Service was absolutely terrible. Wait staff doesnt seem to care about anything which is just ridiculous. The music playing was ghetto trash that im sure wouldnt be appropriate around children or approved by corporate. Now for the food. Im pretty sure Hellen Keller could cook a better burger and potato skins than the cook they have. Ive never seen something so burnt in my life. Just over all terrible experience. Also, potato skins shouldnt have a slice of cheese on it. It should be shredded but its obvious they dont care in there.

Service is slow and the workers seem miserable. No greetings. Also the manager came over to my tabe and said do not share. He was referring to the mozzarella cheese sticks. BTW the person I was with ordered the plant based burger. Unlikely that he was eating cheese sticks. .

Just don't use any cutlery. Literally all 11 of our forks and knives had food on it. Dont get the dragon salmon. They charge 21 dollars for a small sliver. They think they are some 5 star restaurant in Manhattan I guess. The manager was not in the least bit helpful. You can see from the photo it's all rice and broccoli that youre really ordering. Hilarious.

The food was disgusting, tasted like they did not add a pinch of salt or seasoning, meats were burnt on some areas, dry, and even the pasta was bad! we were a large group and all of us had something negative to say about this food. THEY NEED A NEW CHEF! Very dissapointing, I am not from the area but I came because all TGIF's I have been to are great but this place was a digrace! Not coming back.

Being there on Friday during the day was quite pleasant. The Server we had name was Shay and she took her time with us since she was also juggling behind the Bar. It was not even pack inside. The menu had changed but the food is still the same. They now have $4 cocktails 🍸🍹 all day everyday. I never had any problem with this spot. U just have to know the best time to come. Yes they do get really busy at night. Football days are usually funny. When they mess up ur food the Manager do get involved to fix the problem. They have new dessert

I had great customer service over the phone to place a takeout order but once we got home we were disappointed. I ordered shrimp only for my pasta and the other was regular with chicken and shrimp. The portion size and flavor of the food was not worth the $23 per order.

My kids and i went for dinner 🤦🏾‍♀️ 1. The guy with the beard that works in the bar talks extremely loud could barely hear 2. Ordered a burger, there was hair in it 3.cajun chicken and shrimp pasta was blah, came with minced chicken 4.it wasnt busy and the ladies room was filthy

I usually come to this Fridays once a week, and never had an issue, but tonight I was seating on the first table by the bar and no server came to me but this guy dressing with a nice shirt, that came by a couple of times asking me if I was fine, and I didn't want to get anyone in trouble, so I kept telling the guy that I was fine; about the third time he came to my table I decided to ask this guy if he was a manager and he told me that he was the manager on duty, and right when I told him about the bad experience me and my husband were having, he took our order, he went and got my drinks, and make sure I got all in the right way. He told me his name but I forgot. All I can say is that he had a nice dressing shirt, glasses and a beard, and his shirt was so nice that even my husband told him about it. Thanks Fridays for having such great supervisors overseeing everything, this guy gave me an example of customer service.

The service is so terrible, that they don't even offer you water or let you finish your appetizers on time and will Bring you your dinner. Also the food was so cold like when l ordered my pasta it was cold but they said the meal was hot but they lied. THE FOOD IS POOR AND THE SERVICE IS VERY BAD AND POOR, the steak was not well cooked either. please recommend you guys to get older workers and when they collected the bill they came back 4 mins late. When everyone's kitchen is closed at 9pm on a Sunday headout to Fridays in West Orange. My best friend and I really wanted some grub on a Sunday night to celebrate my belated birthday. We ordered appetizers and a soft drink every thing was good. Except the waiter not checking in on us if we wanted refills.

LOVE THIS SPOT ! the bartenders and the locals make it feel like home . After u get past the host (rude) i used to come here everyday after work. Wings on point . Pricey compared to other places but not by much.

This is by far the worst restaurant experience I ever had in my life! I walked into this establishment with my family just to grab a bite before a flight, and noticed there was no hostess at the booth to greet us and welcome us in. It literally took about 5-7 minutes for someone to come to us and ask if we would like to be seated? I mean, what do you think? We're just window shopping for food? Anyway, after being seated, the waitress took another 10 minutes to come to the table to introduce herself, in which she did not even provide a name, but is was surely the same person that sat us down. So we have all decided on what we wanted to eat, and took our drink order last, which is odd because any other restaurant would want their servers to ask customers what would we like to drink? The drinks literally came to the table 10 minutes after the order was put in, and it also came to us warm. So then another 15 minutes passes by, and the appetizers did not even make it to the table, let alone to dishes we ordered. So we was not very happy with the service and the whole experience was horrible! Food should not have taken that long because it was very slow in the restaurant, there were maybe 6-7 customers at the bar and 3 tables with customers. How can a business this slow be so slow with bringing food and drinks? I truly do not understand this! I myself work in the same industry and I will never ever let my customers wait so long to be seated, have servers improperly introduce themselves, and not bring out food in a timely manner! I am calling out management in this establishment to resolve this issue because it was a bad experience from beginning to end and I will never ever visit a TGIF anymore! Thanx for the horrible restaurant experience....

Clean restaurant, food is good, my young waitress needs to smile and like her job, at this point she not getting much of a tip, gave me my food didn't ask if I needed and more drink. Said nothing and walked off

Host was rude. Server gave me a small glass instead of a tall. Told him beer was stale he insisted on choosing a different type of beer because they were “closing” fries taste like they were sprayed with hand sanitizer. Awful customer service no manager on scene.

The food looked as though it was reheated/old. 2 appetizers cost 50 with the tip. The bartender was also the server. There were no patrons there. I can see why! Don't waste your $

The waitress Shay was awesome but the burger was disgusting... It was burnt and taste like they laid it straight on top of charcoal... Asked for medium well and got well done... Didn't send it back to the kitchen because I fear bad things...

Very bad costumer service. They place me in a table next to the bar with my minor childreen. I asked the manager(I gues) to move us and he scream a the guy that seat us there stating "they have minors!!" Gave me the wrong order twice the same night!! The answer was "oh ok ok I place the wrong" took the plate with out apologizing. TWICE!!!! Gave us the ticket and after asking us to pay she say" y'all want dessert" Y'ALL WANT DESSERT!!! (learn how to talk this is not burger king) you just told me to leave by bringing the ticket while my whole family just started eating!! I asked for the avocado sushi and wanted to confirm that it did not have any shrimp her answer" oh I dont know this menu is very new" whats!?? NEVER AGAIN !!! NEVER AGAIN!!

This is the worse Fridays I ever been too and to think its in west orange like the service was horrible, slow and waited like 20 minutes for our server to even acknowledge we were there and to order our food, she didn't even bring us water to the table or asked if we wanted some it's not like the restaurant was busy it was partially empty. We waited so long to get served we already knew what we wanted to order about time she came, secondly we ordered drinks which didn't come till after our meals it's was just all over the place food wasn't even that hot like it been sitting there in the back waiting and when we got our water they gave it in a plastic to go cup like what kind of place is this. So unprofessional will never be coming back.

My friend and I had to wait 20 minutes but the real problem was others who arrived after us were seated first. We ordered two of the same drinks and each one had a different taste. One was sweet with no alcohol,the other was full of alcohol with a little sweetness. Overall we enjoyed the food,which was very good,and the service.

When we first got there the hostess didn't give us a good welcoming vibe.. we waited for a few and she sat us down. The waiter he came by with no water in his hands.. came introduce himself and take our orders... One of the drink they didn't have the the stuff to make it so he bring the regular long island ice tea, and we also got a mudslide... We waited for awhile and we got the drinks.. they wasn't too bad.. they were ok... nothing to brag about. So he brings us the food.. I had the fish and chips, the cheddar soup, and my husband had the ribs and shrimp combo.. the food came out cold.. my mash potatoes and the rice were barely warm.. they were stiff.. and the soup barely warm.. the food tasted nasty...the only thing on my plate that was warm was the fish. My husband plate broccoli was cold and the mashed potatoes was stiff as a board.. the ribs were ok. We unfortunately ate the food then payed for it. The food was $77 and some change and we gave him $80 and plus we gave the waiter a $10 tip.. he didn't come back with the change.. if we had known we wouldn't have give him $10. I will never go back to this Friday even if it is free. One more thing I asked the waiter for a glass of water during the time we were paying for our meals.. he never came back with the water.. I didn't ask again.. we just left.

TGI Friday’s Is located in the Essex Green shopping center in West Orange I’ve been to this location about 2 times The first time I had a good experience and the food was good my next experience wasn’t good at all and it took them forever to get our food

My waiter was fantastic, he was polite, funny and a Pisces. The food was better than any TGIF restaurant I have been to. The atmosphere was peaceful and it was clean.

Waitress was the nicest thing. Can't say much for hostess or food. Appetizers were okay but the rest of the food not so much.

Came here for a good feed and some Monday Night Football! Sat at the bar where bartender Calvin was holding court and we were off! Started with the Broccoli Soup which was good and then it was onto the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. Really good. We were watching a great game and Calvin was so personable, everyone at the bar loved him. I had to have dessert and the Peanut Butter Fudge Cake put me way over the top (of the calorie chart)! I had a great evening here and would come back in the future! Go Buffalo!!

Be careful eating here. I had to bring one of my orders back because someone ate the lemon and they put it in my order. The manager Roxy has NO customer service and Taleah kept trying to make excuses. They remade the order however for the inconvenience and the situation that item should have been reimbursed. Never again. Will reach out to corporate tomorrow.

Food is good. Service is decent. If I could rate the service independently I would give it a 2.5 star. You have to wait an extra 20 minutes after you put down the menu until you get somebody to actually take your order. Waitresses need to work on making sure during lunch time that people are getting their damn orders taken. I had to wait an obscenely long time to have my order taken. Waitresses need to remember that if they give a customer a menu, they need to go back to that customer to see if they want to order anything! The last few times I went here for lunch the waitresses took their sweet time to get back to me and my co worker. Today the waitress had just conveniently remembered and forgot that I wanted to order something. They are lucky i am giving the restaurant a 3 star!

Great location to meet friends. Staff is friendly. Food is good, drinks were good too. I’ve been here a lot of times and my visit this time seems to be overall the best. I’m giving 4 stars because there was nobody at the post to greet me. I stood there for a few minutes looking around (not long, i just got confused because there used to always be a host at this location)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fridays and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by Shay. From the moment we were seated, Shay went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Not only was Shay incredibly attentive and friendly, but they also had an impressive knowledge of the menu and were able to offer great recommendations. They were always available to answer any questions we had and made sure that our drinks were refilled promptly. What really impressed me about Shay was their attention to detail. They anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, and made sure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Their professionalism and warm personality made our dining experience truly memorable. Overall, I cannot recommend Shay highly enough. They are an asset to the restaurant and I am looking forward to returning soon to enjoy another wonderful meal with their excellent service. Shay was my server and the drinks was a blast. Her customer service skills was amazing and she was very active with the group of party.

Odd experience. The parking lot wasn't packed and inside the same. So I figured this would be great. We literally waited for 35 minutes before anyone came to introduce themselves as our waiter. Food was good. Drinks didn't come until after our food. All in all, if the service was better I would have rated higher. Also now I won't come back to this location. Seemed to not have any set up as to which table was assigned to who. Each table around us had a different waitress. This added to the frustration of being ignored while we waited to be acknowledged.

My family and I went after going to the theater for the first time since Covid. We sat in the bar area. Overall, the area needed to be cleaned up a bit. Paper napkins were on the floor, and some booths/bar starions needed to be bussed. Our server was adequate, but not particularly warm or inviting. Some employees hung out around the bar talking and cussing, and one was scratching her head. My mother commented that she hoped she wasn't handling food. The ladies room also needed to have the trash taken out. I have so many fond memories of going to Friday's after work or after the movies. I heard that things were not the same as before the pandemic, and unfortunately, this is true.

Just to clarify my rating it is not based on service or food, otherwise I would have given a five. It is mostly on the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. The customer service was excellent and the Food was really good. The only take was the cleanliness of the place. Upon entrance to the establishment the floors feel very sticky to walk, the tables and mirrors shown lack of attention too. The bathrooms were dirty, toilet paper all over the floors, toilets without being flushed,etc...it was around 2pm.

JAMALIA THE SERVER WITH ATTITUDE and a RUDE DEMEANOR!!! On October 21, 2023 !!!!I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! Do believe the reviews, they are accurate and I should’ve listened. The waitress was rude and unhelpful , sighing at every order and her demeanor could tell it all. Customer service sucks , she wasn’t pleasant & whenever you placed another order she would sigh and put her hand on her hips and gives attitude . It wasn’t just our table she did it too, the table behind us she did the same thing to them. Also the service is EXTREMELY SLOW !! So I guess she have the right to be overwhelmed 🙆🏽‍♀️ but no that’s not how u treat customers and if you’re unable to be customer oriented and exercise a calm and patient demeanor while working under pressure then QUIT!!!! U OBVIOUSLY HATE YOUR JOB AND I HOPE U SEE THIS . It was my friends birthday and you ruined it with bad service we ended up not even getting dessert . Just wanted to be out to how bad it was , I don’t wanna feel as though I’m bothering someone to spend my money. FYI: I gave her $85 and the bill was $84 and some change . U didn’t deserve any tip at all. Yall need to step it up. Disappointing !!

Haven't been to the TGIF chain in a long time. Returning tonight was worth it thanks to Gerald. A TRUE bartender and so attentive to our dining needs. Service was A++

This was the first time, since I've been going to that restaurant that they didn't follow directions when I order appetizer and say well done that's what I mean as a customer period it was disgusting uncooked.

This spot is my favored. I visit many restaurants but here I go the most. The team is very chummy and the food they place on your table is so appetizing. I never decline to have a good dinner in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

Service is slow, but the food always comes out delicious and hot. I know this is a chain restaurant, but the atmosphere is very inclusive and you feel like others enjoy spending time together at Fridays. Good for friends and family.

Online order and everything went great. Everything was packed up so nice and neat. Nothing was missing and food was still warm by the time I got home.

The food was HORRIBLE 👎🏾 Ordered chicken parmigiana it was burnt & hard. No sauce cold cheese & noodles uncooked with alfredo sauce at the bottom of the dish. Salmon was the size of a chicken nugget with small sides for a 5yr old. Please check your order before leaving just a waste of money!

Food was good. Service was slow, but it is a Pandemic and we walked in at 8:20 PM. It was very empty. 3 of us were able to drink a beer, eat a burger and talk about the fun we had over the last 40 years. It was exactly what we wanted.

I ordered food online due to COVID so there’s no walk in , i ordered my food around 2:07 i didn’t get my food until 3:05 and I only ordered pasta . It doesn’t take that long to make something so simple & I called three times to see if my order were ready they kept telling me 10mins .. they terrible
