The very best cheese steak subs in the state, bar none! The roll is perfect. The cheese is perfect. The beef is juicy and perfect. I've been coming to this joint since I was a kid. It never changes. Never had a bad meal here. They do have a "lunch meat sub" but I've never tried it. The beef is all I need. Highly recommend.

When traveling near the area, We always stop in and grab a steak hoagie! So good! The place is clean, the food comes out fast, the staff is nice, overall great experience~ You order at the counter, and the food comes out, you then find a seat. You can leave your trash at the table, they clean up. This place can be a busy at times but again, food comes out very fast! :)

They did not disappoint! I walked in for a take out and my food was ready, literally as fast as they could prepare it fresh! Service was fast and efficient and food was fantastic!!! Even after a 25 minute drive home! I hadn't been here for a while, having moved downriver, it was even better than I remembered. I will definitely be going back, it was worth the drive!

If you like off-road dinners this one is awesome. Being from Philly I have been surrounded by steak sandwiches. But this place does it right. It is simple but man I was not left wanting anything. Great bun, well seasoned meat, and the peppers, wow. If you are in the area stop by worth the trip.

1st time here, but I love onions & cheese, so my husband took me here! Great choice 👌 I ordered the Philly cheese xtra cheese! It was good, but Philly steak needs a lil seasoning. Great price.

Love this place. It is very simple and to the point. They make excellent cheese steak hoagies. It would be nice if they expanded the menu a bit to offer some onion rings or fries, but if it is going to take away from that perfect hoagie they serve, then leave things as they are!

You know the place is going to be good the moment you step in. This is one of those rare, no-frill restaurants that exists solely because of the quality of its food. There's very few customizations here because you're coming for what's in the name of the restaurant. The only drawback of this place was the mushrooms, if you pay for the add-on, they basically put steamed mushrooms on top of your hoagie whereas I would have preferred it chopped up and grilled with the meat itself. However that won't stop me for coming back for the quality and quantity of meat mixed with those delicious pickled peppers!

I seldom give the highest score. I'm a tough grader. But I probably should have here. One of those unpretentious , hole-in-the+wall places. The subs are terrific and have plenty of 🍖 meat on them. Service is typically pretty quick, possibly because, while there's usually a steady stream of business, it's not too busy at one time, maybe because it's not that complicated to make a sub, with the limited menu. Great place!!! (Don't go ---> it's quaint and busy enough already, lol.)

Gabriel's is an Ypsilanti staple. The cheese steak hoagies are always consistent and always good. Hot peppers 🌶️ on the side is a safe bet,they say hot for a reason. If you like a good lunch meat sandwich then you will be pleasantly surprised by the lunch meat special. Not everyone likes a cheese steak so it's nice to have a delicious option. The staff is great so it's hard to go wrong at this restaurant.

One of Ypsilanti's lil gems. Its unique and special smell and flavor is well known and much craved after as a local delicacy. It also has a poke stop! Lol

This place is well known for their Steak & Cheese sandwiches and for good reason! My wife and I love coming here to get a cheesesteak hoagie with their signature cherry peppers spread and then take 1 to go for lunch the next day. I love my sandwich with provolone cheese and mushrooms. Nothing but the best!

Been coming here since I was 10 years old. I have moved to Colorado and let me tell everyone Gabriel's has the best. Just wish they would do shipping because I would still buy their food. Tom L.

I went to Gabriel's and ORDERED BEFORE THEY CLOSED they're for I had already put my order in like 20 minutes before they closed and once I drive to pick up my food I ordered before they closed. they wouldn't answer they're door with my food on the counter and even noticed me but never came to the door to unlock it so I could pay for my food, I enjoy they're subs and I was even thinking about tipping for THE HOLIDAYS but I was treated like a animal and I wouldn't ever think about tipping them again.
