    A very beautiful and architecturally unique historical Islamic complex in the heart of Medieval Cairo. The Sultan Al-Ghuri Complex is a monumental Islamic religious and funerary complex built by Sultan Qansuh al-Ghuri between 1503 and 1505. The minaret of the mosque is very beautiful and unique in architecture, and the entire complex itself with the two beautiful buildings facing each other connected by a large ceiling and between them a bustling bazaar was just a very beautiful scene.

    A new visit to ELSultan Al-Ghuri mosque 🕌 the last monuments built in the Mamluk era, before the Ottoman entry into Egypt, the mosque was built in 910 AH, 1504 AD.

    So old and so important to preserve! This is, what we were looking for, even the minaret we could climb (possibly the only one in Oldtown), nothing fpr fancy people but historic important. The surrounding is a rare example of old turkish part of history in kairo
