I
don't
go
to
the
ER
unless
I
have
ZERO
other
options.
For
example:
Thanksgiving.
I
think
if
there's
nurses
or
doçtors
that
are
moonlighting
(understaffed)
the
person
doing
so
should
listen
to
you.
The
ER
should
be
the
LAST
stop!
Nurses
are
not
doctors,
when
you
go
to
an
ER
you
expect
top
knotch
care.
Now
I
realize
98%
of
Durant
patients
there
that
day
I
think
were
there
just
to
hangout
in
the
lobby.
We
needed
an
antibiotic,.
considering
everything
was
going
to
be
closed
the
next
two
days
following
the
weekend.
My
daughter's
eyes
were
matted
shut.
I
told
them
she
had
been
on
a
steroid
the
week
prior
,
and
that
she
NEEDED
AN
ANTIBIOTIC,
no
no
no
she
doesn't,
Bailey
Buck
reassured
me.
(
I
asked
her
THREE
TIMES
ARE
YOU
SURE?!?!?)
I'm
frustrated
at
this
point,
no
one
wants
to
go
hangout
for
3
hours
in
an
ER,
or
maybe
they
do-
I'm
not
sure.
I
sure
as
heck
DO
NOT!
Well,
two
days
later
when
things
reopened
we
were
at
a
Dr
for
the
3rd
time,
lovely.
(I
love
running
my
insurance
3
times
in
1.5weeks)
But
I
finally
had
gotten
the
antibiotics
that
I
BEGGED
for.
All
of
this
would
have
been
avoided
and
she
would
have
been
better
if
nurse/Dr
whatever
she
was--
name
was,
Buck
would
have
listened
to
ME!
Listen
to
your
patient,
it's
highly
frustrating
you
have
BEG
for
an
antibiotic.
My
daughter
is
5
and
this
is
her
second
antibiotic,
EVER!
There
should
have
never
been
an
issue.
Thank
you,
for
a
miserable
sick
holiday.
