Authentic experience of Cairo downtown with Greek flavor. Waiting time is too long, staff is a bit strange…. The place is full of regulars so if you are not with one you will struggle for service. Food as tapas and overall vibe are very nice. Overall I would go again but after a while..

Been coming to the Greek Club for years and gradually seen it decline . The owners have become rude, arrogant and unsociable and waiters seem to be doing their best to keep the place going but with attitudes to customers like own have its only going one way .Avoid this place now. Each of us had to pay separately, entry fee, cover fees, drinks and on top a mandatory small minimum charge for food where drinks are not included. The place was really good but on our latest visit the bar has gone a bit down hill. It’s a shame!

The food was ok. The service is really bad. It took 20 min to get the check. And i told them 3 times. To get the change took us 10 more min. Food was delivered in a very diffrent way. We was trying to order more drinks but no one took our order. We got the main course before the starter. Bad experience.

Fantastic hidden spot in Downtown Cairo. You can feel the history and nostalgia here. Greek salads were yummy and it has a great vibe for having some Stellas and hanging out. Calamari was a bit tough but I still really enjoyed coming here. A special place.

From downstairs,It might look like you are going to an apartment but it's very nice and vibes are amazing There is entry fee 20 LE per person. And minimum of 30 per person for food They serve food, drinks and hard drinks. Food is limited choice, we ordered appetizers were nice.. Hard drink is 65 L.E. i guess per bottle which is fair.. staff is friendly and vibes amazing. The only downside for me is they only accept cash . And they don't accept entry after 11.30. i would to again

Fantastic place if you manage to find it. High safety with approximately 25 police soldiers. Stop at the 1st floor, the other floors are very cringe. For starters, we ordered tofu salad. Main dish was spaghetti bolognese. And dessert was cheese cake… all in all authentic fresh Greek food! Kalimera

The best place to spend great time with friends in privacy and being surrounded with lovely ppl🤍 For the food, The Bolognese pasta and Caesar salad are so nice. Note: no need to drink alcohol, they have many other drinks. The staff are so friendly as well🥰

The place has amazing vibes. The terrace is nice if you manage to find a free table. Best time to go is around 9pm specially on weekends in order to get a nicebplace outdoors. Too bad that the service is rather mediocre, they definitely need to double the number of waiters in order to cover the weekend rush.

Nice place but they added food onto our bill which we didn't have, apparently this is a minimum charge thing which they didn't tell us about. You also have to pay to get in, have a cover charge AND have mandatory service charge, so this feels like a scam

I dislike the new restriction of having a "food" minium charge per person. I wanted share a pizza with my friend along with the drinks and the waiter told me we would still need to order one more dish. We order a mix cheese platter, aand salads which were each alot more expensive than the minimum on food but when another friend joined us later, no one came to ask for his order and we were surprised at the end when the check came with an extra dummy item for my friend's food minimum charge. It is all particularly annoying because the food is good but not that great and alot of it ends up being wasted. I suggest changing it into a minimum charge per table.

Nice place, but high overprice / scam alert. 1. 20EGP entrance fee 2. Minimum mandatory 30EGP of food / person (even if you just want drinks because "it's a restaurant" 😂) 3. Additional 10EGP "service" / person 4. Additional usual taxes largely "rounded" with no detail on a small piece of paper ; you might get surprised if you calculate yourself based on the menu prices. 5. Stella price is 60EGP [basically, if you go there to get one Stella, it will cost you 120EGP] I would add that service is usually slow and that the quality of the dishes could disappoint any Greece lover. Now that you know, go and enjoy, it's a nice place to hangout with friends at night 😉

Food was not good and the quantity was small for the price. Tzaziki had only garlic taste. They have a cat that stays on the tables and it stole some sausages of my plate. They add taxes on everything. Not recommended.

This location is not for the restaurant/bar where you can have a drink. It's a cultural club .nothing in it. Don't put this location when you want to go to the restaurant. I lost 1 h looking for the right one. The restaurant is not in map. Instead put "groopi" it's right next to it

Great vibes! Food is below below average! So only order drinks and dips.. Service on the weekends is awful! Just be ready to ask for whatever for at least 4-5 times, just have patience 😎 Again, great vibes for a casual night out.

Lively place, nice prices and friendly staff. The food portions are good, but it's mainly a pub more than a restaurant. Few things to consider It could be crowded on the weekends, make sure u go early to find a good spot. If you dont like cats or get scared of them, I advice you sit in the indoors area. There is a ticket fee you pay for entrance.

Wrong location on google maps, hasn’t been updated in a while. Be ready to pay for an entrance fee (18£), taxes (12%), service fee (14%) and a per person fee (5£). Food is adequately priced and you get what you pay for. Cats are persistent, although the waiters did try to chase them away. Didn’t work. Service is mediocre.

Lovely ambiance and atmosphere, typical of a Greek taverna in Athens. If you like crowded and places full of effervescence, then fine! There's a modest entry fee for non members of LE 30 in addition to LE 100 for your carry along birthday cake. Cold beer and excellent appetizers Greek style, making your table tasty and satisfying... Chairs are very uncomfortable, ruining the entire experience. More expensive than the Greek Cultural Club in Heliopolis

Perfect place to spend an evening in downtown. The terrace is newly renovated and has a Greek flair to it. Staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. The food is delicious with Greek and some Egyptian meals. They serve alcohol. Entrance is a bit hidden, as there are no signs. You will find it when you take the stairs to the first floor.

The atmosphere is great. However, they take so long to take the order and even longer to serve it, but to be fair, I only go on the weekends, so maybe the weekdays are different. Also, it's worth noting that they could be racist and homophobic

A nice place with 20£ entry fees, you can have a nice beer, a place for the remaining middle class society. food is nice, they serve good food, lebanese included :D , nice place to have a drink and mediterranean snacks :D Greeks keep this place up and running your community is great and we miss it, need it in egypt, keep going you rock

It has two very different atmospheric locations; one is to be among the crowd, and another calm place, the restaurant. I enjoyed the latter. The crew and the food was perfect. I recommend the place.

Interesting place, kind staff. Food mostly Egyptian, few dishes only were from Greek food. Was hot on the balcony, not enough fans for this area. Table service and cleanliness should be better. I also don't understand why i have to pay to enter a restaurant.

This is a hidden gem in the city centre. All the Greek staples + a great atmosphere. They have a cool terrace and cold beer. Unfortunately, they stop selling drinks at midnight, so make sure you get the beers you need on the last round. You can stay there until you finish.

Cozy place, perfect for hangouts Good place for tourists, foreigners and expats. Alcoholic beverages are availabe. However, there is a minimum charge for food and they charged me without prior notification although written in unclear way on the menu, that why i am down rating. Food is very good. For downtown it is okay, however, there are places outside downtown that is better in terms of prices versus service

They don’t serve Greek food except the greek salad. The food is OKAY but It’s more like an Egyptian restaurant with a greek theme. And recently they started to charge you a ticket to go inside the restaurant, yes you need to pay a ticket to eat inside. So you’ll pay the ticket, food, service fee, tax and tips. The service is very Egyptian, you’ll get ignored a lot by servers.

Fresh and good food, with kind attention from the waiter in the restaurant, and fair prices. As a suggestion, they should fix the location in google maps, since it is not accurate (although is near) and people could miss this nice place to eat and to have a good time.
