We waited for exactly 1 hour before anybody came to clear our table and another 45 minutes before anyone came to take orders. We were then told that in this restaurant by the river there were no fish dishes left at 5.30pm! Regrettably we had to leave after approximately 2 hours with not even drinks offered in this time! Delightful live music and beautiful river view! What a shame service was extremely poor! Staff needs to be trained to welcome their visitors, not ignore them completely! Definitely not going back!

The food was good, but we had to wait for around 45 min to get each dish. The view is only good if you get one of the tables by the danube. Also the background music was very very old, but at least it wasn' t too loud.

Good fish dishes, the food was lukewarm, could have been hot, overall good food, can be improved, missing a bit of salt, the papanashi consitency was not so good the jam on the other hand was very good, all in all, the view of the danube river is a good reason to come eat here.

The place is great for fresh fish dishes. It has a nice view over the Danube and it is a good destination for a motorcycle ride or a pitstop on the way to the sea side.

The food an the whole place is really good. My only negativ critic is: the live music one müan band is toooo loud, like every where east of vienna. Toiletes are clean and the staff is very kind.

The food it is great! We was served quikly bye a young girl very prety! The view it is great! I recomand to eat there, if you are in that zone.

I had a great time at Monica Restaurant,Calarasi m. The place is on Danub bank, has a nice cozy ambiance and a good range of food and drinks to choose from. The food taste is awesome, but the quantity is small. The prices are quite higher than I expected, which doesn't sound justified. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed the place, the food and the time spent there. 😊🍽️🍷👍🏻😋👌🏻
