Here's an honest review of the most stressful hotel stay I've ever had. I was charged a 400$ security deposit on a 60$ room. This security deposit was taxed. I asked where this was a policy and did not recieve a straight answer. I was desperate for a hotel room as it was late and I had already booked it. She did not like me questioning why she wouldn't accept my credit card (standard visa, yes i took this up w the parent company they were appauled) and why I would instead have to pay a deposit. I received a call, waking me up, at 9 am to ask if I was still leaving at 11. This is not policy. That was insanely unprofessional. Upon checkout she charged a disabled man for using the handicap parking space. She found multiple charges to tact onto guests rooms upon them leaving. She then left reception when it became my turn for checkout. At close to 12 I found her and explained I needed to leave after being made to wait. She got quite upset stating she's too busy doing other things to check me out. I stated I needed to get to an appt. She then went to check my room. The coffee pot in my room was broken and had leaked. I was charged 70$ and only refunded about 300$ of my (taxed) security deposit. All in all, if you love getting ripped off/scammed.. if you love it when a budget establishment treats you like dirt.. this is the place to go.

TERRIBLE.EXPERIENCE. We stay in this motel two nights what we have experience was drastically terrible. The smell of room was disgusting we request non smoking room three months before on non refundable payment. Ceiling and wall was rotten, glass window never been clean on how many years we dont know. The floor inside the room was sticky as well as the hallway. There are broken chair in every door, broken window and broken door knob. The size of room of two terrible smell queen size bed was too small. I voted this motel most poor sanitized and poor service. If you looking for this motel think about it. I pay $226.0 CAD to this poor quality motel.

This hotel advertises at a low cost but will charge you for using the towels and linens. Right from check in we had difficulty with the receptionist, she had low patience for questions and because we had no credit card we had to pay a $400 deposit. First she said they didn’t accept debit for this transaction and even gave us an example of how it wouldn’t work on the debit machine, after going to the bank and withdrawing $400 cash she said they do not accept cash and that we would need to pay debit. After a confusing and frustrating interaction at reception we went to our room to find a small bedroom with a bathroom, very small and dingy, this room was infested with small bugs and had traps around the room hidden behind furniture. In the morning I called for extra towels and they told me I would have to pick them up in the basement of the building which I accessed from the outside of the building. At checkout they said they said they tried to remove makeup off the towels and failed, therefore will not refund the whole $400 and charged us $130.00 for the towels. I told them that if I’m paying $130 for towels then I want them & noticed when I received them that they were never even attempted to bleach the one spot of makeup on one of the towels, they were all dry! The most disheartening experience with a hotel either of us have experienced. I highly recommend not booking here.

If you like sleeping in fear of mice and cockroaches crawling on you, its the place for you. Or perhaps you want to wake up with a heavy cough due to dusty air con? Mouse traps everywhere. Shower didnt work. Mould on all the walls and ceilings. floor filthy. No outlets to charge devices. place was also a sweat box. holes in the walls for mice and bugs to crawls through. Staff refused to give us more than 3 towels even though there was 4 of us staying there. We paid 400 per night as it was stampede weekend and honestly i would have preferred to sleep on the streets. You could pay a homeless person 400 a night to stay here and they would still choose an alley way. We were then charged $67 upon checkout for damaged towels. Horrible, rotten, dirty hotel. Whoever owns and runs this place, there is a lovely seat in hell with your name on it.

Heads up!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! If there is a zero star, I would surely put zero star. Never book to this inn, waste of money. Room is not clean, air-condition is too loud, you don't have choices to move to another rooms. You can hear the voices next door. Hallways are so dirty. Again, rooms are very worst you can't even sleep properly due to smell and dusty. Don't get scam to cheap price, you deserve a better place that worth your money back!

If I could give a 0 rate star, I would. I regretted that I never read the reviews before booking. PLEASE READ and DO NOT stay in this place. If you are looking for a pleasant stay , this is Definitely NOT the place to stay. The room was awful, dirty and smelly. The bed sheets had stains on them and the walls and ceiling of the room were molded. We were so disgusted of this place that we didn't even used the washroom, we could touch anything just thinking on the dirtiness sensation. It was so bad that we checked-in very late that night, otherwise I'd rather lost that money and going somewhere else to look for a place to stay that night than staying there. I didn't even sleep that night to be aware of bugs out of my kids. For your health and sake of you and your love ones, DO NOT take chances staying in this place.

I've had great experiences throughout all my visits to different restaurants, hotels, shopping, etc. Very rarely do I ever experience something that isn't four stars and above. I recently booked a family member who was visiting Calgary into this motel. The rooms were clean, But so dated. But that wasn't really the problem. The issue was the owner who stood in the window. I'm sure from the time he got up in the morning to whenever he couldn't hold his eyes open at night. He stands in the window and watches everyone who comes and goes. And if you have a visitor who is there perhaps a little longer than they should have been, He will question you tell you what time they came and then what time they left and perhaps even charge you for an additional person. I'm not exaggerating by telling you he does not leave the window that overlooks the parking lot and the motel. I understand this is his establishment but also me or whomever that is renting the room for the night weekend week month. Whatever You do have a little bit of entitlement to to privacy. It is very very overbearing, rude and I think a total invasion of a person's privacy as to what time and who is coming and going. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! If I can give zero rating I will give it to this motel. The worst property I ever stayed at. I regret booking and staying in this motel. Not even worth a single cent. First and foremost, in the middle of the night, the AC just suddenly stopped working. My friend woke up sweating. When he got up to go to the bathroom, he passed out because the room was too hot. He fell on the floor and injured his legs. The motel charged us for the blood stain in the sheets after we checked out. When i emailed the property to reverse the charges, no one even bother to reply. The worst customer service! We didn’t have a pleasant stay at all. We didn’t get enough sleep. You can hear other guests walking on the hallway, banging the doors, you can hear them talking and even when flushing the toilet. Room is not clean. We found used tissue in the bathroom when we checked in. Will never stay in this property again.

Staff is really rude, especially the manager. She’s complete trash and nobody gets their deposit back. They claim they charge $45 a night but they tried to charge me $157 a night during May long weekend. Rates are always different depending on how much they think they can scam you out of. There’s black mold on the ceiling of the showers, rooms are disgusting, people are dying and overdosing on a regular basis. Police are there almost everyday and you just feel very unsafe. Someone tried to break into the room I was staying at. We found the window open and the lights turned on numerous times. Staff walks in on you without knocking when wearing no clothes. Just absolutely appalling. Do not stay here!! It was absolutely disgusting and smelled bad. Everything is falling apart. There was leftovers of some type of drug substance being cooked in the pots. They lie how there’s free breakfast included but that is indeed not the case.

This was the worst experience I have ever had a hotel. Please save your time and money and DO NOT stay here. The rooms were absolutely disgusting with stains on the bed, hairs and dirt all over the bathroom, a fan from the 60’s had 2 inches of dirt, dangerous wires sticking out of appliances, etc. We walked into the room for all of 5 minutes before returning to the desk to hand the key back. They would not issue a refund and gave us an email to message for a refund. After 4 days of emailing, still no response. Extremely unprofessional place. Dirty, dangerous and will rip you off.

Very poor customer service. Waste of money and time. Manager was so rude and the management needs to take action for her attitude and worst behavior towards the customer. We booked 2 rooms with 2 double bed we also show the booking confirmation and all . We came with family and children around 10.40pm and she made us waited for more than an hour. Finally she told me to book another room and they are not properly assist us to replace the room or upgrade the room. The room smells weird, dirt and not worth to stay over there. Even though we said we have children and we cannot let them stay in different room ,they forced us to book an another room after one hour wait . I request the management to take the action against the manager . We asked the manager name to the front desk, she said she can't provide the manager's name seriously why u guys not even provide the name of her. I would like to report to the head office as well. We spend more than 300$ it's not worth for this dirty and smelly room.

Staff was nice. No complaints about that.. If someone had to pay me to stay there I wouldn't. Mold was everywhere, in the bathroom, water, sheets. The rooms were supposed to be smoke free but everything smelled like tobaccos and mold. We left at 2 am that morning because couldn't stay there longer. Stay there if you want to be sick and introduced to toxic mold.

5 stars for the worst hotel stay i ever had! This place is a scam go else where 100% 1st got there charged me $450 for a damage then when I got to the room it wasn’t even cleaned for me yet! Then on Saturday when I got back to the place my door was wide open, thankfully I was smart enough to not leave anything in the room! Monday comes and I am checking out, the lady goes and looks over my room and decides to charge me $194.25 for 1 sheet and a mattress protector because they was a little blood on it! I have worked in the resort industry for 6 years and never have this been a thing with guest that stay at the location and I have dealt 1st hand with blood on sheets! I am absolutely disgusted and disturbed by this place!

The hotel was disgusting. When we arrived, our hotel room was extremely hot because the thermostat was broken. We also noticed mouse tracks in that room. After complaining to the front desk staff, she offered us another room that seemed okay. However, later on, we found some bugs on the side of the bed. We moved the bed and discovered even more bugs and another mouse track. All of this made us feel extremely uncomfortable, and the smell of the hotel was unbearable. We ended up packing our stuff and leaving the hotel at 2 a.m. in the morning. The price we paid was $86 a night, which is not I expected to pay for a room with mouse tracks and bugs everywhere. Don't waste your money on this experience

Oh, they took $50 off the damage deposit because they said I stained the towels. Absolutely no idea where they got that idea from. What a rip off. I called to dispute this and she told me to send an email. I never got a reply on any of my emails and they don’t answer my calls. They just took my money and ran. Unbelievably unprofessional. Thieves.

Good location. And really cheap, so you get what you pay for, the rooms are small the beds are old and broken, our room didn't have a plug for the tub, u don't have control of the heat and we weren't allowed to use the air conditioner since it is winter. And absolutely no sound proofing, I could hear conversations from other rooms very clearly. But i think what bothers me most is the fact they said we weren't permitted visitors. Definitely the textbook "no tell motel"

Hotel is disgusting and staff is incredibly hard to deal with. I know they have to abide by policy but the fact that they won’t even try to have a conversation with you is ridiculous. We didn’t even stay the night here we just left because upon check in we found mold, mysterious fluids on floor and desk, dirt and dust and other stuff in the AC units and fans, (my husband asthma was flaring up after 20 minutes of staying in the room) the window would slide open form the outside if you pushed on it even when locked so we couldn’t feel safe leaving our stuff alone if we went out. The coffee maker had mold and was dirty and the bed sheets were stained and smelt of smoke and body odour. We tried to talk to the lady but she refused to move us room without charging us and wouldn’t let us talk to the manager. Avoid here. The lady told us that the room was cleaned and that there was nothing they could do. (The one bed photo is sand that was between our sheets)

I had Jasmine as my front desk clerk when I stayed. This woman should not be working Customer service as she was the rudest, most condescending, unapologetic person I have ever encountered. She was no assistance when I would ask for help in the hotel room. I would not come back if I know she was still working here. Learn some manners Jasmine!

Zero STAR!!!! This is a scam!!! Don’t get attracted with the low room rates as you will end up paying for more after checking out. They ask for a $700 deposit for 2 rooms when all we paid for the room is only $379 in total. After few days of checking out, we got charged for $65 that was taken out from the golden deposit and could not even issue a receipt! They said it is for cc authorization or whatsoever! This was not communicated to us upon check in. STAY AWAY from this hotel, they are used to doing fraudulent acts. I HOPE THAT THE HIGHER MANAGEMENT FOR HOTELS IN ALBERTA gets informed about this so they can get BANNED!!! Read other reviews of this WORST hotel ever!!!!

We stayed here for a business trip, we were promised a good stay since we booked 8 rooms! There was a charge put through on our credit card after our stay and they couldn’t tell us why and they would not send me a receipt or refund the charge.I called and emailed with no response. It was probably the biggest booking they had in years. Very irresponsible business practice, I would not recommend using a credit card here or you will have fraudulent charges after. I was so disappointed after the fact to see they had done this, we were going to be going there for two more trips but not after that.

***Do not stay here*** Over 700 reviews and this place has 2 Stars for a reason. They charged me $50 extra after one night stay because “there were pink stains on the sheets”. We checked in at 10pm and checked out at 10am. The only stains on the sheets where the ones that were there already. The rooms are dark and dirty and are in desperate need of a deep clean. Absolutely rubbish and garbage. When I spoke to the staff all they said was clearly a template answer. I’m sure they pull this on almost every guest. If I could give this ratty infested mold pile zero stars I would.

Expensive prices for a poor room. It felt so dirty & old. Found a cockroach within the first few hours crawling on the bed. Killed it & took it straight to the office. Demanded a refund or different room. They said we brought in the roach. They have a sign posted about the best pest control. Too bad I couldn’t post the picture! Paid a 500 damage deposit for one night, got 400 back & left the room as it was! Disgusting place wouldn’t recommend staying here, luckily nothing ended up in our luggage because we quickly zipped everything up & put them up high!

SCAM I don’t care if you absolutely need a place to stay make you remember these tips. They will try to charge you for ANYTHING after you check out. They upsell the rooms and told me it’s $250 a night and I was forced to pay for it. After I checked out and left Calgary. But my card was charged $600!!! The workers will take random unsolicited pictures of you just hanging out on your balcony. The rooms are ABSOLUTELY disgusting as well and they clean it the bare minimum. TAKE PICTURES WHEN YOU CHECK IN AND OUT. DONT LET THEM TAKE YOUR CARD.

Honestly wouldn’t book here ever again. Terrible service. Also I’ve never in my life booked a hotel or motel where they charge you for staining a towel or towelettes with makeup stains. They charged me 36 dollars out my damage deposit because of makeup stains. And they didn’t tell me until the 5th day(our last) when they were coming to check the room. Honestly such a a scam. I’d never book here ever again.

The room had no air flow and smelled like stale cigarette and weed smoke. The room was disgusting. I’ve never seen such poor conditions. Then the lady at the front desk said all I had to do was call “Priceline” because that’s how I booked the room. I called Priceline, and they spoke to the front desk lady who said they will not refund my money. So they lied and did not follow their policy. She gave me the managers email, who has yet to respond. I would give 0 starts if it allowed me to. Lease don’t stay here.

Never seen a hotel with such unscrupulous owners. Hotel was in shambles, rooms were in serious need of renovation, few of the appliances work, just an absolutely awful experience. Walls are paper thin (you could hear EVERYTHING). They lure you in with the reasonable room prices (advertised at $50/night but ended up paying $100/ night with their added fees). After you check into the room, reality sets in and you can't help but wonder what they heck you got yourself into. Stay far away much better options out there.

The receptionist was very intimidating and irritating at the time of checking in. She forced me for a security deposit of 500 CAD which is ridiculous. Beware of the ATM machine there as well, it gives you a 100 CAD less each time you withdraw money from it. Can't say if it is some kind of nexus between the ATM company and the hotel. Rooms were satisfactory. Not much storage space. I would never again go here in my life. The Air conditioner sucks outside air ( people who smoke outside) gets into the room making it very difficult to breath in the room.

What can you say, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay in Calgary you are pretty limited in options. This place is pretty much 1/2 of what you'd pay elsewhere. I got my damage deposit back and the room was clean enough for an emergency stay. I brought my own pillow and sleeping bag so that might have made a difference. You get what you pay for, and the rooms are cheap, but definitely not the Ritz.

Think twice before you.walk into this dump. I rented a room with my husband and 5 year old son. As soon as I got to the room I checked the bedding. It was absolutely disgusting random hairs all in the sheets stains all over the mattress protector hair's on the pillow. I told the manager there. She came to check the room. You think they would offer me a new room that was clean. Nope, they didn't all they did was offer me a new pair of bed sheets to put on the bed how pathetic she asked me if I used the room why does that matter so if I used it mins after being there I didn't deserve a new room. Please save you're money and go rent a different hotel not worth the money such a dirty disgusting room not even clean!!!!.

Mice traps. Dirty rooms. Smells like a morgue. Honestly pay the extra money and go somewhere else. Booked with Priceline. The site made me pre pay the day of arrival. Then when I get there they have to charge my card again and refund the amount to my card tying up an extra $300 for 5 days. Plus had to leave another $100 deposit. Not like you can make the rooms worse. I regret staying here. Bed bugs. Mice. Then I get a notice to not trespass at 12 am in the morning the day after I left for no reason. Didn’t have any idea what’s going on. Called to find out and no answer. Never had a worst experience. Do not get a room unless u want to have bed bugs and the worst ever experience. Even the crack heads wont stay here.

DO NOT NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! Please read my full description, This is the Absolute WORST motel to stay at in all of Calgary. The worst one I’ve ever stayed at in my life. Don’t let the cheap daily rates fool you. It’s not worth $30 a night even. You are not aloud to have any outside appliances in the units. They will charge you $70 if you make your towels “too dirty” as well. If you try to book externally through other websites, they will scam and charge you an extra $40 per night to cover their own fees. Which makes absolutely no sense what so ever. Everybody gets charged differently nothing is the same. The place SMELLS SO BAD!!! They let drug addicts stay here, I’ve come across naked people laying in hallways, people smoke in non smoking rooms. This place is horrible I would recommend staying in a hostel before I would ever recommend staying here. I have been stuck here for over 4 hours trying to get my money back. Spent an hour on the phone with my bank just for the people at the front desk to argue with them and tell them no. This place deserves nothing more than 1 star I wouldn’t even give it half a star. Worst hospitality experience in my entire life. Please DO NOT STAY HERE . Literally anywhere else is better

absolutely the worst place to stay they lie about the room price ,add $30 every second night which they won't justify. I had issues with the cable box the first day I asked if they could come get it working nobody came till the next day then they took the TV which made no sense it wasn't the problem .when they turned on the TV they switched mine for the hole side of the screen was broken they then said I had broke it and left so I called the front desk she said to come down so I did then wouldn't let me back in my room saying I was kicked out for braking the TV which I didn't the kept $400 of my $500 deposit aswell as the second night I had paid for, oh and this was on Christmas eve. my lawyer will be talking with them

if I could put ZERO stars I would. This place is a DUMP! I actually had to leave in the middle of the night from my staycation because it was too hot and the AC wasn’t cooling, apparently they don’t run the AC From Oct to April. The window had no screen on it, and there is this smell that’s just gross. Oh and they deducted $57 from our deposit because food was accidentally spilled on the sheets. DONT STAY HERE.

SCAMM ARTISTS!!! THIS "HOTEL" SHOULD BE CONDEMNED!!! I was in the office yesterday. The woman told me that I was checking out today. I told her no. That I booked for 3 days. Then I booked for an additional day. Nothing else was said. I get to my room today. The key doesn't work. I go to the front desk to get my key re-swipped. She said I was to check out this morning. I told her, "No, I have 2 reservations. So, I am here till tomorrow." She said, "You still had to check out this morning. So, you will need to pay a $30 per hour late fee. You owe us $130.80." That is more than I paid for the entire weekend!!! She refused to let me into my room until I paid her. I LOST MY MIND!!!! This place is a dump. And, I told her so. I also said I will NEVER be back!!! It's been months since they mopped the floor. And, they didn't even clean my room yesterday. Stay away from this scumbag hotel. They are a rip off. No microwaves in the room. And, it is extremely worn out and dirty!!!! I wouldn't let my dog stay here!!!

TV is not working.. tho the staff tried her best but clearly she was not being trained how to troubleshoot a simple TV issue..they could have checked all the appliances if it's good because guest paid in full-service. At least, they have to make sure that the room is ready and all the amenities are working before putting it in the market. They can't even compensate about your bad stay they just simple No.. 😪🤦‍♀️

Checkin: September 5th @7:30 pm We have booked for 3 separate rooms for 6 people, a room for each couples. We were told that 1 room was cancelled due to credit card matter so they gave away the room. Our friend was using her prepaid visa and going to put funds in it when we get there since the online ads says "no prepayment needed". Then we realized that they've charged our credit cards even though we haven't check in yet. The receptionist was giving her a different available room but has to pay the difference. From $75 to $95, they chose to go somewhere else much more worth the price. The 4 of us stayed and finished our checkins because we can no longer cancel due to their 24-hour cancellation policy. We got our keys and went to our rooms. From the hallway, the walls and floors are in need of renovations. When we got in to our rooms (non-smoking); we've smelled heavy cigarette smoke, A/C blows unpleasant scent, bugs on the bed, black spots on the pillow case, yellowish stained sheets, creaking doors, dusty curtains and overall, the place is filthy. We went back to the front desk to ask for a refund because there's no way that we're staying. She tried to offer us a different rooms because they won't give us a refund. Both rooms are enough to know that other rooms are also disgusting. Despite of our complaints, the lady was very inconsiderate and rude. She said staff to check the rooms and look for the bug. The guy came in with a different bug in a cup (there could be more bugs that's hiding). He told us that it's just a grass bugs and harmless. I asked how it did get their and this guy answered that some other guests open the window to smoke so insects get in. We can't believe how unprofessional people that works there. She didn't let us speak to her manager and refused to give her name. She gave back our deposits but the hotel payment was charged even though we didn't stay that night. We didn't get our refund at all. This place is a total health hazard. Disregarding guests' health conditions under any circumstances. I wished we could've call the cops that night. P.S. They bought fake reviews here. I've checked RazrWirez Official profile that gave 5 star review a week ago. There's no way that the place went jungle in that time span. Pictures in there website could've been taken when it was new. Other guests that were there at the time we're complaining, also had issues with the receptionist and gave reviews in google but it's not posted. I guess they're trying to damage control.

They just provide one heater for the queen suite..!!! Yet the rooms were clean. Didn’t like the stay pretty much. But we got the great deal. And we didn’t check the reviews before we booked and they didn’t have any refund policy too. And I also found a roach was having swim in the coffee cup so we didn’t have any of their snacks provided in the room. TV didn’t work too. But the lady at reception was nice but overall experience was 2 star.

I don’t normally write reviews but this place needs one. They charged me an extra $25 for using a debit card even though I paid almost $500 for a hold. Not happy with a $65 room for $90. It smells really bad and doesn’t feel safe. The window didn’t lock and there was a constant water hammer knocking all night. I recommend staying somewhere else!

When I first arrived, there were already 2 police cars on scene. First room, checked the the mattress and there were a dead bed bugs. The sheets were also stained with mold and bugs. Complained and got transferred to another room. There were bugs on top of the sheet. Told the manager again and instead of doing anything, he told us we were now checked out and needed to leave the property. This is an extremely dirty motel. I wish I listened to the reviews I read, but instead took the chance. DO NOT GO HERE!

I needed a very cheap hotel because I'll be traveling by myself. I was too happy that I get a very good deal. Little did I know, cheap hotels has catch. When I entered the building, the building smell like weed. The room was alright not expecting a high end place, but it smell terrible. There was people fighting on the the other room. I tried calling reception multiple times but There was no answer. I know we want to save money, but risking your life in a place like this is not worth it.

Its an old motel.. which would be fine for an affordable stay if the rooms clean and properly maintained, and not run down. It Would be fine if management wasn't so shady, greedy and negligent. The place itself has potential for a decent budget inn if it was operated properly. The location is good. Rooms are decent size and would be just fine if better kept. Bottom line is that owners/management/staff are the problem here. Shame on who ever owns and runs this business...Do better!

This is the worst place. Public bathrooms are cleaner. And the service was unacceptable. Do not bring your family here. Or humans. Terrible.

called to get a room for my Kids and was overcharged the website said 150ish for rooms and was charged 479 for room and 500 deposit ..... the Kids asked for a receipt and they refused and we needed a receipt to give Westjet because of a cancelled flight . I called and received such a rude attitude. The kids asked why the room was so much more than the website and they said supply and demand because it was last room .. the lady knew the kids were stranded and we couldn't find a room because of all the evacuees from Yellowknife area and cancelled flights i will be reporting to BBB and maybe even the news because this was completely unfair and not ethical so disgusting to take advantage of people in distress

My husband and I stayed here and we booked a room with a kitchenette. They were kind enough to stock the room with cooking utensils. The room had a small bathroom a second bedroom and a very small vanity to wash your hands. It was a very unique stay and also I would have to say it is the “best value” for your money. Although they had sketchy customers who were coughing and smoking near my back window till the wee hours of the morning not to mention the neighborhood next to us were fighting loudly at like 4am. That of course is not the hotels fault for how their guests act I just though I would mention it because it was part of my experience.

Worse hotel i've ever seen. Be careful about your deposit, they don't hesitate to steal you if you do nothing. Nobody is skilled or showed any competence.

My friends and I stayed in this hotel for one night, and it charged me $525 from my credit card after 2 days. When I called the front desk, someone claimed that we smoked in the room, which was not true. When I asked for proof, they told me to contact the manager, but I didn't receive any feedback despite calling for 3 days. When my friend called again, they changed their story. They said that the pillow was burnt (????) and fire department arrived (which seems unlikely, as we would have noticed🫤). When we asked for proof again, they simply hung up the phone. I'm really upset about this situation and how people can be so unfair...☹️ So please be careful and just find another hotel!!!

This is great place to be and in the middle of town, so easily to connect to the rest of the city. All rooms are cleaned with awesome standards with reasonable deal. The gentleman called Jansin that served me is extremely impressive in service. He always have smile in his face with blissful experience.

I spent 5 nights at Canadas Best Value Inn Chinook Station and I have never stayed somewhere worse in my life. I would recommend paying the extra money to stay somewhere else. Our room was not cleaned until day 4, we had to ask for new towels ourselves. I asked for a new bed sheet at 11pm one night when we noticed our sheets were stained and I was told no by reception and I would not be able to get one until the next day. The fridge stopped working and we notified reception who said to try to unplug and try it again and it was never fixed after that. Our bed caved in to the middle where two people would just roll into one another - maintenance apparently changed the mattress but we had the same problem again. We had multiple disturbances by other people staying in the rooms next to us since the walls are paper thin, including the police coming to remove a drug affected individual in the room next to us.

I went there in December 2022 for a weekend. The bathroom door was busted, my internet was unplugged so I had to pull everything out to find the plug to plug it back in. The only available outlet was across the room from the bed that was too far for the charger I brought to reach. AND THERE WAS NO DAMN BREAKFAST!!!!! I specifically picked the place because it was cheap and offered a hot breakfast. I asked Saturday morning, "Hey, where do I get breakfast", "We don't do breakfast" "You very specifically advertise that you do breakfast" It pissed me off because I budgeted around having my breakfast there! Fortunately they didn't keep my deposit, never used anything besides the bed and toilet, didn't trust the shower. I'm still salty about no breakfast!!!!

Staff was friendly. The room smelled nice and was very clean. A great centralized area close to the train station and other places I could grab food. Each room has its own private internet connection which I have never seen in a motel. You can tell that they really care about their customers and use all of their resources available to make the experience the best possible. Great price too, cheapest I was able to find in Calgary on short notice and they were able to accomodate me for two nights. Next time I plan a trip to Calgary I will probably be booking a room here again.

Money HUNGERY MANAGEMENT. I was travelling from Toronto to calgary and called them for checking in, beacuse we were stuck in road closures. I paid in advance for 2 nights, they didn't give me room upon arrival and kept all my money and said we can’t check you in because you was not physically present. The manager- onsite , and rashika the receptionist-on phone behaved very rudely with me. I felt disgusted from the moment I enetered in office area.. It smelt like rotten eggs. I really don't recommend this disgusting place. They are thieves, and I walked away and donated my money to them. Because I don't want to ARGUE with fools.

Location and service was good. Beds were not comfortable. No hooks to hang the clothes in the bathroom which was very difficult but plus point was they have hand held bidet which you can't find elsewhere. Kitchen facility is availble. They need to pay attention there was no light in the entrance area for room number 116 which they said it has censor light but that was not working and it was completely dark and scary once you close the door and can't find your room unless use your mobile light.

Step back in time. I feel this was a population place in my younger years. Soft foam bed but supportive. Door to 223 was interesting yet we figured it out. A/C was amazing because we had a small room. Shower was tge best stream. Ironing board! Did not use;) This place was all we needed to rest and carrying on. Very good...no rugs:)

Excellent for travellers. This hotel is near a large local shopping centre and transit. The staff were very friendly and were able to book a room for me on short notice. It is also an amazing deal - for $44 a night it is definitely a steal. I will be returning on my next trip to Calgary!

There is no free breakfast. The rooms are very small with one bed. The hallway stinks. The check in is after 3 pm. There is small TV in the room. The rooms are also ugly.

So, initial price is great for the value. The deposit was insanely high. 400 dollars for 2 nights for me. Plus 24 dollars service fee because I paid by debit, which I thought was really strange. It's fine if you can afford a high deposit, but would probably recommend a slightly more expensive place that does a 150 deposit

ROOM was run down.. floor had damage, Bed sheets were ripped, Room was not done everyday. Run out of towels. Coffee machine not plugged in... had to move fridge to plug in//... Breakfast as stated on website was NOT THERE... If I did NOT prepay and it was NON refundable, then I would have left... DISPICLE/rundown rooms... Not what is shown on website

The one lady at the front counter was slow and not helpful. She wasn't able to help us directly and had to keep calling her manager. Our roomed smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke our throats were burning within the first few minutes of being in there. There was a cigarette burn hole and stains on the sheets. The hotel did not offer us another room, did not have staff to go check our room, and did not give us a refund for even 2 of the 3 nights we booked for.

Disgusting place to stay, absolutely will never go back. First night there you could hear ppl fighting down the hall with what sounded like a baby crying in distress, called front office and nothing was done. Found blood on one of the sheets so I placed on the floor assuming they would come change them. In the whole 6 days there they never come to clean my room. After I checked out a few days later they are charging my credit card for the blood on the sheets... fraudulent business practices, beware. Never going back there. That's for sure.

It goes to show you can’t take someone else’s words for it; see it for yourself and the world changes in front of your eyes. The reviews here are mostly negative and I wonder if it’s because good experiences are often overlooked. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities available and cleanliness of the room with kitchenette I stayed in. It was kept warm by electric baseboard heaters in every room, in addition to a space heater available, while the road noise takes some to get used to, the convenience is the trade off. It is a good idea to keep the windows locked when not in use for a peace of mind. I can’t comment on the friendliness of the staff as it was minimal interaction in my case. However the housekeeping crew I briefly encountered at the one end of the facility were friendly and welcoming. Oh I should mention there are several buildings on site and I would bet they each have their own character based on their service life and pricing tier. Sure there is always room for improvement like details in keeping hoodfan free of grease, soundproofing, cleanliness of mattresses box covers, upholstery of furniture and loose trim on selected cabinetry. The good water pressure, in room coffee, great location, competitive pricing, modern wifi and TV well overshadow the downfalls. Let me be a rebel and give this business a big thumbs up for a good job. May it be new improvement since the time of others review or it was my lucky day where my stars are lined up for my sake, perhaps more of you with good experiences were not reminded to write a few good words for this unique accommodation option on MacLoed Trail. I thank you for your time to read and to keep up the positivity in the world around us. Cheers

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night and by no means is it a 5 star hotel but overall it was a great stay! The lady at the front desk was very nice to us. The only thing that kind of sucked is we had to pay a refundable 350.00 deposit because neither of us have a credit card and that is on us not the hotel however it does seem a tad high as i have been to other hotels without a cc and it was about 150.00 deposit. The hotel room itself was in good condition kind of a smell to it. A few dings and cracks here and there. Parking is good and its in a wonderful location downtown or close to. Was about a 8 min uber drive to downtown. Overall, it is a great place if your spending the night and need something cheap. Thank you for the stay!

Okay place for the money. Was $80 with taxes. easy access to the saddledome which is why I was in town. The place is old, but it was clean. The room we were in is about 30 feet off macleod trail so if you don't like traffic noise this is probably not a good place for you, didn't bother me. Very small rooms, no extra space but if you're just there to sleep for the night didn't really matter. The double queen unit was in two separate bedrooms, so that was nice. Beds were ok. Tiny tv, 19"
