I had wonderful walking exercise inside the Merryland park at Heliopolis area and enjoyed trees smell with a fresh breeze. The trees and palms are beautifully planted and the park is well constructed. There are seating areas, clean toilets and small sales points for snacks, water, hot and cold beverages. Last Friday there was big live concert for Egyptian bands. Entrance gate from street facing Supermarket. Access fees EGP 20 per person. Highly recommended to visit during weekdays to avoid crowds and enjoy the beautiful scenary of the park. 👌 👍

Merryland, after renovation, is divided into two parts. The first one from the main entrance has many restaurants & coffee shops as Andrea & Starbucks. In brief, magnifique is quiet, optimal for couples, and people like relaxing. Entry & car parking are free of charge. The second part is the parks area, is not free, and entrance from the side street in front of the royal house hyper market.

Recently manicured to look like every restaurants hub that's rapidly erected, in a mushroom fashion, around many spots in the city. This particular place used to be a spacious green heaven, yet man-built concrete-tiles style is the current trend for going out and having a bite/coffee in Cairo. There are few restaurants and coffee shops open now, Sep. 2022, and likely there will be many more eating places to start serving in few months time. There's also a big dancing-water fountain occupying the whole area of the original lake that used to be home for different bird species.

I want to thank Andrea’ director for his adorable welcome, all the staff for their hard work and their patience, the Chef for the mouthwatering dishes he ve enjoyed with the family of 10 adults on April 16th. Although the restaurant was extremely crowded we had our succulent meals on time, he have tried the full boneless chicken, fried kafta, chicken cream soup & itvwas great. The grilled kafta wasn’t professional but acceptable .We wish to Andrea all the best ! We recommend it for sure, the panorama is amazing awa the vib & the service👍 photos of empty plates is a proof of tasty food😂

Not bad. I went on a Saturday and it was very very crowded. Especially since there was a bazaar. It had a lot of paid games for kids and you can rent a bicycle for 30 egp/30 min . Entry was 20 egp for adult, 10 for senior citizen and my toddler was free.
