located
in
the
Ramses
area
at
the
intersection
of
Al-Gomhouria
Street
and
Clot
Bey
Street
in
the
city
of
Cairo,
Egypt.[1]
It
was
built
in
1867
AD
-
1286
AH,
by
Mrs.
Zaiba
Khadija
Qadin
as
a
donation
for
the
soul
of
her
son,
Prince
Muhammad
Ali
Al-Saghir,
son
of
Muhammad
Ali
Pasha.[2
The
sabil
is
a
semi-circular
building
filled
with
marble
and
copper
engravings
and
plaques.
It
includes
a
wooden
balcony
with
three
windows.
The
facade
ends
with
a
row
of
portable
balconies
in
the
shape
of
leaves
and
pentagons.
On
both
sides
of
the
windows
there
are
two
panels
of
local
plaster
with
floral
and
geometric
decorations.
On
their
left
are
eight
poetic
verses,
and
on
their
left.
A
founding
plaque
with
Turkish
inscriptions
of
eight
lines,
where
Muhammad’s
mother
engraved
his
name
on
this
plaque
in
gratitude
for
his
righteousness
and
benevolence,
hoping
that
she
would
enjoy
with
him
the
prayers
of
goodness
and
abundant
reward
from
God
Almighty.
The
path
included
many
wells
with
pure
water,
which
was
poured
into
copper
cups
and
served
to
passers-by.
Horses
were
also
lined
up
on
the
sides
of
the
path
and
drinking
water
was
provided
to
