Great place that offers a variety of courses and its suitable for you if you are looking to take ilets exam. The place is clean and calm. The stuff are very helpful. It is quite costly but if you needed that ilets exam it will be good to consider that place especially if you are near that branch. The place offers computer based exam which your results can be available after 3-5 working days. Please note that my exam was in Tanta not Cairo but I received this link to review their service. Disappointed in the service. Mainly the speaking section. The speaking exam was through a video call and the examiner's mic quality was terrible in addition to the bad internet connection so there was lag and freezing during the call. Unfortunately, I didn't complain thinking that this will be kept in mind which was a mistake on my behalf. Another thing is the delay. My exam was at 9 am but we started at 10:30 am. Then the speaking section was delayed by 90 minutes. So overall the experience was not bad but there was a big delay and I think that the speaking section should be better than that. I also received a disappointing score in the speaking section unlike every other part. I would say that I have an excellent score in every section compared to speaking. I would advise you all to stay away from taking the exam in Tanta due to the disappointing service in the speaking section.

I took the exam there i got a good score, but I didn't like how tight the exam room was.

I took the IELTS exam a couple of times in IDP, and I scored a 7.5 in speaking once. Since I have taken the IELTS exam multiple times, I am familiar with the levels of 6.5, 7, and 7.5. However, the last time I took the test, the examiner was unfair. I spoke much better than her, yet she gave me a 6.5 in speaking. Consequently, I applied for a remark, which was quite expensive, costing me an arm and a leg, nearly half of the exam fee. Unfortunately, the result remained unchanged. The bottom line here seems to be all about materialism! There is no point in responding we apologize for the inconvenience and request you to contact us. This issue is not new. Good for you! IDP, you have a bad reputation for your examiners and I will not book my next test at IDP.

I had a very good experience. I worked with AMR Mahmoud, who was very accessible, patient and ready to help. He always followed up on my complaint and made sure it was resolved.

People at the reception are like robots. Didn't really like them, same feeling with WE or Vodafone or Etisalat bad customer service... However, the instructor doing the speaking test was great..

Both of my IELTS Academic tests were provided by IDP. The first one was paper-based and the second one was computer-based. Everything was well organized and the staff were very professional. The examination venues were quiet. The computer I used in the computer-based test was working smoothly.

Absolutely horrible experience. This place is supposed to be global! When I reserved my seat, I went and they told me that there were no places and that there was a glitch in the system, but there wasn’t .It was a problem from the coordinators themselves! The appointment was pushed back too late, and they made no exceptions, even though the problem was on their side. *This happened in IDP IELTS -Heliopolis

I had my exam on the 25th and 26th of November. I believe the best part of my experience was the 20-hour course with Dr. Yahya Gamal. It was rich and informative. However, I would like to express my distress regarding the speaking test on the 25th Nov. as my examiner, Mr. Rami, in the IDP Heliopolis branch gave me facial expression from the very beginning of the test. He showed expression of mocking, and sometimes disagreement on what I was saying. At the end of part 3 he asked me "Do you think that your friends would agree on what you are saying?" I believe that he should have been neutral from the beginning as he added much stress and anxiety through the test. Another distress I experienced during the test was on the next day 26th Nov in Hilton, Lily Hall. During the writing test, the timer on board stopped at "8 minutes." I heard one of the invigilators telling her colleague that the timer "froze", so I asked her how many minutes were left? She told me "2 minutes." Here, we all wondered how, and I personally was under more stress to write faster as we were busy writing and could not see that the timer froze. To us, it was "8 minutes" left. The head of the invigilators told us to move on writing and then after a few minutes she told us "Time is up. pencils down". This was totally unprofessional. The exam itself is stressful, therefore examiners and invigilators should not add more tension that definitely has its negative impact on our performance.

Great experience. All staff was helpful and all the procedures went smoothly. I highly recommend any IELTS candidate to consider Idp centers when he books the test.

I took the IELTS computer-based exam at this testing center. All I can say is that they have a friendly staff, excellent atmosphere, and quality equipment. Moreover, they provide a wide range of convenient test dates, and they released my results 3 days only after the exam.

The venue was clean and prepared with stationary. However, the staff seemed unprepared and we ended up starting our exam around am hour later than the designated time.

It was such a nice experience, except speaking correction, in my opinion, it was tough and unjustified. If I got the required scores for other sections, I would go for a remark in speaking section. But, unfortunately I didn't. I won't go for other IELTS tests in IDP in the future. And I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

It’s a rule that you go to the toilet during the time of the exam and not in between, my scores got affected by such an unintelligent rule and i don’t think that this is the objective of the exam to waste the time in the toilet .

It is impossible to reschedule a booking. They do not reply via email even though we got an automated reply saying they will 2 times. When we finally reached them by phone and filled in the required form and also got evidence from school for change of date, they also did not answer. There needs to be a clear online link for change of date instead of all this hassle.

An amazing place to guarantee a fascinating atmoshpere for your IELTS test . IDP members are so kind and polite, they are always helpful to candidates. They have so many facilities and everything is in order and under control. I achieved my target band score for IELTS, and I would like to thank IDP for that.

The staff out there were professional except for the oral examiner who was barely smiling. I had the test before and I really had quite good experience All in all, I got the score that I want anyway.

The headquarter in the fifths settlement is neat and the people there are professional As for the Heliopolis branch I can't say the same about the receptionist . he is very arrogant and have a lot of bad info and dealing with him was the worst thing while having the exam

Team was cooperative and friendly. Everything is punctual and customer service is always available through the phone and email. Center is clean, accessible and it was a great experience overall.

Overall the audio could be heard clearly and the examiner was super nice which made me calm down. I could tell that it was well organized!

NOTE TO PROSPECTIVE EXAMINEES **DO NOT BOOK IELTS ON FRIDAY** I had registered for the test on a specific day that worked best for me and I made sure to register early on when there were plenty of seats left on that day, when I got a call from IDP on the day preceding my pre-registered test day stating that there seems to be a problem with the system and I won't have any seat to be tested on the day I had chosen. They offered me an alternative of moving my test to either the preceding or following available day. I requested to accommodate that I'm gonna have to travel 2.5+ hours to reach the test center, so I need the speaking to be as close as possible to the actual exam. They said there was a slot available on Friday at 1 pm, with the speaking at 11 am. I inquired whether there are any mosques nearby which might be broadcasting Jumuaa prayer loudly, and the agent assured me that the noise is gonna be minimal as they keep the windows shut. He proposed postponing the exam further if I am concerned about this issue, but I was short on time and I needed to sit for the exam ASAP. So, I agreed to the Friday test. On the test day, I found a mosque microphone mounted exactly next the the balcony of the test room broadcasting the whole Jumuaa prayer (khutba + prayer) loudly. I couldn't even hear the instructions of the invigilator properly because of the loud voice outside. Khutba started simultaneously with the listening section, and continued through the reading one. I am surprised of the fact that no attention was given to how this can severely distract the performance of the examiners on a test that requires full concentration and time-management as the IELTS. Neither did they get an agreement in place with the mosque about that, nor did IDP fix noise-cancelling glass in the test room. Unfortunately, as expected, the noise obstructed my concentration and I eventually did not perform as I normally do when practicing. I am frustrated that after doing my best to prepare for such a significant test, this silly detail ruined it all. I was expecting better management of test registrations in the first place, and a closer consideration to testing conditions from IDP. Other than that, the staff and examiner were friendly and the office was nice and clean.

It was overall a good experience and workers there were so friendly, i will definitely recommend this experience to my friends.

Hi all i hope you guys are doing well i would like to inform you regarding IDP Education & IELTS Testing - Cairo which is location in Egypt the all team is very unprofessional. given my all documents one year before 28/05/2023 of ospap admission intake 2024 they kept my documents and telling me that we already apply for universities. I was waiting for them, and they even didn’t apply for admission and now they are telling me we can’t do anything so my Op will expire in this year and I didn’t get any admission in the universities so they are very unprofessional, unresponsible They are really wasting people times never ever trust them. I mentioned their names so be careful

Invigilators are not professional and friendly. Speaking examiner is tough and even the ambiance is stressful. I have taken ielts with British council before in UAE . It was amazing .
