Love escape room challenges and this one has to be top of my list. Staff was very friendly, and super helpful in guiding/explaining the rules. Easily accessible location. From what I can tell, they are consistently changing the themes and introducing new challenges, which makes this a top place to come back to. We challenged the “trump tower escape” and it was a very fun one to attempt with our friends. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Great rooms that are challenging. You can set the difficulty depending on how much escape room you did. Very different from other escape rooms that we did. Nonlinear, that creates conversations for hours. The ambiance is really good. I remember we wanted to go do an escape room on a holiday Monday and most escape room are not open until night time. We just call them and they accommodated our request. Talk about good customer service. Everyone is really nice. And free post cards 😍 As for location, it helps build the mood for the theme that they have. Be sure to come early so you will have time to play boardgames and be oriented They always have a new room after a few months. The owner really thought of everything which we really appreciate. We will surely come back, that's for sure 😍

We did the Dick Dickerson room. I've done a lot of escape rooms previously and I feel that this is the most perfectly balanced one I have encountered. The puzzles are challenging and plentiful. What takes it to the next level is the sense of cohesion between puzzle and story. Every puzzle is anchored by context and this is further enforced by the presence of an actress in the room with you. She never dropped out of character and all the clues she delivered were within the logical realm of what her character would know. It was an extremely enjoyable and satisfying experience.

Escape Capers is one of the best escape rooms in town. Beautiful room design and very fun and challenging puzzles. I am blown away by the comprehensive thought put into the story - it leads to a great sense of accomplishment. Recently I was part of their challenge experience, a multi-room 2 hour competitive experience where our team was challenged with well over 10 puzzles across the entirety of the Escape Capers location. It was an incredible and unique experience and I highly recommend everyone check out this location.

Best escape room venue in Calgary! I would highly recommend checking Escape Capers out. I've been to all the other venues in the city and this is my favourite, hands down. The puzzles are non-linear and the rooms are hosted. The ambiance is fantastic, as is the decor. The puzzles are clever and challenging. You won't be disappointed!

Escape Capers has a 5 star rating for a reason. Clearly a fantastic experience that everyone should try. My group did the Dick Dickerson story last night. The quality of the room and the puzzles were great. Each puzzle was connected to the storyline we were working with and not a random collection. The puzzles in some cases were small and others required thinking very big. The host in the room was great, as she added to the story and gave slight hints as needed but never broke character or simply pointed to answers. I know that I will be back to try the rest for sure, and I'm looking forward to it already.

First experience here and it was a blast! Well put together, and extremely organized. Loved the fact there was a host with us that provided small clues, which helped. Definitely will come back again.

We got a chance to play 2 rooms (Creatures and Cocktail Party) this weekend, what a fun experience. Having hosted rooms is a bit unusual for us but we really enjoyed it! The staff are amazing, the puzzles well thought out and fun. There's even some little hidden jokes in the rooms! We will be back to do the other rooms for sure! Lots of care in details is present in experience :) Even the artwork and a children's story in the rooms were custom for the Capers. Very enjoyable from start to finish.

Escape Capers is a gem of an escape room. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Not only are their Mythical Creatures and Maxim's Cocktail Party rooms a blast with its puzzle design, but made incredibly unique by it's proactive in-room in-character actors. That added a lot to the experience. Both games gave us good laughs, and kept us excited throughout. This place is definitely five stars in my books!

We booked the Private Eye room for my boyfriend's birthday, and had a blast! Every single thing in the room was excellently designed and organized, and having a host with us also helped big time! They make sure that we never spend too much time on a dead end, but don't just give away answers either. Everything felt purposeful and the puzzles were varied and were well integrated into the room's theme and feel. All in all, our group was super impressed and we will be sure to come back and try the other two rooms! Thanks so much Escape Capers!

We just tried the holly jolly Lougheed Christmas escape experience over the weekend and we loved every minute of it! The venue was beautiful and while I imagine building a puzzle game into a protected heritage building is probably really challenging, they did an amazing job. Each of the amazing spaces was well used and really added richness to the immersive experience and story. The actors were amazing, I keep changing my mind about which one was my favourite. From the intro scene to each interaction, the script was both clever and hilarious. The puzzles themselves were equal parts clever and charming as well. While they weren’t as challenging as some I’ve seen, they still kept us busy for the entire night with several great “aha” moments, and their whimsical Christmas theming couldn’t have been more on point. I was also really impressed with the intricacy of the experience design and flow for the show. There were a ton of people doing things all over the house but we never had a puzzle given away and we never had to wait more than a minute or two for an actor interaction. This was truly a highlight of our Christmas break, can’t wait to see their next theatrical experience!

The best escape room I've been to in Calgary! The host did a great job and was very in character. The puzzles were fun and weren't just locks that you had to figure out the codes to - lots of brain games. Very well thought out, I'll definitely be going back!
