The food is amazing it's my first time and definitely not the last. If you're looking for a fine dining experience then this the place. You get to watch the food- making as well. Great atmosphere ( music was a bit loud) if adding Asian music to the place it will definitely make the place perfect. Great place and of course it is expensive 🫰 so fill your wallet before you come 😅

One of the best Asian cuisine restaurants in town. They have a variety of options from the different Asian cuisines including Chinese, Japanese and Indian. I would highly recommend sushi, dumplings or pecking duck for starters and beef noodles, butter chicken and/or beef teriyaki for the main. They do have interesting salads as well if you are into for starters. They also have a great variety of vegan dishes including their delicious vegetable teppanyaki and their dal makhni. I would skip desert though.

Very good restaurant and good Service. You can try different kind of Asian kitchen. On Friday they do have buffet at lunch time, better to reserve. My only complaint is about the air condition, it’s just toooo cold to really enjoy your dinner.

Chose to give this place a try after my massage and spa session. This was a good break from all the egyptian food that i was eating. Price is definitely more expensive. I paid basically NYC prices but the food was great and the service was amazing!

Had a proper fine dining experience! The place was spotless, with simple decorations and chilled out ambiance! The staff are all expats which makes the service impeccable. Menu is extensive and can be a bit overwhelming to choose from cause you feel you want to try everything ! They offer cuisines from 4 different countries; Thailand , India, China and Japan. Food arrived hot and at a reasonable time. Served in a giant dishes which gives the feeling that portions are tiny but the aren’t. I’d definitely recommend going there. It is pricey surely; but kinda expected . it’s a fine dining restaurant at a 5 stars hotel after all!

Some dishes are even more expensive like 500le. But i think it’s worth it! Very Nice hotel

We have been to Tao twice now and it never fails to impress. It's located inside Dusit Thani Lake view hotel. The menu is a mix of Chinese Thai Japanese and Indian. Which means u have 4 restaurants to choose from. We often go for the Chinese and Thai as the flavours are amazing and reminds us of out visits to China and Thailand. The atmosphere is really lovely. We ate out with our two children and were made to feel every welcome. They are culture appropriate and ensured we were not seated by the alcohol and were only offered non alcoholic drinks. The staff were well trained and knew the menu very well and were very professional. You wil enjoy all.the dishes but you will also pay handsomely. It's ot a cheap dinner but as an occasional dinner defintely worth the splurge Overall an amazing evening out with some real fine dining .

The place is very cool, we ate here twice. The second time the music was quite loud (that is a trend which I do not understand for restaurants these days - you're either a restaurant or a club, but not both). The food is suuuper fast and the mocktails delicious. It is a bit overpriced for Egypt in terms of alcohol but okay. The waitresses are very friendly and attentive.

How many times we had dinner on this restaurant and we like it so much, but it change our views yesterday when we had the bookings for 25-30 person then once we reach the restau at 10pm they said there was no bookings for us. Because as per the receptionist no one is answering on our room to confirm it, but i had the bookings via mobile number when i call, that's why we dont know how she calling our room not even thinking we are not there thats why no one is aswering. 😞😞😞 and all our boss are with us that time😞😞😞

Excellent food, limited options for vegetarian. The sad point is that all thier Thai curries are with shrimp base, so vegetarian can't enjoy. But my firends who had the non vegetarian food, went all ga ga and loved each and every dish. Their fusion cuisine is excellent to try.

A great welcome, my personal fav. Great thai cuisine, I recommend the green chichen curry and the beef massaman medium spice dish, served with rice. You will feel taken care off and indulged. Avoid the prawn dish, since they only serve 3 medium prawns per dish.Costs around 1000- 1400 l.e for two people including drinks. An extra tip for drinkers ask to be served the sangria punch with any red wine you choose! It is of no added cost if you do not add an extra shot of vodka, but it will set the mood instantly.

I luv asian food and going to TAO is like going to 3 places in 1 with menu covering Chinese, Japanese and Indian with chefs recommendations in each section. All the dishes are actually good my recommendation would be try to visit the 3 countries during the meal choosing. Dishes from all sections :) And make sure u end it up with the green tea Burlee magnificent! Ruen Thai which is also located at Dusit Hotel but this one is Thai only and I would strongly recommend as well

I usually take my wife for our annerversary here. Its nice that there are resturants surving the COVID. It still not crowded on the week ends. They surve Asian food from 3 cuisines (Chineese, Japaneese and Indian). The recepies are delicious and the chefs are experts. It one if the most luxorios places to dine in New Cairo. It is an expensive resturant for class A segment.

Disappointed as usual from Indian chefs in Egypt, they spoil the Indian cuisine by making it as per the locals taste.

Love this place!! Finally some real Asian food that's actually authentic and tasty. Cocktails are scrumptious. Great atmosphere. My favourite restaurant in Cairo by far. Service at this place is impeccable. Their staff are my favourite in the world, so kind, polite and know what they're doing and so professional. They cater to your every need. I have to mention our waiters/servers Roshika and Grace. They were amazing, filled with smiles and so professional at their job. They go all the way to make your day, which they definitely did. And to complete it, chef Ta is amazing. He was our chef for Chinese food and let me tell you, it's the best Chinese I had in Cairo for sure. Can't recommend it enough. This place with its staff and chefs makes the whole atmosphere and ambience the best in the whole of Egypt. Thank you Roshika, Grace and Chef Ta again for your amazing attentiveness.
