It was an unexpected visit to this beautiful temple which put me to surprise. Lord Guruvayoorappan invited to have his Darshan. And the beauty is the temple is celebrating its 28th year, where various cultural programmes are conducted.

Being a keralite, this was a home feeling, similar ambience as to our home guruvayoor temple. Lots of keralites. Best thing, we can say things in our local native lang .. prasadam .. vazhipaadu etc..

It has a serene atmosphere.. I got a total feel of Guruvayur. We all enjoyed visiting this temple. Also, temple follow the strictness of "No pants/Jeans" in the main temple premise for both men and women.Men need to wear Veshti and enter bare chest in the temple. For women/girls it's Saree/Salwars.. The approach from main road is slightly cumbersome as it is located in a very small bylane but barring this odd, everything else is perfect.

Very nice and pleasant place to visit in Kolkata. Almost mimicking guruvayur in Kerala. Males have to wear dhoti to enter into the temple.

The temple is situated in between Deshpriya and Rashbihari. Space is a constraint but well maintained. You can reach by bus as well as Uber. Very peaceful place. All types of pujas perform here which you can see in the photograph. Lord Guruvayurappan is Lord Krishna. God bless all.

This temple comes as a complete surprise inside a very narrow lane. You cannot get your car inside the lane. So please park in the broader street and walk down. The temple is neat and clean and has a peaceful vibe. I visited the temple near the closing time of 8.30 and had a very good darshan

I had a long cherished wish to conduct my kids' annaprashan at Guruvayur temple. But it was too far for us. We got the ceremony done here. It is a blissful place. People from temple are also very helpful and welcoming.

Nice ambient, clean and quiet temple. One must wear or carry dhoti if he wants to enter sanctorum. Men wearing trousers are not allowed to enter santorum. But can see the idol of lord Vishnu from a distance.
