It is a very modest hotel with only your basic needs. Don't expect a 5- star treatment. Janitors and bellman staff are okay, but their English is really poor which makes it very difficult to communicate. The chief manager for the reception, Ezzat, is quite rude, pushy, and honestly very annoying for no clear reason.

Terrible stay - the worst experience I have ever been through. I stayed in many hotels. The management and customer service is the worst ever.

Very bad conditions, not well managed they treat customers according to the amount of tips payed to every single person in the hotel and according to the country you come from and females are not taken seriously. If once they need the room to a new customer who will pay more they will do anything to disturb you and if you complain the answer is shift to a new room which is of lower standard and with same cost. I booked a room with Nile view and payed the cost they asked for and once I settled in the room I found that 70% of TV channels not working the air condition stops at night and when I complained it totally stopped, room telephone not working bathroom in bad conditions, room cleaning is very bad and the working staff ignore your complains. I will never go there again.

The hotel is OK for the price compared to other options in the same price range ..free breakfast is ok..the rooms do need work ..very loud and very noisy staff and guests around the clock..very old building..had some updates but there is always something that is not working..they disconnect TV and fridge ..until u connect them..which id a pain..wifi is ok..views are pointless..good location close to many points of interest..but old dirty neighborhood..all in all they try and have good service ..u get what u pay for..

A nice clean and affordable hotel in Giza Egypt. Apart from the entrance that is dusty and a bit old looking, the inside is clean and comfortable. Good meal, though a little bit expensive, clean and comfortable rooms, good staff and receptionist, nice safe lift, clean toilets, clean sheets and towels. You might have a little bit problems with Uber taxi locating the Hotel if you don’t put in the street address, because there is another hotel with same name in the area. A good place to have fun.

Noisy, poor/no sound isolation from the hallway. The shower water was only hot, no cold water for more than few seconds. The only positive about the breakfast was that they can make you an omelet. The restaurant in the hotel sells drinks (water and so on) and the mixed grill plate was tasty and enough food for two people.

The place is ok, central and safe. The staff is great and there's hot water. However, the beds are often very hard, the AC is not working and the WiFi is terrible, it only connects on small areas of the room and lobi. The view is ok but it can get noisy at night. The showers don't drain properly.

Stayed here as part of an Intrepid trip. Rooms and hotel in general was basic but clean. Buffet breakfast consisted mostly of eggs and various breads that is common in a lot of hotels in this price range in Egypt. The adjacent coffee shop/ restaurant was nice. Staff were friendly with varying levels of English spoken. Location is ok with supermarkets and ATMs within walking distance

This place is good value for money. The hotel is in decent shape and clean by Cairo standards. The rooms are basic, but have good air-conditioning. My room had a balcony with a view of the Nile. Decent location in a relatively quiet area with quick access to banking and shopping. The hotel restaurant offers a combo of traditional Egyptian and Western cuisines, and the service is generally good.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever visited, no way consider a clean hotel or professional staff nor management, the food it was dangerous to anyone even animals, I literally don't recommend this hotel for anyone even to my enemy.

Really basic. Rooms bedding and design is outdated, styled based on the 90s. Has an aircon that works well to manage heat. And has a great onsite restaurant with tasty food and good service. The hotel is located a short walk from the Nile.. If you don't have high expectations and are on a budget then it's a good option.

Rooms are small but clean and well maintained. Breakfast is very limited but restaurant has a great view. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall a good -non luxurious- experience.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful and it was so much appreciated. The hotel itself is good and of an acceptable three star standard. But really they couldn’t have assisted more in liaising with Air France re luggage. Thank you

Good value for the price. The rooms are not very modern but well enough equipped. The breakfast is good for this price class. The Egyptian Museum is in a walking distance if you're good on foot.

We stayed in this hotel during 3 years from October till June every month by group of several rooms. And till November int was successfully. In the end of November we was accommodated in very old and dirty rooms on 9th floor. Rooms full of black hair in bathrooms and on the pillows, dust on surfaces, not cleaned floor. After several discussions they changed rooms for us. We decided to give hotel one more chave and came again. Now we are accomodated in the same dirty rooms with hair, dust, water lickage in toilet, no Wifi in the rooms and without balcony. While I'm smocking and need balcony, coz I can't smoke inside my room while there is my daughter - teenager. Reception promised to change the room at 11 am. At 11 am they said room will be changed at 2 pm. At 2 pm I heard sorry there is no availability. And no one care that it's abnormal to stay in room with such problems, to walk to smoke to public coridor... Even plumber didn't come to fix lickage, I don't even talk that someone reclean the room and change pillow cases or wash the floor... Pharaoh's hotel lost any professionalism, any knowledges about guest treatment and hospitality specially to regular clients. Is clean room with balcony too much what I ask??? Fully disappointed, never again.

I had a great 3 week stay here. Loved the location.. safe neighborhood and staff were helpful and friendly. Basic rooms but spacious and I paid extra for the balcony with the Nile river view.

Room was clean and had basic amenities. Breakfast was average and the staff were at times helpful. Great value for those that just need a room without any extras. Would bother with the room service based on the breakfast spread.. book direct as well, this hotel is much cheaper without agents
