I loved it here! It was my first time attending MetroPolish17 and I was absolutely blown away! The staff were super polite and very friendly. My nail technician today did an amazing job! I will definitely be returning, 12/10

Wow! What an amazing experience! Everyone who works here is so kind, professional and helpful. They went above and beyond to make getting my nails for my wedding a memorable and fun experience! wanted to love this salon but I feel like I did not feel valued as a customer when having an issue. They also up charge for almost anything - I get it’s their salon and prices but I feel it’s wrong when it seems it’s only about money. My nails started chipping around day 8 or 9 but I left it alone, now day 11 it is quite bad. I did call and let them know and they said since it’s past 7 days if I want them fixed I’d have to pay 35 dollars. They did honour me 25% off but that is beside the point. When I did get these done she only did 2 coats and I could still see under so I asked for another and she said no it’s supposed to be like that. I don’t know if it’s because of this or because they were not cured right. This shouldn’t be at my expense. The way I was talked to on the phone the manager almost made me feel it was my fault because I did not let them know sooner - sorry I was going to just leave it and not bother you guys but now when it looks this bad I feel it was necessary to call in.

Exceptional service and outstanding customer care! This was my very first visit and I now have the nicest nails I've ever had! Kudos to the amazing technicians and staff. I will definitely be going back as a regular client. Very impressed!

Such an amazingly run business. Cleanliness isn’t even a question here, it is sparkling. ALL of the staff at MetroPolish are amazing. The work I’ve gotten done is something I’ve never experienced. No more chunky uneven nails for me. The service is amazing and it definitely feels like all of the staff very much so enjoy what they do. Even though I listened to a customer complained for half visit. It didn’t bother me because of how the manager was properly handing the situation. Besides that I will definitely being coming back here whenever I need a new set or fill it’s 100% worth it.

Beautiful and lively interior with a million colours to choose from. Consistently speedy service for new set and fills with French design. The owner is so kind and references everyone by name while making sure everyone’s beverages are topped up. My nail tech, Kim, had great communication and was very patient with my twitchy hands. Very reasonably priced with stellar monthly deals! Love love love!

I had a terrible experience at this nail salon in Calgary. They were very unprofessional, hurt my nails, and gave me the wrong shape. Despite showing them a before and after picture, they blamed me for the issues. I booked for my wedding two weeks ago, specifically requesting a skilled technician due to a previous bad experience, but they failed to deliver. I'm extremely disappointed—don't waste your money here. See pictures with the extra gel polish I had to peel off my skin, which hurts, and the places where they hurt me.

It was so nice to have a hot towel and hot stone and an amazing massage with my pedicure when its -36 windchill outside. Truly luxurious and so so worth it. They were super accommodating too! I called at 1pm and they got me in 30 minutes later! Highly recommended :)

I’ve seen Trissy 4 or 5 times now and she never disappoints! She always makes sure I’m happy and will ask with every step! She’s so talented too! The staff are so friendly and I love coming here once a month to relax for an hour! Xoxo

I have been getting my nails done here every month for the past 2 years. The overall service is always good, but will differ a bit depending on the technician. Sometimes the language barrier gets in the way of my requests or the technician has a certain way of doing nails which I do not personally prefer. Mostly everything is 100%. The choices on their drink menu makes every visit complete, with only alcoholic drinks being charged.

It's only my second time getting acrylics done but the staff were very polite and helped me when I had questions. They catered to my want for sorter than usual acrylics which I appreciated! My latte was delicious too I wish I had more time to finish it but my nail tech, Ken, was so fast and very skilled so time flew by very quick!

I would highly recommend getting your nails done here. I have been here a couple times and the quality of work is amazing. This establishment was very professional and clean. My nail tech did an excellent job at communicating and giving great suggestions on what I should get.

My daughter and I tried this place out today for the first time and really enjoyed our experience. They do a really good job of making sure clients are comfortable and well taken care of, they are friendly and chatty/encouraging. There are partitians up still, and all staff were wearing masks. Everything was very hygienic. They work quickly but still end up with perfect results and great nail art. We are super pleased with how smooth and positive the experience was and our nails look great! For two manicures and gel polish with nail art with 25% tip it came to $125.00. I think we found our new favorite nail salon!

This is truly the best nail salon in Calgary! Their customer service is unmatched. Every nail artist in the salon is impeccable at their craft; my nails have never been healthier or looked better. They’re so understanding as well; my mother is a high functioning autistic woman and they’re always so supportive with helping her get a shape that works for her. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

First time visit. I called the day of to book an appointment and they happily obliged me. The vibe in the shop was bustling and cheerful. The receptionist offered complimentary beverages while I waited (only a few minutes). Everything was organized and there was no communication issues. I was given a friendly greeting from my nail tech (sadly I never got her name) and she helped me bring my coffee over. She listened carefully to my needs and I showed her a picture of a design I was hoping to get. She was extremely kind and gentle. I couldn’t have asked for more. Someone, who I believed to be the owner, came by and we had a lovely chat. I will definitely be recommending this place to clients, friends and family. Thank you MetroPolish 17!

Clean and fancy place. The prices are reasonable compared to other places located in downtown. The esteticians are fast but do a through job. Parking might be a bit tricky considering it's on 17 Ave. They also have a drink menu from coffee to water to alcohol beverages.

Wonderful and relaxing experience for my first time gold mani-pedi at Metro 17. Atmosphere was fun, nice decor, very clean, and great massage chairs. One thing that stood out were Metro 17 staff: super friendly and skilled technicians. The place was full of happy customers. In addition to complementary drinks, they serve alcoholic beverages. Enjoyed my mimosa and bailey's coffee! I definitely will be back. Thank you ladies for a great experience.

What an amazing nail salon! Upon my initial booking, I walked out not loving my nails. I take full responsibility for not voicing my concerns, but sometimes it’s embarrassing to feel like you’re being picky. My initial experience was lovely and my nails were executed well, it just wasn’t what I had in mind. I had voiced this to MetroPolish and they immediately wanted to rectify how I was feeling! I booked in to have them redone and it was complimentary! Everyone was so kind, accommodating and willing to help me! I really appreciate their efforts and kindness in all of this! What a wonderful salon with wonderful people!

My go to nail place in the city! Amber and Bella are amazing nail techs and always do such an incredible job. The salon has so many polishes and powders to choose from, I love the variety and how they stay on trends of new colours and techniques. The place is always clean and plays just for laughs and I always leave with beautiful nails. They also serve alcohol for those days you just need a glass of wine. I’ll see you in a couple weeks for a fill!

From the moment my daughter and I walked in the door for a girls day, the staff have been especially warm, welcoming and gone over and above to make sure that all of our needs were not only taken care of but also that we felt welcome and at home! Our manicures were first and our nail techs were beyond friendly, patient, communicative and fun, not to mention excelled beyond all expectation in their crafting of top notch nails for the both of us. Both techs obviously were incredibly talented and were deeply invested in the perfection of their work. Next, we moved onto pedicures where we were treated similarly amazingly kind with fun and entertaining conversation and like one of the family they were happy to take care of. The staff went over and above to ensure all our needs were exceeded and I haven’t been this impressed with a nail salon since 2006. Tara is an incredible presence in the salon, and is a welcome force in customer service and retention. I could go on and on, but I will finish with, Give this wonderful, beautiful and welcoming salon a chance to prove their craft and commitment to customer service and make you a lifelong customer!

Absolutely loved my gel polish manicure from this salon! I just wanted some blue and a frosty look and that is exactly what I got! It was a special nail appt as I had an inkling that my spouse was going to propose and he did! The nails really helped make my new engagement ring shine! I didn’t get the name of the lady who did my nails, but she was so sweet and added sparkle to the frost which I wasn’t expecting, but I love it! I’m a huge glitter fan. Very clean salon, love their check in process. Very quick and affordable for sure! I will be coming back whenever I need nail services and hoping to bring my bridesmaids here! Thank you for helping add to a wonderful new years weekend!

I gave it 2 stars because the nail tech that I was assigned rushed my shellac manicure and found that they did a bit of a sloppy job. When I rub my nails, I feel an uneven layer so I went to check my nails under the UV light and found that their work was not thorough. The sides of my nails are left out and only the top view of my nails are covered with polish. There are areas of my nails where nail polish wasn't even applied and some with visible layers of the gel polish but are not covered by the top coat. I'm quite disappointed because this was highly recommended by a friend who is a regular and the craftmanship does not reflect the price. Maybe this is a one off thing but I'm really disappointed by the end product. However, the customer service and hospitality is super welcoming though. The place is clean and I appreciate that their tools are autoclaved for each customer.

I have had the best experience at this nail salon, I had Trinh do my nails today and she is a superstar! She took her time and paid lots of attention to detail. She is also such a sweetheart! This place is always so clean and there cappuccinos are delicious. Definitely my favourite nail salon in the city!

Chloe is exceptional. She is always willing to be creative with what I have in mind and takes her time to make sure it is done perfectly. It is nice to be greeted and the staff remember you by your name and what your preferences are; that in itself goes a long way.
