I think my favorite part of the experience was finding blood on the sheets, or maybe it was the crumbs in the bed I cant decide. But couldn't beat the sensation of butterflies when I smelt the mold in the stairway but maybe that was nausea. To top off the whole experience, the front desk man was my favorite, embodies apathy and selfishness so well, any narcissist would be so proud; he would make a terrible actor due to him not being able to show a care in the world about the dirty room he offered, rather seemed more concerned in booking it out as fast as he could by asking me "Was the room left the same way you found it". Like yes sir, it's still filthy. Only giving one star because I can't post 0 stars.

No coffee maker in room but I had coffee. Only had one chair to sit in. Mattress was memory foam and if you sat on it very much it left a dip that wouldn't go away. Room never got cleaned during my entire stay. TV kept having issues. Was easier to figure it out on my own than to call their "maintenance" who didn't know what to do. Apparently changing sheets is self-serve but clean ones are only available at 7am. Noise from freeway at night was terrible. People live in RVs on the property. I didn't have any trouble with the other guests. Room rate went up every time I went to pay. First 4 weeks was 1300. Next 4 weeks was 1600. Then it was going to be over 1800. I left before they required an arm leg or first born child. I have been charged twice because the room "wasn't clean" when I checked out. Well duh. I stayed in it and if staff hadn't kept trying to rush me out I would have made it look better. Would not recommend to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. If it were possible to give ZERO stars I would.

The pictures do NOT show the lotus hotel!!! This hotel is a SCAM!!! By far the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever been in. We ended up leaving and taking the loss of money since they would not refund. Our room had throw up in the toilet, ash all over the floors and bed, makeup on the pillows, and beds were dirty and not made well. There were drug addicts all over. It was honestly terrifying for out of towners. DO NOT STAY HERE.

In Boise town, the Lotus Hotel you'll find, A budget stay, it's quite inclined. But oh, what troubles you might meet, As you seek a place to rest your feet. Through another hotel's lot you go, To find this place, a curious show. The room doors don't shut right, it's true, Beware, you might enter a room askew! The pillows, strange as can be, One's fluffy, while the other's dull you see. The curtain fails to block the light, Parking lot glow, it shines so bright. A tiny fridge to keep things cool, And just eight channels on the TV, how cruel! The remote can't control the sound, In silence, you'll stay, no noise around. Unplugged lights, a puzzling sight, To find the switches, a tricky flight. Only a light blanket on the bed, No proper cover to rest your head. Stained sheets, a disappointment to face, No breakfast or pool, such a sad embrace. Yet, through these flaws, a silver line, A decent price, a saving sign. So if you seek a budget bed, The Lotus Hotel, you might be led. Though quirks it has, you'll manage, I'd say, For a three-star stay, it's still okay.

If you are wanting comfort , quality, safety or a good night sleep, this place is not the place. Now if you want stained bed sheets, staff walking into your room without knocking at 7am, old run down motif, and dirty decor, this place is for you!

You get what you pay for. Booked on a moving trip to save some cash for expenses later. Noticed the sheets were dirty and had little black hairs. Used the sheets to clean the floor along side some towels my wife used. Probably hasn’t been cleaned in a month at the least. Shower was filthy, and the cold water didn’t work in the faucet. The clerk that greeted us was very quiet and mad we couldn’t here him. Was very short and rude to my wife. If you stay here cause it’s cheap, that’s fine, just bring your own blankets and pillows, clean the place with their sheets so they actually wash them, and be blunt and stern with the front desk guy so you stop his attitude before it can begin.

This place is 1 step below a homeless shelter. Absolutely disgusting. You only get a sheet, no blankets. Honestly, I didn't even want to ask for one. Microwave is filthy with food in it and the outside hadn't been wiped down...ever? Hair in the shower and on the toilet. My company booked this hotel for me or I would have had other options. Go somewhere else this is disgusting. Needless to say there's a huge group of homeless people in the parking lot doing God only knows. I am sleeping with all of my clothes on I refuse to even touch the bed for fear of bed bugs. And what the hell is in the freezer (that is not cold)?

I’m not picky about places to stay, but I couldn’t stay here for more than 10 minutes. Not only did the parking lot and area feel unsafe, the room was disgusting. There was blood on the sheets and hair on the pillow. The door was greasy and dirty. Every towel was visibly dirty, and there were some soiled wadded up towels on the bathroom floor. There were also stains and splatters on the bathroom wall, as well as black mold. I didn’t even stay long enough to check for bed bugs, as I was worried for my health and safety. Stay literally anywhere else.

Room was absolutely disgusting with stains on the walls, floor, and on the bed side as well, floor looked overall unvaccuumed, and bathroom was just gross! I didn't dare touch the shower, with it's peeling, smelly non slip mat! Whole room just felt gross, and minimally maintained if at all. There even was a rando stick from a tree just sitting on the ac! There was a lot of shady things going on outside as well, with people blasting music, which kept me up most the night. I would definitely not recommend staying here!! Not worth any savings it might have!

There's a reason it's the cheapest hotel in town, rooms are sort of bland, there's a lot of noise, of many varieties and backgrounds, hot water in the winter is a rarity, and the police are usually around once a night. Desk staff are gruff and not very personable, but hey, you know what you signed up for. Trifecta represent!

If I could give 0 stars I would. First room they gave me was dirty the ac didn't work nor did the light in the bathroom. They have no elevator going upstairs so carrying your luggage is a nightmare. The second room they gave me was only slightly cleaner than the first one and they didn't seem to care. Save your money don't go here

This hotel has definitely stepped up their game. In previous years it was a pretty scary stay. I had a hard time getting room service or the blankets and things I needed throughout my stay. Had to wait for stuff up front for quite a while. The prices are kind of high for what this hotel offers, but I am going to see that it doesn't seem to be a rundown drug-filled area anymore and that if I need a cheap hotel in Boise I can go here and know that I will get a safe room. I might just bring my own blanket and some toilet paper so I don't have to worry. Great location though by the airport, and right off the freeway.

I'd like to point out all the bad reviews are outdated. As I understand, they're under new management, and they've made fantastic improvements. When we first stayed here, I was worried it would be disgusting based on the reviews and the price, but it was just fine. No signs of bugs, clean room, everything worked. Staff is kind, courteous, and professional. I know it used to be a dump, but it's a whole new place, now. And they have a good monthly rate. If you need a cheap place to stay, it's the best in Boise.

The room I stayed in was not only very dirty all around, but I essentially froze all night because there was only a sheet and a thin loose knit blanket on the bed. A neighboring room had their toilet running LOUDLY through the entire night... Any and all noise around the room can definitely be heard through the walls. This hotel is listed as PET FRIENDLY however it does not allow cats, which I didn't know until morning time. They charged me a fee that was well over the entire cost for one night stay. Unfriendly front desk staff. Avoid this place, it's not worth it.

The staff was very helpful and pleasant, and worked patiently with me to be sure I could get checked in. Big thank you to them for that! The room was VERY basic, a few items from previous guests in a drawer, and only two small pillows on the bed. Also denied my service dog entry without certification card when we have no requirements for certification in Idaho. So, there's good and bad.

1st room had a foul odor, toilet was used, toiliet handle had blood stain, room dirty with stains all around, heater dials faded, Front desk clerk was reluctant to get me into another room. 2nd room was supposed 2 b a clean room as the 1st one. Bathroom had fecal matter on the floor. 3rd room was ok, not clean. Proterty is owned by the same people as the Americas best value and Ramada. All next to each other. I asked if i could move 2 the America's best value n pay the $6 or even $20 diff. I've stayed at the America's best value next door. Its slightly better, not by much. Front desk clerk said no. Water was either too hot or too cold. Mattress was old worned out with cigarette burns on the sheets. It was late, i was tired n needed to get work done. Housekeeping came over at 10:28am. I told the lady. "Its 10:30am, why are you already knocking on my door?". She blatantly denied being 10:30am, she said its time for you to check out. Its 11am already as she look at her watch and realized it was 10:30pm. I told her all the mishaps n she was defensive about everything, because she clean the rooms she said. She wanted me to take a shower w scolding hot or cold water. I said no. She was supposed to get Maintenance, but never did. At 11:15am, I headed over to the front desk. Two men were on their fones. I asked to speak w the manager. One of them said, I am. As I started explaining, he got his phone n then on a call instead without even trying to acknowledge me as he replied he was the manager. I went over to the ramada n asked to speak to their general manager Jay. The front desk said I needed to speak to the lotus manager, not the ramada. Which i tried. Again, they are all owned by the same people. Go someplace else, some place decent. Pay the xtra $6.0 elsewhere. It's so worth it. There r plenty on the other side of the interestate by the airport.

No bed bugs and the curtin was not long enough for the window and no coffee container. The gentleman at the desk was a perfect gentleman and he was really up front on everything that this motel would provide. I was pleased with the stay.

When we walked into the room you can tell people had smoked in here, there was stuff all over the floor like it hadn’t even been swept or mopped, the sheets are dingy you can see maybe blood and stuff smeared on the sheets and pillowcases, the towels are so dingy and yucky like they’ve been used before and then just hung back up, no toilet paper and the shampoos etc have been used and lit back out for next customers. counters were you can see a greasy rag have been wiped across and there are kids hand prints all over the mirror up and down. thank God I saw no signs of any bugs but the room is just disgusting you get the smell when you walk in into the room of a stale room open the window no screen so mosquitoes got in. just not worth Trying to save money and feeling safe

Horrific! A friend of mine very bad situation and these staff of common criminals charge St. Vincent de Paul twice what they would charge normally! $100 a night! My friend was scared for her life as the maintenance man and two other employee were caught breaking into her room and they tried to break into my car! I was told I could park my car right in front of the camera then the foreign and verbally abusive ‘ night managers’ should you must follow the rules. The hotel is in disrepair not key cars are required to open any side door, there are stinking rotten mattresses sitting on the side of the building. Each staff is male foreign and rude! Shut this place down! And stop sending single homeless women to this hotel St. Vincent De Paul! The danger you put struggling folks in by placing them in this hotel is unethical. I’ve attached pictures I took of the room this is after my friend cleaned it, nothing less then nasty, all male staff! WTH! Is going on at this place?!

There was three sheets on the bed and no blankets. I had to put my coat on top of me just so I could feel the comfort of a "blanket". Two measly pillows for a king bed. The counter top in the bathroom had coffee spills down the sides. The main hallways were gross and had trash strung everywhere. Last but not least I was greeted by a cockroach. Would not recommend staying here even if its is affordable. Do better Lotus!!

Felt unsafe. The door wouldn't lock. No pillows on bed. Random blood in room,ie bathroom, sheets, curtains, carpet. Sketchy people in parking lot all night long. Pretty sure my neighbor was "Michael Vick" because of the dog fights in the hallway all night long. Phone in room didn't work. 4 channels on the 90s model tv. Curtains didn't close properly.

I don’t recommend staying at the lotus inn I stayed in multiple rooms & the towels were dirty the floor wasn’t clean I didn’t trust getting in the shower with out my slides I found cockroaches in one of the rooms I stayed in another one of the rooms & woke up with 10,000 spider bites all over my body. They do not keep this hotel clean. The staff is weird would walk in the rooms in the morning without permission tried to argue & would threaten taking the deposit I lasted 4 days itching & burning from the spider bites. This was definitely a traumatizing hotel experience DONT STAY HERE !!!!
