go around, beautiful scenery by the pool and greeny. The quality of food is really good I love their buffet for lunch. Thanks all for making my stays always special. My home in Egypt
