Just unfortunate. Group of seven with reservations, the staff seemed flustered because they were short handed, which I can overlook. However it is not an excuse for bad food. 1 member ordered the 31$ steak at rare, it arrived medium well. The waitress was kind and sent it back for a re-fire. This time as if to prove a point it came out practically blue. We didn’t send it back a second time. 2 members ordered the French dip- the meat was dry, but the cheese and bread were nice. However the jus was extremely disappointing. It was watery and when the sandwich was dipped it didn’t even alter the color of the bread. We tried doctoring it with salt and pepper but it did nothing to help. The Reuben is open faced which is weird, but the meat was also overcooked. We ordered mozzarella sticks and potato skins- which were fine but not special. Also the side salads were completely forgotten about and we had to inquire for them. Our server was nice and she made it through the meal. The unfortunate cherry on top was the power went out before we could pay for our check.

Overpriced and quality of food was very disappointing for all 6 in our party. The chopped steak was nothing more than a frozen burger with a single onion ring on top. I would have been happier at Denny's!

Well not that great. GF's steak came out undercooked so we asked to have it cooked more. No problem - all good. The Service was not that great, in my opinion. GF's prime rib steak was on the smallish side and had a line of fat running the length of it. I had a Reuben it was Ok Nothing spectacular. GF had a sweet pomegranate martini that may have been the best thing about our dinner. We enjoyed a whole room all to ourselves I liked the peaceful vibe of the place. The chairs & decor are old fashioned I liked the look. In men's room a lack of liquid soap annoyed me upon arrival. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were good to great. The waitress was laid back and friendly

Was here about 8 years ago and happy to say we're glad we came back! Salad was served chilled and crispy, the pork chops were juicy, large and delicious. The apple pie was served hot and was tasty. Plus the service was outstanding.👍

Nice small town atmosphere and the food was great. My steak was cooked perfect the fries were nice and crispy, and the bartender didn't chimp on the alcohol absolutely great experience

I love the prime rib which is only available on Friday and Saturday nights. Plenty of parking, good bar.

This place is a gem. Old school steak house with impeccable service and great food! The atmosphere is something to treasure rather than critique. Our table ordered 3 steaks(2 Filets, 1 NY Strip) and 1 chicken pot pie. All 3 steaks were cooked to perfection and the pot pie is something we all will crave! Looking forward to our next meal here.

Driving thru from Newark airport. Got the Reuben. It didn't list that the sandwich was open-faced which was disappointing and the Russian dressing mixed in with the sauerkraut was overwhelming and needed to be scraped off. I would suggest putting it on the side as I've never had an issue with Russian dressing when ordering elsewhere. I opted out of the fries and asked for a salad which the bartender 'forgot' to tell me was an upcharge when I showed her the price discrepancy on the menu. Seems like a nice little local hangout.

Locals say it was once a roadside speakeasy Totally believe it Last decorated maybe 1950’s Really dark dark wood High back wooden booths with no padding Clientele mostly 70’s and up some really up Like possibly their last chance to eat out before the home Very wheelchair accessible Would have to be Huge parking lot Nice pace to take grandma or great grandma Forget about taking the grandkids Food is decent and not expensive Complimentary salad- iceberg lettuce couple of slices of cucumber and a couple of cut up cherry tomatoes Like eating at grandmas Need a meal locally and don’t want to pay $15 for a loaded baked potato This is the place Dr Arnold saslow

The food was excellent. I got the cowboy, my daughter the burger, and everybody else the prime rib. Each was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The cheesecake and apple pie were excellent as well. The decor is old and dark, which adds to the charm. Best of all was our service, which was friendly, fast, and fantastic. We will definitely go again.

Steakhouse uh huh. Not in many years. Prime rib fri and sat only. Unless its 3:30pm on sat afternoon and have "run out" of it. So you get recommended a 45.00 rib eye. It was a fatty strip steak. Super fried frozen onion ringsn fresh with raw breading inside the thicker part. Served a cold ginger ale and apple juice (straws not included). Had to ask bartender for straws. Atmosphere. Its been the same for atleast 30 years. Service... depends on who you get and how their day was up to that point.

The place definitely is a landmark, needs some updating but steaks were cooked to perfection. Antionette was a great waitress, we got her chatting, found out she has been there for quite some time. Definitely going to come back, prices were reasonable as well…..

I came here purely out of curiosity, and I thought I would order a steak to try it out, I didn't have to wait long. The steak turned out to be very tasty, I even ordered another one later.

Great quality food. Loved beef Au Ju. French fries crisp and not salty. Wait staff delightful. Great insight to TITOS vodka story. Enjoyed my martini all the more.
