Now Bengal has it’s own infrastructure to host international level exhibition. It has 2 state of the art pavilion hall which can host 10000 people together at a time. Also a High end Business block with all facilities.

It used to be a open ground but now it's a closed hall used to organise various types of fair and conventions, I was invited in this event via a travel agency, it was a good experience, lot of the hotel and property owners were here themselves and the vibe was nice, it was tourism convention and there were different separate sections for different states and all the business units would be there. There were couple of international tour agency and some pan India tour agency as well. Over all it was a fun experience. Its close to science city kolkata.

This place has evolved a lot. I remember my childhood when I used to go there with my parents during book fair. It is now well maintained place to encourage business and trading. I went there during the exibition of food equipment suppliers across India. Neat and clean, tempature controlled hall with even layout for all the participants.

One of the biggest centres for exhibitions in Kolkata. 6th World Mithai Namkeen convention and expo organised by FSNM. The operation team and support staff or utilities service providers are arrogant. No proper organisation. When we entered it was a messad everywhere we have paid an extra amount and done the cleaning at stall. Visitors started entering the hall but we were not able to give them our products brochure as we are not able to settle in the stall. Over all it's a very good experience of the exhibition.

A great place to visit for a chill pill. It houses multiple auditoriums that are used for numerous events. The place is easy to visit as it is just beside the Topsia highway, making it pretty accessible via buses.

This place has transformed from Milan Mela - a humongous empty space that hosted local fairs and exhibitions, to Biswa Bangla Mela Prangon - a grand exhibition-cum-conference venue of international standards. There are halls A and B for exhibitions and a building between them for conferences, media sessions, presentations, etc. All of them have been built with state-of-art infrastructure. Even the space outside is well-furnished but requires better maintenance and management. There are multiple entry gates and several signages for convenience of organisers, visitors and guests.

One of the best place to enjoy grand events in Kolkata. The biswa bangla convention centre in Milan Mela ground is just huge. It is present just at the opposite of science city main gate and behind the Itc Sonar and Royal Bengal. This place is easily accessible and you can go there by bus from anywhere in Kolkata. The hall is fully air conditioned and quite a great place to attend to events. We were there to watch World Cup winner Emiliano martinez. There is ample amount of space and huge number of people can be accommodated in this auditorium which mainly hosts various types of conferences. The washroom is quite clean and well maintained. There is also a restaurant inside which is managed by well known bengali food outlet saptapadi. The directions to various auditoriums are quite easy and there are lot of exits and entry gates. The parking space is also quite spacious and there won't be any problem to park your cars. Definitely a must go for a great event to enjoy yourself.

We were there for defence exhibition. Hall were very nice. Only problem is food court unavailability. You have order things from outside. Domino's is nearby you can get delivery within 20 min. ITC hotel at walking distance

It’s one of the best exhibition halls I have seen in india. The halls are spacious, have decent car parking, food court is good have few permanent food stalls there which serves decent with with minimal pricing when we compare other events. It’s sad to see how the authorities are Γ±Γ΅t maintaining or not able to maintain as the people are spitting every nook and corner, toilets are not in great condition. It’s just behind ITC and JW Marriott hotel. I wish they could maintain is better. Fountain is filled with fungus, garden is maintained. Easy access to washroom from the hall but they don’t even have a wash area at food court.

Woooh … to be honest I visited this place for the first time and I am highly impressed with the way this place has been decorated for organising large events and gatherings.. the facilities are top notch to be honest with around 6 halls in which major events can be organised in a bigger way.. Location: this is located just at the back side of ITC Royal Bengal hotel and well placed with public amenities of all sorts.. although no such public bus service is available to the location yet this place has huge area for parking and all so overall you won’t have to worry if your travelling with your own vehicle or even if your taking any cabs.. The area is beautifully decorated with plants and trees around although there are many places without shade .. the halls are centrally AC with well equipped arrangements and public facilities. Overall the best place in Kolkata at this moment to organise large events or conferences or gathering

We had an exhibition here and the ambience of the place is nice. Right next to ITC royal bangal hotel it is a suitable location for exhibition conduction and marriage functions.

Milan Mela the permanent fair ground opposite Science City, is set to open in its new avatar on April 11 after being shut for renovation for five years. The complex is being managed by the West Bengal Trade Promotion Organisation (WBTPO), which plans to organize national and international trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and various events to promote art and culture there. A tall clock tower with the Biswa Bangla logo and LED lighting has been constructed at the front of the ground. The facility will have a state-of-the-art convention hall, a multi-storey parking lot that will be able to accommodate 600 cars, and a display area for handicraft items. Besides, there will be an open-air exhibition gallery and a community hall, along with an automated ticket counter.

Such an extravagant place. Here are some cute photographies from my gallery. I love that the place have less dust now. The place looks so cool. It's well decorated. You can visit there for a nice and cute family outing. The place is cozy. The place looks like something straight from abroad haha. Beautiful flowers here and there. Good place for photography for people like me. I did some too. Enjoyed there.

The Abid was on on 18th March . It was a smaller version what I have experienced earlier . The Mela ground infrastructure is great and it a better venue . The parking is seamless and the entry from the parking to the halls is easy too . The 2 halls are A and B with some more different classifications . It's a good opportunity to visit and see what is latest happening in the respective fields . I visited early around 11.15 and did see some parts still getting cleaned .. so i suggest best to visit after 12 . Overall a good visit.

I just love the place. It is very clean and well organised . Just a few days back I had a program there and really enjoyed that. I didn't like the food though it's a little over priced in my opinion otherwise it's a very beautiful elegant place. I really liked watching the sunset from there.

It's a big big place for Exhibitions just opposite to Science city. They have so many entry places, lots of parking places. Most main route buses do stop here with Milan Mela stop. Inside is ac with small halls for food stalls n kitchens.

Nice place. Big halls to arrange any kind of fair however till date only TTF is getting organized..good air conditioning system inside the pavilion. Though there is no parking place inside, you have to park on the road, and no food kiosk as well..just opposite to Science City.

Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan (formerly known as Milan Mela) is the primary exhibition and convention centre for Kolkata, India. With 31,894 square metres (343,300Β sqΒ ft) of exhibition space, it is the largest exhibition centre in Kolkata. The complex is owned and managed by the West Bengal Trade Promotion Organisation (WBTPO), Government of West Bengal.
