Nice cozy place. Went for a symphony orchestra performance and it was top notch. Service is excellent and so was the quality of the music. Absolutely loved it. Too bad some of the audience were glued to their phones even in the middle of such wonderful music.

I am an active patron of the San Diego Symphony. And I have to admit that the musicians were exceedingly skilled, possibly some of the best cello and viola players that I've ever seen. Just fantastic. A must visit if in Cairo.

Beautiful Opera house. My second time at the ballet, but first viewing of the Cairo Opera Ballet Company. I loved the atmosphere! The seats are okay.

A very ancient and elegant place that captures the mind from the first moment. The halls are a little narrow, but the whole atmosphere is very nice. There is a museum inside, a very nice place for photography, and in the background of the Cairo Tower. I attended Omar Khairat’s concert, and he was very simple.

I never felt that feelings before, it was relaxing and interesting time spending it in opera listing to music there, the team of music.. all work together on one body to give beautiful shape

We were in Cairo and heard about the concerts there and bought tickets on a whim. Even though the music wasn't something I particularly loved, it was really fun to hear something new and be out among the Cairenes. Fun to participate in an evening out with everyone dressed up. A beautiful way to spend the evening.

Home of quality music and decent musicians and singers. A place that brings serenity and joy with every piece you listen to, besides the eye-pleasing architecture and interior design. I hold so much respect and love to it. Summer nights are cheerful with the open air stage concerts. Went to Nesma Abd ElAziz's concert and had the best musical vibe for the year.

There are many potentials here. They have all the instruments tutorials but most of them for kids. Not best place for grown ups but still.

Best most elegant artistic ballet and orchestral musicals, very respectful, always on time , formal dress code is recommended, cosmopolitan atmosphere. It is the best meditation when you feel like you need it.

In General it was a very nice evening , enjoyed the performance of the ballerinas , the atmosphere was great and vivid , the opera theater is huge and very well equipped . It was very spacious inside , there was a little cafeteria outside serving coffee water and snacks . The parking was huge and it’s 5 min walking distance from the grand theater .. We have enjoyed the party and the atmosphere . Toilets were clean and everyone was helpful , the staff was very hospital and made it easy for us to reach out chairs and when we asked them to move from our places as we couldn’t see from lodge they did helped us and that was very kind .

Cairo opera house is a definate go to/must see, if you are into opera, classical music or ballet or just beautiful architecture. The complex also houses a music library and modern artd museum too. When I went there was a recital performed by the famous mr Mohamed Shams and a violinist. They recited a marvellous set of diverse pieces that were all breathtakingly beautiful

A beautiful establishment with lots of concerts and productions for lovers of art and music. However the building itself needs some TLC. The bathrooms need renovation and the furniture is outdated. There are some amazing works of arts such as those by the late Gazbia Sirry but there are some that need to be replaced. Went to see the Nutcracker ballet and it was great. Visited the museum too and it was interesting to see some old costumes and memorabilia.

Indeed very classy place with splendid service from it's employees. It shows really great performance at almost every day with variety of the show. But, the visitors is obligated to adhere the dress ethics apply there

Beautiful building in the centre. We did not have time to see any events but we're told it's great on the inside as well. Will recommend if you are interested in operas or similar events.

Good screening options at Main Hall & Open-air Theatre. Always love to attend CIFF movies, seminars and workshops there.

Everything in there is beautiful and amazing,, the landscape/the staff/the atmosphere etc.

Always beautiful. The concerts are so good. Also, there are 2 musuems, which are having awesome exhibitions with Egyptian cultures. I definitely to recommend it to pass by if you're walking in Zamalek or even Downtown.

Overall experience is somewhat not satisfactory. Crowd organization's information and directions are mostly unavailable. Seats and leg space are painstakingly uncomfortable. The main theater is relatively small for an opera house, including stage and amphitheater arrangement. Sound system is not sophisticated to match opera and ballet shows. I watched a ballet without live orchestra, and orchestra space is already taken for guests seats. Stage floor is undecorated with some ugly marks/spots on it. I would not recommend attending a non-local show in this opera house.

I would provide visitors will a map indicating directions to all buildings, other than that it was a really nice experience

Great classic music You can buy tickets on Opera house website Arrive 15 to 20 minutes earlier because parking always takes time, better to by taxi or public transport and take a nice walk

Went for Tango performance. Loved the music and the vibes. There were parking spots inside the opera gate.

Best opera experience worth going and experiencing the opera. So professional and amazing orchestra.
