A world's figure statues theme park where you can sit and enjoy sun ray in wooden benches, on the grass, or open air cafetaria's tables. Authority please keep stray dogs to make visitors safe and area cleaner.

A nice green spot in the hart of Cairo, near to everything, very near to the river nile, close to downtown, across the bridge from the famous Tahrir square, like most of Cairo’s parks it have administration ticket for 10 pound you might need a camera ticket for 50 pound, you don’t need camera ticket to take photos by your cell phone, it have a cafeteria with reasonable prices, not a big park but clean small one.

Little piece of calm and greenery to escape to, among the calamity of the concrete jungle. It cost me LE10 to enter but it was fun walking around amongst the bronze busts of various world leaders. I visited as part of my morning walk and only a few visitors inside. I am unsure if that was because of the entry fee or because too early for visitors. Had a great chat on the way out with the guards who were trying to feed me home made stuffed cabbage leaves. Will be back again.

(Translated by Google) On one of the banks of the Nile River in the Gezira region in central Cairo, the breezes of the fresh air caress the branches of the trees swaying gently, while the rays of the sun from the sky penetrate the heart of the garden, spreading it the color of gold. And in the midst of this natural painting, statues of thought symbols and advocates of independence in Egypt and the world stand, as if they were calmly contemplating what is happening around them. The history of the Freedom Park began with the urban renaissance of Cairo during the reign of Khedive Ismail, who wanted to turn the capital into a piece of Europe, and find an outlet for the city, so he began to establish public parks and supplied them with durable and rare trees, including the Freedom Park that he established in 1876, and was known at the time as the Nile Park In 2001 the park was renovated and reopened.

Nice for picnics, ticket is 10EGP, cafe staff will try to pressure you to buy something (you don't have to if your just sitting on the grass, don't fall for it) and security is extremely annoying when it comes to couples and PDA.

The place is so good. Easy to reach it as it's at Zamalek but far from the busy streets and traffic. You can access it easily by metro "Opera Station" and It near a lot of the attractions in Downtown. It's recommended for group of friends, families or even individuals for chilling out and enjoying the green field at this busy city✨

Serene, calm, Beautiful botanical gardens. Surrounded by crazy, manic, traffic filled Cairo road madness. Take a taxi to this location. Then you will feel/live/endure the 2 extremes. Missed those uninsurable taxi rides.

Bad experience, we were harassed by locals, they were asking for money for no reason. A child deliberately came to inappropriately touch me with his parents approbation. Definitely not safe for women, unadvised for foreigners.

A pretty nice park. Entrance fee was 20 pounds when I went in Jan 2024. Lots of space for sitting on the grass, some benches. There’s also a cafe to order drinks etc. Full of statues of important figures in the fight for freedom.

Al Horreya Garden is a peaceful garden that offers a much-needed break from the city's hustle and bustle. With its well-maintained greenery and pleasant paths, this garden provides a serene escape where you can reconnect with nature. The garden features various seating areas where you can find a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It's a perfect place for a leisurely stroll or a simple picnic amidst the natural beauty. However, it's important to note that the garden can sometimes get crowded, especially on Fridays. So, it's advisable to plan your visit accordingly. However, it's important to be aware that the garden tends to be crowded, especially on Fridays. Consider planning your visit accordingly to avoid peak hours. While the garden itself offers a serene experience, it's worth noting that the bathroom facilities leave much to be desired. The cleanliness and maintenance of the restrooms are below par, which can be disappointing. It's advisable to plan your visit with restroom alternatives in mind. To summarize, Al Horreya Garden provides a peaceful haven amidst nature's beauty. Take the time to enjoy its tranquility, but do keep in mind the potential crowds, especially on Fridays. Additionally, make alternative arrangements for restroom facilities during your visit. Embrace the serene atmosphere and escape into the calmness of this hidden gem.

A nice place to be if you're downtown and need to see the color green. If you're seeking privacy and quietness, don't go on a Friday. It's also an open air sculpture art gallery of bust statues of famous Russian and Egyptian figures and Gandi. You can still hear the traffic and noises outside the garden, but if you put on your headphones, it will all go away.

It's a must to visit, moreover it's cheap, only 20 L.E. to enter. Lots of greenery, family scenes and busts of famous people. Among them you, maybe, find some of your compatriots. Anyway, to rest in shadow of a big tree is chilling experience at hot Cairo's noon.
