Great experience all around! Ambiance was very tropical, with lots of live mature plants. It was cozy, romantic and transports you to another land. Food was delicious with many authentic Brazilian dishes. The fresh fruit beverages were healthy and tasty. Our entire group was pleased and we were lucky enough to be there on the one night that they have live music on a Wednesday. We were thrilled. I did not give 5 stars as 1 order was incorrect but was quickly corrected and our check was delivered before our desserts arrived to our table. Our waiter apologized and gave us 2 desserts on the house which was very nice. We’re looking forward to returning.

The food was delicious and so were the drinks. How ever, it was a bit pricey for the portions you received. For two people the rice appeared less than a cup, same with the beans. Not that you need alot but when you're paying 30 dollars per plate you expect each person to at least have 1 cup of rice to go with their protein. There is also a service fee. Again, not sure why. The waiter came to us maybe twice. The times that I paid a service fee was when there was live music, or entertainment was being provided. Maybe I just dont know what service fee are. We also went during lunch time. But got charged for dinner because we got the check when dinner started....

Came for my birthday last week after the restaurant we initially wanted was all booked. Lucky us though, this place is fantastic! Waitstaff is very nice, knowledgeable about the food. The menu is ample, we had some vegetarians and some allergies in the group and everyone had several options, and we all left stuffed and happy! I had the shrimp and butternut squash, and they were kind enough to bring me a delicious little flan cake with blueberries and a candle--best of all, there was no embarrassing singing/clapping (at least, not from the staff, just from my friends being trolls haha) They're BYOB and there's a liquor store right next door. Also, the tiny pineapple on our table was adorable, and the decor is overall calming and impressive. You should check this place out for the ambiance, the service, the food--it's all perfect.

The food and drinks were delicious, the service was great also. Outdoor seating available. I tried the number 18, it was delicious. Two orders (number 18) only came with a small portion of rice & beans. Fresh juice was delicious-I had the strawberry mint. Garlic shrimp appetizer was tasty 😋 My only complaint is that the table for two was quite small trying to comfortably fit the large dishes, appetizers, drinks was a little challenging. The bread was a little too soft inside as well- almost as if it wasn’t baked all the way though. Tasted fine though.

This place is amazing. The restaurant itself its really cute and have a beautiful decor. The staff is extremely friendly. And the food was amazing in all senses. The presentation, the taste, the quantity the price. Will be coming back soon.

Pretty nice! A tad bit pricey but I enjoyed my experience. It's has more of an intimate setting but it's beautiful inside. A great place to go to catch up with a friend or two. I went here to catch up with one of my friends that I haven't seen in Forever! It was great overall. The service was great. Just note on your bill that you will wo be charged the 20% tip, so you can also add any extra amount that you would like to go towards your server. I went for brunch and it wasn't too full

Beautiful dining experience! Food was absolutely delicious and the wait-staff we're all incredibly polite and friendly. The night we dined there was a musician, which really added to the already romantic ambiance. Recommended this place to a gluten free friend, and plan to recommend this place to many others! Thanks!

Very nice Latin restaurant with a homestyle decor and an over the top menu with lots of options. The colorful artwork and lustrous plants created a wonderful atmosphere. Nearby parking lot parking within walking distance and they also have outside dinning seating too! Now, let’s talk about the delicious meals …. Show stoppers! The salads are amazing and large enough to share. My pork chops were to die for and it was just as delicious the next day reheated. Can you say dessert, please do it! Also you can bring your own bottle of wine. I love this place and it was my last night dinner while on vacation. Prefect! Perfect!

Food was good but nothing spectacular. The caramel flan was pretty good. What was a little weird is the moment you get seated they tell you you have only 2 hours and they need the table. Then you see large text on the menu that they will charge 3% for credit cards and 20% service charge for all tables. I understand restaurants are struggling but this ruins the experience. I don’t agree with a service charge instead of a tip because a tip was meant to be for good service this is effectively a tax regardless of service. I don’t think we will be going back.

First time at this restaurant and very happy with everything! The ambiance was great and the aesthetics of the restaurant were super cute! Gabriel, our server, was absolutely a pleasure and provided excellent customer service! Everyone was very attentive and nice. The food was amazing - no complaints! Oh yeah! This place requires reservations but we got in by making a spontaneous decision. Thankfully they had enough room to seat us and we got there before the rush. Everything here is gluten free and is Brazilian infused. The welcoming bread was the best gf bread I’ve had in my life. The feijoada which is there national meal was the best meal I’ve had this year i highly recommend it. The fruit drinks were fresh and tasty . The staff was also pleasant and very accommodating.

One word: AMAZING. You need a reservation so make one asap to experience Samba! Their menu is gluten free (already amazing) but everything is so detailed and authentic. It shows in the food, decor, and overall experience how much passion and love is put into Samba. I’ll be honest, the service could be slightly better with attentiveness but overall it is beautiful and I will recommend Samba to everyone!!

This place is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for fair prices. Consistently clean and with great character. Will come visit again.

All the food is wonderful and honestly heaven if you have a gluten sensitivity or Celiac Disease. It's the only certified gluten free restaurant in NJ so you can feel at ease ordering anything off their menu!

As a Brazilian myself, I can definitely say this place serves authentic and delicious Brazilian food. Price is on higher end than usual but you definitely get your bang for your buck!

Where do I start. Came across this gem through the reviews and instantly loved it. The service was impeccable, the staff was all so welcoming and attentive which we loved. The food- appetizers are a must (they have these pastry’s stuffed with meat or cheese and I wish we got more) The skirt steak and truffle fries 🤤 I had leftover and ate it the next day and it was perfectly fine, usually I don’t like steak the next day but this was juicy and tender enough to warm up again and enjoy. The ambiance and plants everywhere made it feel very warm and romantic. I highly recommend this place and plantains are a must!

Food and service was incredible! Dedicated gluten free so no risk for cross contamination for celiacs. Bruno was very friendly and nice, and he took great care of us! Can’t stress enough how amazing the food was.

Had a reservation for 8pm on Friday night. Showed up a little early and was sat immediately. It is pricey, but is on par for other restaurants in Montclair. We got the strawberry and mint juice/smoothie, cheese bread, short rib sliders special, 3 pastries stuffed with beef, chicken, and cheese, and pastry stuffed with king crab. Then we had a steak dish with mashed potatoes and veggies, churros, and the Brazilian truffles. Everything came out hot and perfectly timed in terms of appetizers and then our entrée. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare). The short rib sliders and the churros were probably my personal favorites. And we had leftovers from each course. We will definitely be back again! Side notes: yes they include 20% gratuity as well as 3% credit card fee, so bring cash if you want to save a few bucks. Also, they are BYOB.

Our group’s birthday celebrant chose Samba for her birthday dinner and it was so good! We were seated for a group of 9 through a reservation on a Monday night. The ambience, decorations (perfect for pictures), staff, and food (apps, mains, and desserts) were all 10/10. I’ve heard of this restaurant through friends as well who have recommended it so it is a known spot for brunch or dinner. Our server Joao along with the rest of the staff were very attentive and made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire night. The staff even sang happy birthday and added a candle to the dessert without us needing to ask! Could not have asked for a better experience!

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants! The servers are always incredibly kind and extremely helpful if you’re new to Brazilian cuisine. The food always exceeds my expectations and leaves me wanting to come back soon.

We got an early reservation and they did not hesitate to let us in as they were opening. Very sweet wait staff. The food was delicious! They even taught us the correct pronunciations 😂 One of our party members is celiac and he was able to just order without worry. We will absolutely be back!!

Food was excellent and served quickly. Servers were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and drinks were filled. We came in with our 2 month old and they made sure we had a table that could accommodate the stroller. The only problem came when the bill included an automatic 3% credit card fee...we were paying with cash, and they didn’t remove the fee...

We ordered our Christmas Eve dinner from Samba. I am gluten free, and the rest of my family is not. I get tired of trying to pick out what *might* be gf from a regular restaurants menu, so to avoid any chance of feeling sick on Christmas Day, we ordered dinner from here. I spoke to someone on the phone twice in the days before ordering, because my husband is salt free, and I was hoping they could accommodate him as well, which they were happy to do. The person I spoke with (the chef? the owner?) walked me through all of the salt free options, and which dishes to avoid because they could not be made salt free or low salt. The food was excellent. The chef took great care to time his cooking to allow for the drive back to our home, so that nothing would be overcooked or dried out. We ordered a variety of appetizers, salads, and main courses that included chicken, beef, and shrimp, plus many vegetables. It was all delectable! Thank you, Samba, for providing us with the perfect meal that didn't simply meet our food sensitivity needs, but was also fun, full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and delicious! We will definitely be ordering from here again.

This is the best restaurant in all of New Jersey. No joke - If I could live here, I would!! The food is so good. I cannot even describe to you how cute and lovely the Bohlinos are, and the sauce that comes with them is to die for! Lunch is amazing, dinner is amazing, dessert - everything is so good. To be honest, you should just order the entire menu and prepare to be amazed!!

The food was okay...nothing to write home about!!Dinner with glasses of water for 4 with tip 146 dollars..food was served warm but in my opinion could have been hotter.What was really off putting was the service.Very robotic waiter...not even a friendly word!!Also it was a Saturday night and we felt rushed....wait staff was hovering behind our table as I guess they had another reservation to honor.Really don't know what all the gushing reviews are referring to.I believe other restaurants in the area would make for a better experience with tastier food!!Truly overrated!!

I finally got to try this place and was excited because I never had Brazilian food before so was looking forward to it. When I arrived as usual I had a little trouble finding parking but eventually I did. When I walked in I told the server, Luis, I had reservations and he allowed me to pick where I wanted to sit. Fyi: I liked the decor of the restaurant and it's byob. Luis was our server and he was ok. Service could of been better but it wasn't terrible. They weren't as attentive as I would have liked. We had to keep getting the server's attention for him to come over. For brunch I had the angus burger on their homemade bread and my friend had the egg and cheese sandwich and a detox drink. She had to remind them about the drink because they forgot to give it to her. I really liked my food, the burger tasted so fresh. The fried yucca was very good as well. My friend enjoyed her sandwich as well and she said the detox drink was good. The cost was a little over $37 which wasn't bad. All in all we both had a good experience.
