Probably the best hibachi in the area, and I've been to all of them. The staff is great and welcoming. The chefs are funny and very good at engaging the audience. They include the things you would expect: throwing veggies into your mouth, onion volcano and yelling Coca-Cola whenever they squirt soy sauce on stuff (always gets me). Drinks are strong and worth it. The biggest plus is the sushi. I would go there for the sushi alone. Parking is the only bad thing about this place. Price is reasonable. Overall I give Izumi Hibachi Steak House a 4.6 out of 5.

Great food and friendly staff at this NJ hibachi restaurant. Similar experience to most hibachi places but these guys definitely seem to like fire (see photos).

We were looking for something different and we got it! In a restaurant you want quality, customer service and caring staff, this place has all of them! The parking is tight I think they share with the motel next door, it never felt unsafe parking outside, the building from outside looks little rundown but inside is a different story, it’s very cozy and homey and spacious! As soon as you open the door you see a beautiful fountain, when you enter their is a bar and sitting area, the grills are all the way at the end of the building and they got plenty of them! It was busy and all the tables were packed, but we had reservations so we got the table, it was very clean and spacious, all the staff was super friendly and helpful, I am vegetarian and they offered Tufo with vegetables, noodles and rice which was amazing, we really enjoyed the whole process and the chef was really fun! Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Tonight we held my husbands 40th birthday dinner. It was a surprise and went off without a hitch. Everyone from the hosts to the cooks to server to the Manager, everyone was so amazing. So helpful. And have such great customer service. They make you feel like family. We had a party of 30 people and they didn’t sweat it for even a second. I would strongly recommend this beautiful place. Oh, and the FOOD!!!!! EPIC.

Never have been to a restaurant like this one and I can say it was a great first experience. Everything was perfectly cook and tasted delicious and more importantly the place was clean and with a nice ambient.

I haven’t been here in years and I’m so happy that everything is just as good as i remembered! Chef Blue was so much fun and did a great job celebrating my husbands birthday w us! The food is delicious and you get a lot for the price.. you won’t leave hungry or disappointed!

We had an amazing time! The food was DELICIOUS. I had the Jenny Boy Roll, I totally recommend it, it was so good. The restaurant itself is very cozy and the staff was so nice and friendly. The guy who made our food was hilarious! It was a really great experience. We are definitely coming back.

I have driven past this place at least 500 times and I am so glad I finally stopped in. The food was fantastic and the show the chefs make while cooking on the hibachi was fantastic. This is a great place to go for a birthday as it seems they really do a nice job. I have a severe shellfish allergy and one of our party had a gluten allergy and they were extremely accommodating to ensure our safety and also enjoyment. Good place to go. That's more local than other spots. And the ambiance inside was just made the whole experience more memorable.

My Family and I attended Izumi to celebrate my daughter's birthday- she loves Hibachi. We Didn't make reservations and was seated within 15 minutes of the time we arrived. Our chef James did a wonderful job and he had a great sense of humor. The food was delicious and the portions were great. The alcoholic beverages were good and my kids enjoyed the Strawberry and green apple flavored soda. We will definitely be back- one of thee best Hibachi grills we have visited.

I am so impressed by the staff at Izumi. I called to make sure they can make my food gluten free. They said yes, no problem. But when we got there they did not have any GF soy sauce. The manager immediately sent someone to the store to buy some. Then the food I had was so incredibly good. Everyone had a great time from the kids to the parents. We look forward to going back soon!

Very nice place to have a decent Hibachi meal. The abortion were big, and food was fresh. Nice atmosphere and fire show by the table chief. 4 stats because the food was grease and very oily, it would be much better with less oil and more spices.

Mother's Day Special combo menu.. "Harry the hibachi chef" - itamae (板前) was awesome and the food was delicious. Had a great experience last year, so we came back again this year!! Also - Aqeel the manager was pleasant and made sure the food and presentation was perfect... Thanks!

Akilll. Manager is awesome.. English, Spanish, Arabic, and anything else you speak. Aurora waitress cute lady from China works so hard to make sure you are happy.. even non. Hibachi.. the place is dated and needs upgrades but the service is next to none, it may take a moment for translation but they will make sure you are happy, like an Italian grandma

The food was pretty good. They give an insane amount of noodles, though I would have preferred more rice than noddles. I also ordered sushi (not pictured below), which was the best item! Also shrimp gayozas (not pictures) was great.

Authentic hibachi experience with a real fire show. The meat was of very high quality. The restaurant team was very enthusiastic and entertaining. Definitely will return back more in future.

Very nice Hibachi steak house. I’ve been twice and both times were nice. Nice atmosphere and the chefs are pretty friendly. When we went the second time I felt extremely rushed. We went late so I’m assuming they wanted to leave so it was a little hard to enjoy myself. The manager (I think) kept removing plates and things from the table before we were done. So just don’t go late if you want a really nice experience.

I had a really good time, went for a senior class trip, and it was my first time dining here. It was such a nice time, I had so much fun with my friends and classmates. Our chef was so sweet, friendly, and funny, too - it was Chef Blue <3! The staff was so kind and were patience with all our orders, and were supportive when a classmate of ours had a small panic. I would live to go again, it really was a happy time!

Average hibachi experience…chef was more subdued than I would have liked and seemed afraid to appropriately season the food.

Great time! First time going our son and his girlfriend go regularly. The food was great and allot of it. Jet Blue was a great cook and entertainer.

Skip the expensive hibach benihanas and come here, you'll enjoy the savings and have the same high caliber experience with good quality ingredients. A fantastic place for kids, if they like loud atmospheres, especially if they contribute to the noise!

Food was good. The enthusiasm of the chef was okay. Other tables seemed to have more fun. Had to remind them about our white rice. Overall had a good time. One side of the hibachi sits 9 people.

Very skeptical by surrounding area but this food is delicious. Frequent a few hibachi restaurants and this was better than most. The chef was friendly which makes the vibe pleasant. Unsure why gratuity was added for 2people. They missed out on a 20% tip vs the 15% they charged. If im in the area, I would consider coming back.
