During
his
speech,
Dr.
Mahmoud
El-Matini
praised
the
deep
and
historical
relations
between
Ain
Shams
University
and
JICA
in
various
sectors,
including
the
tripartite
training
program
that
aims
to
train
doctors
from
African
countries
within
Egyptian
facilities
such
as
Ain
Shams
University.
Dr.
Taj
El-Din
expressed
his
appreciation
for
Japan's
continuous
support
to
Egypt
in
the
health
sector
since
his
Excellency
was
Minister
of
Health
from
2002
to
2005
and
earlier,
during
which
Japan
provided
220
ambulances
to
Egypt.
His
Excellency
also
indicated
his
happiness
to
reside
in
Japan
during
his
studies
on
fiberoptic
bronchoscopes
at
the
University
of
Tokyo
Medical
School.
For
his
part,
Mr.

the
efforts
of
the
Egyptian
government
in
combating
the
