I had an amazing experience doing my PADI Open Water course with Matthew and Sara! Matthew was a great teacher, very encouraging and patient. Since it was just the three of us, I got great one-on-one learning, and they both made me feel completely at ease (which was great as a solo traveler). The dive sites in Natewa Bay were stunning—beautiful coral (including their coral nurseries), crystal-clear water, and incredible marine life. I was lucky enough to see a baby grey reef shark, turtles, though the christmas tree worms were a personal favourite! All the gear was in great condition, and Matthew and Sara were super helpful with advice on what to bring for the conditions. Overall, a 10/10 experience—I’d highly recommend diving with them to anyone visiting the area!

Diving in Natewa Bay is magical. It has to be some of the best diving I have ever done, on the most pristine and healthy reefs with some incredible wildlife. I learnt so much more about the marine environment with Sara and Matthew, who are the most knowledgeable guides and are so professional and welcoming. They are so good spotting and sharing too, so you will never miss out on seeing the small things. It is so nice to dive with people who are relaxed and passionate, making every dive enjoyable. I couldn't recommend Ocean Ventures more highly and will definitely be back.

We had such an amazing and special experience with Ocean Ventures Fiji! My husband and I finished our PADI certification with Matthew, and I am so thankful that we did. Our options were to complete our open water dives in a Minnesota lake, or with Matthew and Sara, and I'm SO glad that we did the latter. I was nervous for the open water dives, but Matthew was an exceptional teacher and extremely patient. Not only did we get certified, but the dives were BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely stunning, and they made true fans of scuba diving out of us. Our photos just don't do it justice. We did four dives total in Nateway Bay on two days, and even though we were learning skills on the dives, we spent the other parts of the dives enjoying the view and exploring. Natewa Bay itself is stunning - I've never swam in such beautiful and glorious water. The coral is breathtaking, and Ocean Ventures Fiji knows where all the good spots are! Overall we are thankful for Matthew and Sara, and the whole Ocean Ventures Fiji experience. We even bought a couple extra packets of the cookies that they would feed us between dives and brought them home to Minnesota. Sara and Matthew provided by far the best snorkeling trip we've had in Fiji. They are both extremely knowledgeable and personable, joining us in the water to point out interesting sea life and make sure everyone had an excellent experience, including the children in our group. They are keen on both conservation and education, ensuring that Natewa Bay continues to preserve the healthy, vibrant and colourful coral that is home to an incredible array of fish and other sea life. I did my PADI open water course with Sara, Matthew and Vili in September and it was a completely fantastic week from beginning to end. I was nervous to learn to dive but Sara made me feel completely safe. Both Sara and Matthew are very calm, fun, extremely experienced and genuinely lovely people. They have got an amazing set up and some brilliant diving spots, we saw so many amazing reefs, fishes, nudibranch and a turtle. We got some great advice to take on our onwards trip diving in Taveuni and Coconut Island and I felt confident with the great foundational skills they gave me. I am so grateful to them for making it such a good experience and am stoked for the next dive trip. They were so generous to us over the week, highly highly recommend for new and experienced divers. This is the BEST snorkeling you'll do, but not being a great swimmer I was nervous of snorkeling for the first time. I needn't have worried, Sara and Matthew and Siliami took fantastic care of me and our small group. I saw a world I'd only seen on tv and never thought I would see - it was jaw-droppingly beautiful, such a privilege to witness! I loved it so much I went back again two days later. With no other environmental noise I could hear the fish communicating with little clicks and pings - simply incredible! Ocean Ventures Fiji provide fantastic snorkeling in Natewa Bay's pristine waters, have extraordinary marine knowledge and demonstrate great respect and care for the environment with their activities. Experienced snorkelers in both groups were stunned with what they say; one woman (40 years of snorkeling) said it was the best sites she'd ever snorkeled. A trip with Ocean Ventures Fiji is the smart way to experience the beauty of Fiji's oceans. Don't settle for overcrowded resort trips when you can be truly spoilt by this fantastic crew.

My wife Donna and I had two excellent dives in Natewa Bay with Ocean Ventures Fiji this week. Matthew and Sara were excellent hosts. The dives were wonderful with beautiful health hard corals.

We had an amazing time diving with Sara and Matthew. They’re so knowledgeable about the marine life in the area and take safety and conservation very seriously. It’s so enjoyable diving with such a high quality and competent dive shop.

Our group came away from this adventure with enthusiastic and happy feelings. Mathew & Sara are so accommodating and easy to be around. They led us over the reef with commentary and pointing out fun creatures and just the whole experience was special. A highlight of our cruise.

We really enjoyed diving with Sara, Matthew, and Seve and can only recommend Ocean Ventures. Netawa Bay is pristine and offers beautiful and healthy corals, as well as a lot of colourful small fish. We were lucky enough to see octopuses and turtles. We also profited from their knowledge of marine life (they also offer an online course), and the equipment is in excellent shape.

Communication was super uncomplicated and fast through whatsapp, the divesites were amazing with all these beautiful, colorful corals and fishes and Sara and Matthew were really passionate and shared interesting information. We went snorkelling with Sara, Matthew and Vili. They’re are very friendly and keen to provide a great experience. We, a family of four, went on their boat with another family. Small numbers and fairly new boat. Natewa Bay was amazing, my 7 and 2 year old children had a great time. Sara was great with my kids and Vili happily helped look after my 2 year old when she wanted to stay on the boat. We won’t hesitate to return and go snorkelling with them again. Mathew and Sara were an outstanding find for our diving in the Savusavu area of Fiji. They are the only operators in Natewa bay. The bay is huge, untouched reefs that offer amazing diversity of creatures. The colors are brilliant. Sara took her camera and gave us amazing memories that I could not have captured. These guys are our best diving experience in Fiji. We have done the resorts and enjoyed all our dives but the personalization and knowledge Sara and Mathew bring is unmatched. A must do adventure
