Excellent service, the guy was so helpful and he was happily accomodating the children who wanted to taste flavors before ordering. They have ice cream, frozen yogurt and commercial packaged ice cream. They have all sorts of cones too. Highly recommend it.

Ice creams, orchatas (orgeat), shaved ice desserts. Acceptable quality, very expensive price. Very traditional in the summer time. Ask the bartender for special combinations

This is a "hole in the wall" gelateria that is best found by looking for the long queue of customers sweating in the sun for their chance to enjoy the goodies within. Jijonenca is most popular for its 70+ flavours of ice cream, but also for the many flavours of slushy available. It is a chain that operates up and down the East coast of Spain, but this location is special. One specialty known only to Arenys de Mar locals is the "mig-mig" or "tronc." I love this combination of orxata and lemon slushy. You can get it at other cafes on La Reira, but they may look at you funny and need an explanation. In other villages they will think you are crazy, but this is a lovely combination.
