Great tacos. Go for the pork if you like it spicy and flavourful. Quite loaded with meat, so don't even think of folding and popping it in the mouth! Loved the texture provided by the pickled onion. A couple of tacos can abate an average eater's hunger but I am not sure if the pricing is quite average.

Really tasty generous tacos, the beef was especially good. Lots of different salsas to add as well. The lady working was really helpful with pairing sauces and that was appreciated! Pro tip - take that extra napkin, you're gunna need it.

Good service and great tacos located in first St market. The ratio of content to taco supercedes expectations. Made with quality and flavour in mind, moose and poncho does create a good taco. It most likely will get messy but worth the mess. The churros on the other hand seemed rather ok - a bit too doughy which made the crisp to it rather thick. Tacos are about $6.50 each and with 6 different options including vegetarian. Eating 2 can fill you up to a right spot. 3 is a good amount if you're hungry.

Great service from the staff for take out! After telling her it was our first time there, she took her time to let us know about the menu, the categories, and what everything was so we could make an informed decision. We did come on Cinco de Mayo, so a few of the things we wanted were unfortunately sold out already (birria tacos, horchata). The food was delicious (especially the Campechano!). The suadero was extremely salty but everyone who gave me feedback said it’s usually not that salty so hopefully it’s just a one off thing! I’ll definitely come back and try other food items

BEST TACOS IN CALGARY!! I absolutely love Moose and Poncho!! There are other good taco places in the city but this place is the best!! The Carnitas is probably my favorite. Also the Mango Pineapple Habanero salsa is amazing and a must try with the tacos!!! The staff is friendly and the service is great! Highly recommended!

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Mexican food in a Canadian food court. These tacos are legitimately good. The price for a taco seems high until you see how much meat is piled on.

Amazing tacos in Calgary! We thought the price was fair for the amount of meat you get, it was $6.50 per taco at the time. We got the pork and birria which were both amazing and the broth they give us to dip it in was amazing as well. Looking forward to coming back.

Everything about this place is so extra! I love the kitchen area, so unique. I took some pudding home for my daughter and they packed it up so cutesy! I will look forward to having a full meal soon, my friend and I just dropped in for a quick expresso martini. It was flawlessly prepared by a friendly and experienced bartender. Thank you!

Tried Moose and Poncho today. We were very pleased with the tacos we tried. The lady working the cash was very helpful in helping us choose and we’ll come back to try something new off the menu!

A great hole in the wall Mexican restaurant in Chinatown. I visited this place a few days ago after seeing it on Instagram. The food was great and the service was awesome. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to eat authentic Mexican food.

Delicious food and the portions are very much "American". The nachos and guacamole are excellent, the tacos with pork are delicious and the salsas and other toppings are just right. This is located inside the First Street market and the area with tables is perfect. I truly enjoyed it.

Aaaaaaahhhhhh-MAZING!! Located in a food court. Quick and easy and cheap mouth heaven. These guys have many flavors of meat and salsa and veggie options too. Slow cooked meat. Braised beef taco comes with a delicious meat jus shooter too lol see pic There’s other food options in the food court and also a bar. They still have such great food here, I hope they still plan to open an independent restaurant rather than being in a food court. That being said it's still in quite a nice place and is not your average food court. Tacos are absolutely loaded so grab a fork to eat off enough that you can close it haha. Service was very friendly to explain the menu and food was delivered in a timely manner.

The flavor is great. The food is a bit on the pricier side. However, they definitely load up the tacos and tostadas with meat/whatever topping you choose. I would say the amount of meat they add is equivalent to two street tacos AND the flavor is 💯. Worth it.

Great tacos. Loved the nopales, birria, and hongos. Super friendly staff and the salsas are delicious. They are on the pricey side, but then it’s Calgary and everything is outrageously expensive.

Miguel the owner is a wonderful man, and these tacos are always on my mind since i’ve had them. I got the braised beef taco with pineapple mango habanero salsa and it was SO FLAVOURFUL! such great fresh products that are all collected locally. you can tell everything is made with love 💛

Portion is generous, braised beef is spicy and flavourful. The restaurant is located in a fancy food court. For 6$ a taco, it might not be the cheapest but I think it worth the price. Highly recommend!

The tortillas that the tacos come on are small but they give you extra which is good because they come so heavily loaded that you can make 2 from 1. The food is delicious I just don't understand why they don't just make you 2 with the amount of meat they put on it. Either way, it's delicious food at a reasonable price for the quality. The market is fantastic and it's such a convenient location downtown. Will definitely return.

I was looking for a real Mexican taco place, then I found the Moose and Poncho and I am so happy because everything taste like real Mexico! I love it ❤️ I will be back for sure! I hope I can get horchata the next time 🥹😍
