This was one of our best organised tours ever so far in q foreign land. We travelled as a group of 7 family and frienda to the pharaoh land of Egypt. It was 13 day trip with Nile Cruise includes. Full credit to Magic Carpet for making the whole trip a lifetime memorable one for the group. It was meticulously planned and executed. Cars provided were best , drivers were professional and always smiling. Guides were knowledgeable and tolerant with all kinds of queries we had. It was fun and exciting all through. My wife and I did two private extended half-day tours with guide Raina and driver Ahmed Rombu. Car was one of the most comfortable of our trip, and both were very accommodating of my wife’s condition. We did Medinat Habu, Deir al Medina, Nobles Tombs and Howard Carter house on day 1, and saved Hatshepsut and KV for day 2, which worked perfectly and built up to KV well. Raina was very informative, flexible and knew her stuff. Easy to book via email, Shaimaa the agent answered all of my questions, and offered very reasonable pricing for private tours. Would not hesitate to book again in any future trip to Luxor!

My partner and I had a wonderful day with our guide Rania and driver Allah! We had originally booked a Highlights of Luxor Tour but wanted more time at the West Bank sites, so Rania kindly adapted our itinerary so we could take our time and explore. Rania is extremely knowledgeable and her stories both informative and engaging! She made the history come to life! I highly recommend booking a tour with Rania and Allah.

I traveled with my wife for two weeks in Egypt. During that time we visited Luxor and Cairo as well. Since the point when we contacted Magic Carpet Travel everything went smooth including several transfers and 2-2 day trips in Luxor and Cairo. In Luxor we were guided by Mr Hesham and by Nurin in Cairo. They are really kind and amazing people and we have learned a lot from them about Egypt :). Aladdin, the head of Magic Carpet in Cairo, arranged a 4-day trip for us, starting from Cairo to Aswan, Luxor, and ending in Hurghada. He organized everything in just one hour in the midnight. He pay attention to every detail, and was very supportive and friendly throughout the process. Meeting him during our Egypt trip was our first luck. Our tour guide for the 4 days was Hesham, who has deep knowledge of ancient Egyptian history. He is highly professional and his passion for his work is evident in his eyes. Moreover, he is the most polite man we meet in Egypt, making Hesham our second luck. Finally, our car was very comfortable, and we had the flexibility to make minor changes to our program. Our driver, Ahmed Samara, was always on time and very friendly. I highly recommend Magic Carpet for those searching for an Egypt trip. Thanks for every detail :)

Excellent tour with Rabi to the tombs of the Valley of the Kings, as well as Hatshepsut’s temple. Rabi is very knowledgeable about all things ancient Egypt (he has a masters degree in it) and was born in Luxor. He explained everything to us very clearly (clearly enough for our 9 year old to understand) and answered all our questions. He even let us quiz him about ancient Egypt on the way home (just to make sure his degree was worthwhile!). He was also very good at tailoring the tour to take into account that we had a child with us (toilet breaks, etc). Overall, I’d highly recommend Rabi. (And Mohamed, our driver, was great too, and ensured our bags were well looked after in the car while we saw the sights).

Our experience was a must, arranged beautifully by Khelady of Nefertiti hotel. If you are to fully be able to appreciate the depth of soul and meaning in the ancient depictions and tombs you are looking at this tour is a must. It will provide you with all the information you need, not too much but all the exciting things to know. The guide, Rabie is wonderful, very professional, along with the driver Ahmed and speaks from the heart when telling you about ancient Egypt. Full dedication to his clients and you get free time to explore. Worth every single penny. 👌🏼

We had a tour to Luxor's West Bank, including the valley of the kings, Hatshepsut's memorial temple and the colossus of Memnos. We have been moving around in an air conditioned car from place to place while we were explained the history of Luxor. Mohamed, our very professional and friendly guide, gave us very precious tips and explanations on what to see and how to "survive" all the turists traps on our way :). Would have been way harder without. I warmly recommend it ❤️

My friends and I did a Cairo tour with Mohamed (Mo) where we visited the pyramids, saqqar, and the Egyptian museum. Let me start by saying WOW. Egypt is beautiful but the cherry on top was being able to learn about the history of the place. This was all thanks to Mo. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all the questions I had and I had A LOT. He was able to show us unique antiques and features that we would not know about without him. Not to mention, he was very friendly and easy to get along with. He definitely made our Cairo trip a lot better than it was! Since my friends and I are all in our mid twenties, it was nice to have a younger tour guide who you can relate to and make jokes with. I learned a lot from Mo and even though it was hot (42C) he kept a very positive attitude the whole time. I usually don’t like doing tours since I always feel rushed but this was at the perfect pace. If you want to have a good time in Cairo and learn from the beautiful history of Egypt then I highly recommend this tour especially with Mo!

In Cairo we had a private tour with Magic Carpet Travel. Our tour guide was Sohaila Fouad. . She was a passionate historian and a good tour guide. A strong independent young women. I would recommend her to you. She also helped us check in to our quirky hotel and did not leave us until we were ok.

They organised a 10 day Egypt tour for us extremely knowledgeable and helpful guides all throughout. Ahmed our guide at Cairo always made sure we had the tour at our own pace and also arranged special veg food for us as we had a few vegetarians among us. They were very flexible and accommodated a lot of our last minute requests and tweaked plans to make sure we had the best travel. We even had an emergency once and had to visit local hospitals and the guide Hany stayed with us till 3:30 am in the morning until everything was fine. One of the finest operators I have traveled with.

We had a great experience with Magic Carpet travel, they provided a 3 and a half day tour for us with everything planned out to our liking full adjustable. The tour guide was knowledgeable and she even spoke Spanish which was our preferred language. I have to note that these are honest very hospitable people, we dropped a silver bracelet in the van and they found it and gave it back to us. I would recommend this company without a doubt. An unrelated tip for anyone going to Luxor, get Egyptian pounds as we had an issue where we tried to pay with card at Nefertari's tomb and they declined our cards and still charged us 320 euros. At the time we thought the transaction had been declined and we paid the same amount in cash at a horrible exchange rate of course . This has nothing to do with Magic Carpet as they warned us it was better to pay with Egyptian pounds.

Our guide Hassan Abdel Baset was amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient with our questions. He also has a great sense of humor. We learned so much from him and enjoyed every moment of our visit to Egypt thanks to him. Our driver Mahmoud Abou Treyka helped to make our experience very easy and enjoyable as well. He was a very courteous driver and the vehicle was always very clean and smelled so wonderful! There were always cold waters waiting for us in the cooler and the air conditioner was heaven after a hot day of touring. Hassan and Mahmoud are a great duo to have with you if you are visiting Egypt.

I had such a wonderful experience touring Egypt with Magic Carpet Cairo branch. The Manager, Mohamed, was super helpful. I booked my tour last minute but he went out of his way to make my experience seamless. I did a day tour of Alexandria, The Egyptian Museum of Civilisation and Al- Azhar park. The drivers on all occasions were superb. My tour guide, Haggag, was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. He chose the best spots and the food was out of this World. Definitely made my Egyptian experience unforgettable. Highly Recommend.

Sherry our tour guide and Mahmoud our driver gave us 3 amazing days in Luxor and Aswan. They kept our family of 5 (from ages 8 to 75) engaged and interested in all the amazing sites, and truly became friends by the time we said goodbye. We highly recommend both of them!

We purchased two different tours with this tour operator - one day, it was the pyramids of Giza and another day - Cairo and the Egyptian Museum. Our guide both days was Theresa. The guide and the drivers were punctual and caring about our needs. Theresa shared a lot of information about the cites we visited and was patient with our kids. As a bonus, Theresa is a good photographer and took multiple photos of our family. All in all, it’s a great and reasonably priced option for those wanting to explore Cairo and its surroundings. Given the chaotic driving in Cairo, I highly recommend using Magic Carpet’s services to get the best out of your trip to this country!

Enjoyed our 2 days sightseeing with Mahmoud and our excellent driver. They contacted us before our arrival so we felt very much welcomed knowing that we would meet with them. They were on time each day, very attentive to our needs and Mahmouds explanations were interesting and entertaining. 'Meya meya' we had a lovely time and enjoyed our visits thanks to them.

We did not feel rushed at any point, and we learned a lot from him. Mr. Nabil gave us ample time to see everything and more, take photographs, absorb the sites at our own pace, and organize the tours based on what we wanted to see. He is a tour guide that we highly recommend! All the tour guides and drivers we worked with arrived on time (in fact, they came early and waited for us), and were very professional. Mr. Mohamed made the payment process a breeze and made sure it was efficiently done by waiting for us downstairs with everything ready to go. All the staff we met at Magic Carpet Travel did an excellent job, and it is a travel agency I highly recommend when booking tours anywhere in Egypt. They also run a restaurant in Luxor called the Al-Sahaby Lane Restaurant, which is in the same building as their office. The food is great, the ambience cozy, and the view of the Nile excellent, specially at sunset. If you sit near the edge, you also get a view of the busy street below with all the calèches vying for customers. Overall, we had a great time! My guide, Amr, was a wonderful guide who managed to make the history and story of the pharaohs come alive, going above and beyond to answer every question I might have. He also helped me manage local customs and expectations, and I felt extremely safe and secure while we travelled together. The tour was also very well organised, with professional and timely communication from Hazem, who helped me sort out all logistics and issues I might have. The overall enthusiasm and positivity of the team was wonderful, and I can only warmly recommend them to everyone travelling to Egypt.

Nefertiti Hotel in Luxor. Perfect holidays as usual. Fine food, friendly staff and properly clean. I especially enjoyed the trip to Esna and the one to the secret places of the West Bank.
