The nightlife is excellent and it is awesome seeing the beach at nighttime with all of the lights. The owners of the beach shacks and the other vendors around can be quite pushy with sales so I’d recommend asking the locals where the best place is to go or going with friends who know the area. Also be mindful of the water as we saw a sea snake just swimming along the beach front

The most tourist attraction... Quite popular and crowded The beach here gets closed at 6 pm for water rides and for swimming or going in the water. Morning 10 to 6 is the timing. Life gaurds also there... Beach is clean and nice. If you are a water lover you would love water sports.

One of the busiest beach in Goa and one of the famous one too. Very happening and lively place to visit. There are multiple water sports activities available here, just be careful on fares. Beach has plenty of eating and drinking options. The market near was also good. Parking is near by beach. Must enjoy and spend time here with friends and family.

    1. Very happening and lively place to visit. 2. It has energetic music all over from evening till late midnight... 3. Food is expensive on beach shacks but who bothers when you get such a rocking party ambiance... 4. Must enjoy and spend time here with friends and/or family... 5. You can enjoy mornings as well.. If you visit this beach early in the morning while or before sun rises.. you can enjoy the peaceful sea shore, winds.. 6. There are multiple water sports activities available, just be careful on fares part.... Initially they say any amount which is actually not, you will need to bargain for right amount. 7. In evening you can enjoy and experience playing in warm sea water along with waves and cool breeze.

Good for water sports, better to go on a weekday to avoid crowd. Has lots of shacks. Plan water activities around 4PM so that you can enjoy without getting Sun Fried ;)

Beach always gives the best experience as water belongs to nature and nobody else. On the other note, I would've given 5 ratings, if the maintenance of the beach was top notch. Can't blame tourism department alone but public/tourists as everyone are responsible to build the cleanest beach/city. Whom so ever reading this I would request you and your family to maintain cleanliness while you travel as tourists. Use Trash can rather throwing randomly here and there like a mindless individual🙏

This one is centrally placed when it comes to beaches in Goa, a nice one with some good food joints. I had an amazing time enjoying the evening sun set and good food also. There is no ticket for beaches as such only for food options..!!

A crowded beach with heavy inflow of tourists and has speed boats, paragliding and other facilities. Has coast guards on duty for the safety of the people bathing /swimming in the sea waters. The walkway to the beach is covered by several shops, selling garments, hats and other products of tourists' interest. There some eateries around and in the beach sands as well, with umbrellas and easy chairs to relax and have food and drinks. Sadly, the shores are strewn with bottle corks, caps, plastic waste, cigarette butts, thrown by Irresponsible visitors.

I recently visited Calangute beach and loved the vibe of Goa. The waves were really good and enjoyable. The best part was the crowd and liveliness of the place. The market near was also good, we could see many shops right from cloths, kaju to travel and adventure activities. Also not miss the wine shops. If you are in Goa this will be a must visit place from my side. Enjoy the beach and go out shopping if you would like.

One of the best beach to visit in Goa. Lot of fun and activities. Good shopping area selling souvenirs, beach wears, sleepers and restaurants available just near the beach. Parking charge is 50/- rupees for bike. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear to enjoy at this place. Hats are a must at day time . Good for photography lovers. Good restaurant offering all types of menu just near the beach. The rate seems to be high. Beach is neat and clean and tourists also well behaved. You can also enjoy adventurous water activities. Stay till sunset and enjoy the evening. Head Massage also available at your seat. Must visit places in Goa.

Calangute is a town in the North Goa district of the Indian state of Goa. It is famous for its beach, the largest in North Goa and a popular tourist destination. The peak tourist season is during Christmas and New Year, and during the summer in May. During the monsoon season, from June through September, the sea can be rough and swimming is prohibited. The beach offers water sport activities like parasailing and water skiing, among others.

One of the most happening Beach of Goa. Loud noice but only till 10PM. You will love the vibes at the beach and can enjoy your drinks with dinner at late night. If you wish to have the great time at Calangute Beach then you can go to your left after you come down after stairs as in your right side there will be a huge house and sound there. Enjoy your time. I hope these insights will help you improving something at your itinerary to visit the place.

Great beach vibes. The best time to visit is early morning 7am, when there won't be any crowd and the breeze would be sparkling! But, do not miss the night view at all. The best time to visit at night is 8-9pm when the shacks would be playing all the music and lights. The Beach and shacks are open all night but the night lights are turned off at around 11-12.

It is one of the oldest and most popular beaches of Goa. Though it remains very crowded, you can visit it at least once. You can enjoy sunrise and sunset here. I advise you to avoid visiting it on weekends. The sand is very soft and I loved walking here. In the night, the ambience becomes more enchanting due to the eye catching lighting and the loud music being played at the resorts.

Night life of Goa is awesome. Nice n clean beach. Bike should be park in parking area to avoid any damages to road. Have dedicated parking area near the entrance of beach

Explored one of North Goa's top beaches, and the constant crowd throughout the day is a testament to its popularity. The sunset is truly breathtaking, complemented by exciting water sports. For a better deal, opt for water sports packages from the parking area instead of the pricier options on the beach. Be cautious of additional charges; the rider might propose a longer distance for an extra ₹200. Additionally, a noteworthy convenience is the presence of a cost-effective washroom right beside the entry. This facility proves invaluable for changing and refreshing, adding to the overall positive experience at this bustling beach in North Goa. The beach comes alive in the evening, akin to the vibrant atmosphere at Baga beach. Despite minor considerations, it was a fantastic overall experience.

One of Best & Beautiful Beach of North Goa. Neat Clean and Nicely maintained Beach.Day as well as night life here is enjoyable. Water sports/ activities, ample of food huts/ restaurants, very well connected, adequate stay arrangements in its surroundings particularly Goa Tourism Hotel " Calangute Residency". Morning Beach Walk gives immense pleasure and Tea Samosa further adds to it. Government guard keeps a strict vigil and provide assistance to those tourist going in the sea and starts drowning, they keep on warning too.

Better than baga sea shore from numerous points of view , yet it's beginning to become busy here to many water sports are accessible during summers and winters at low cost in the event that you realize how to deal. As of storm season one can in any case partake in the sea however going for the swim isn't permitted heaps of nearby and homegrown group so keep away from this one assuming you need quiet and serene time. Rather go for morjim or arambol.

Most Popular Beach ⛱️ 😎 in Goa. You will find a humongous crowd here. The best place to chill in the evening after dark clubs are average here. 👌 other than that you can also enjoy many water sports here. But care full with prices 😕 they will try to trick you for extra money 💰 🤑. Nightlife is also fun there sum pubs are free you just have to buy something some of them charge. Best experience you must try.

One of the busiest beach in Goa. Best beach for bachelors & college students. Night vibe is awesome for party lovers. Dance pubs all over. Only problem is music is so loud, hence those who prefer calm & quiet place for eg, families can prefer other beaches around.

Great beach with a lot of people! I stayed near Calangute beach so this was where I visited for a mesmerizing sunset and great bath. This large beach was a bit crowded and life guards were patrolling too. Spent a lot of time here and it was worth it.

The beach is huge and you can do lot of water sports activities here. There are alot of shacks where you can enjoy a drink and have good food. There are shops nearby where you can buy souvenirs, beach clothes, craft items and lot of tatto shops. The beach also has a designated parking spot for visitors. The beach is pretty clean and has good clean water. This beach is in North Goa region and you can go to nearby clubs and parties during the night.

The beach is totally wholesome , a perfect retreat for relaxation and joy. Unlike other beaches, it has lot of shacks to chill and thrill. The restaurants in it created a marvelous atmosphere and ambience with the lighting and shacks. I could say its an ideal spot for creating lasting memories with family and friends.

This was the most crowded beach even in this pandemic ongoing. People can be seen without Mask and social distancing. Near by restaurant workers make you irritating by asking you for cocktails and parties. But the beach is good and the waves are very heavy.

Beach is great ofcourse, gives you all the North Goa party vibe. However it's shacks has pathetic food. I personally didn't enjoy the beach just because of the food and service quality. If that's not the case it must be on your checklist.

Lovely beach Enjoyed the evening in the beach. Local shacks decorations were very attractive but food options were not upto the mark. Taste wise it could always be better. A candle light evening well spent with family.

Great place Just that you get bothered a lot by beggars and passer-by sellers We even heard a lot of people lost their phones, wallets during the same time Also, best time is to spend from evening 5 to night 1 so that you can enjoy the evening sunset and drinks and food at beach shacks

A pleasant beach. Wonderful place to relax. Several water sports like jet ski, parasailing, boating, floating is available at nominal cost. Clean beach. Beach shafts are available free of cost. Night view is amazing with delicious veg & non-veg food. Close to Candolim & Baga beach, walking distance from Calangute beach.

Awesome beach to spend quality time with loved ones. Parking is nearby so you can lock valuable in car and visit beach. Beach has plenty of eating and drinking options. Water sports is operational in other seasons but stopped in monsoon due to weather risk. You can not bath swim in water in monsoon. Life guard is there on duty to keep watch.

One of the busiest beaches in Goa which will be crowded most of the times. At the same time its one of the beaches which we should explore when we visit Goa. During evenings, this beach is decorated with lots of lights by different shack owners and also DJ makes this place a wonderful one. We can sit beside the beach, have some chilled beer with our loved ones and enjoy the moment.

It's a kind of beach with many shacks and huge crowd during festive season. If you like lots of people around you, many things going around, loud music from all the shacks at a time, then it's the right place for you. If you are looking for peaceful, pleasant vibes then you might be disappointed.

Pros: 1) Must visit beach of Goa. Clean beach with plenty of options available for food and night life. 2) If you love water sports, then go for it here. Various vendors available for water sports. 3) Good for permanent and temporary tattoos. Lots n lots of vendors available for tattoos. 4) Bargaining - Always do bargaining which can result in saving some extra bucks. I purchased an item worth Rs 100 (which they were selling at Rs 600). Imagine the level of bargaining which the local vendors do. Cons: 1) People generally don't wear masks and don't follow social distancing which is must these days. 2) Little bit over crowded than other beaches such as Baga beach, Anjuna etc

Calangute Beach is one of the most popular and vibrant beaches in Goa. With its golden sands, clear blue waters and a range of water sports activities, it is an ideal destination for those seeking adventure and relaxation. The beach is lined with shacks, restaurants and bars offering delicious food and drinks. However, due to its popularity, it can get quite crowded and noisy at times.
