Mokattam Corniche is nothing but just a high ground that is situated within the city of Cairo. It offers a wide view of the city in the night life with all the lights, sparkling like a stars in the galaxy. It is absolutely one of the best views in Egypt, but I would recommend you go at night because that’s when you will see the lights clearly and also there is an entry fees for the area that is EGP 100 in this price, you will get free drinks and also sitting area but if you talk to them that you only want to see the view then they will reduce the prices so it’s definitely definitely one of the best place to spend your night with your friends or loved ones. Worth a visit.

It is considered a mountain near the city of Cairo. You can see the pyramids from the top and the weather at the top of the mountain is beautiful. You can order juice, coffee, tea or food from some restaurants located in the same place, and this place was where poets like Ahmed Shawky were previously, and they said in it Poetry.

Cairo city is visible from here, if you're lucky you might be able to see the great pyramids.

Best place to watch the sunset over Cairo. Beautiful sight with the pyramids and the whole city. There are places to sit down but usually you need to buy a drink to be allowed to use them. So best grab some food and some drinks. Enjoy a snack and an incredible sunset over Cairo.

wide parking area Place is not clean. Cold in October We took 2 Turkish coffee plus one tea. Total is 200 LE. Recommended for first visit. Don’t bring pet to this place This place is not save for kids to play only adults can come & keep their eye always on kids. Thursday- Saturday weekend it’s always crowded. I’ve been to panorama cafe.

Very nice view, makes you feel calm and relaxed with simple Egyptian vibes Before, it was extremely close makes you feel that you’re sitting in top of Egypt but Government removed all the places and cafes were there so it’s like local sitting in the floor and being served with hot and cold drinks Prices are moderate

You could buy a high floor flat, or you could hit this spot and witness the same beautiful scenery that overlooks Cairo, but from your car.

Very cozy and relaxing place to stay at. Overlooking busy streets of Cairo by being the highest point in all of Cairo. Fees are 75 EGP per person including one drink.

A public rocky land on the side of this slope overlooking west of Cairo, place is deemed dangerous with steep slopes and no existing safety or railings. Expect touts to approach you offering seats and drinks with an overcharge if you plan to sit and enjoy so keep looking to find suitable price (ranges L£50-30 at the time of the comment). Recommend enjoying the view as you drive by the road rather than getting out for safety concerns.

Seeing the sunrise and the sunset here is a must. The place is just wonderful in whatever season. In the winter, you can order Hummus from any nearby cafes and in the summer the fog won’t be as much and you’ll be able the city clearly. Either way, it’s a heartwarming experience every single time.

A place to relax and take a deep breath, the view from up there is amazing and from up there you can see Egypt’s beautiful landscape, the prices up there are a bit too much but worth the while you can stay up there with family and friends and have hot drinks or cold ones and listen to om kalthom and forget all the troubles of the world

The view is one of the best in Cairo. Prices of most cafe there are kinda reasonable. Only music wasn’t good, but it depends on the cafe.

Before going, you should know that the shape of the area has been completely changed, now you can go with your car and drink coffee and tea, after removing the special fence. The coffees are still popular, but they have become more exploitative, before entering any coffee you can agree with the owner of the place that all An individual for 20 pounds, which includes one drink and sitting in the designated places

Very good place, chill, good ambiance. Would definitely recommend to people who like places like this. I gotta say writing is an art and this is just practice. May everyone enjoy shopping there and come back with good memories. Nice staff, nice weather.

At the time of this review, the place is under construction. One still can get a clear view over Cairo though. The cafe owners are quite annoying and keep bothering you to sit down without a clear pricing.

The view was spectacular, the seating area could be improved, didn't like the hassle of sellers offering overpriced flowers and toys. Some times the music was so loud. Overall the potential is there. Bring your own food . There is a cover charge 40 pounds.
