Don't judge a book by it's cover. This convenience store/restaurant makes good burgers. I've been here over a dozen times now, and everytime I go the team is friendly and provides great customer service. Especially Ms. Marini. She is always pleasant and willing to fix my order to my specific preferences. In fact, her consistency is one major reason why I keep going back time and time again, because I know when she's in, I'm going to get exactly what I ordered. To boot, the food taste good. The prices are reasonable. And they have a rewards program through their own Maplewood Burgers app. In spite of all these positives, my only gripe is that they don't have a location in Texas. But maybe one day soon. All in all, Maplewood Burgers is a great choice for the quality of food, service, and price.

Drove a hour to eat here and it didn't disappoint. My husband would brag about these burgers he'd get when he was working on a job over in sulfer. So one day we took the drive and HOLY MOTHER OF EVERYTHING best dang burgers I've ever had. May I say even better then my mawmaws 🫢 I was in heaven. You know it's good when when it's super messy & they definitely don't skimp on toppings or sauce. 🤤 Don't pass up this hole in the wall burger spot.

Very unassuming exterior, but there's magic inside that building. The food was superb, and both Marina and Brea made the experience even better. Don't overlook this place!

I ordered the Cajun Kick Burger with bacon on jalepeno sour dough with large loaded fries. Burger is delicious - nice heat, well dressed and assembled. Fries are awesome, with generous amount of cheese and bacon. Only mistake I made was getting the large fries instead of regular size. It's a LOT of food. Staff was friendly and courteous. This is definitely on my list to revisit next time I am in town.

So let me tell you about this OG A+ Maplewood burger joint... First of all, do not judge a book by it's cover but by the taste in this case. Secondly, the customer service was amazing; Murry, Laura, Marina were all super friendly and fun people. In addition, the menu is like the Willy Wonka of burger joints; so many ways to customize a burger. Lastly, the taste was unbelievable. I feel like my taste buds were just born. It is a bit pricey but 1000% worth it. Try ASAP!!!

Found this gem on our road trip through Louisiana. Some of the best food in Louisiana comes out of convenient stores! Trust your stomach! We split a cheese burger and loaded fries. It was the perfect grill top burger taste we were looking for! Definitely hit the spot. Mirina (?) was very welcoming and helpful in deciding what we should get. Glad we split - it was a lot of food! Found our new burger stop! Maplewood has a great menu of stuffed burgers, wraps, a solid kid menu and drool-worthy shakes. The staff was friendly, highly attentive and passionate about their food. They accommodated special requests and we left stuffed!

We were originally heading to a place that wound up being closed, so we got on Google and just started searching. Came across this little place and decided to try it out. When you first get there you may 2nd guess your decision.. DON'T! GO IN AND ORDER! The burgers were SO GOOD! We got the stuffed brisket and the Mac n cheese burgers. The Mac n cheese has got some spice to it, but not bad. They were both very good! Later we went back and got shakes and they were very good as well. The people were very nice. We would definitely come back!

If you find yourself passing thru Louisiana and you get a craving for an amazing burger, stop in at Maplewood Burgers. You won't be disappointed. We stopped at the original Sulphur location and met some really nice people working the counter and grill. They were obviously very proud of their food, and told us all about the restaurant locations in Lake Charles and Lafayette. The Sulphur location is an ice house with minimal seating, but it was fine for us traveling thru to Florida. If we lived in Louisiana, I think we would be regulars.

Don't be fooled by the look of the place, there are some darn good good burgers and shakes in there! Super, super friendly staff and excellent "stuffed" burgers!

Came here once with my dad who introduced me to this new restaurant and this time on my second trip I had to try a bit of everything. It’s all so good & the shakes are amazing!
