This place is more than just a pizza place. If you are able to sit and chat with the owner of the place, youre in for an experience of laughs and and the feeling like family! He and his family working create incredible "edible art" as I call it, beautiful and tasty! Youre going in on full flavour, no matter what you pick! Everything on the pizza is placed there with intent, so changing anything on the pizza itself may ruin the whole vibe he intended for. Just as a forewarning though, I will say picky eaters will have a hard time finding something, this is a true Italian experience, not the americanized pizza you find elsewhere. I highly recommend everyone tries this place, at least once!!

Mafiosa pizza was awesome!! This is a small, local beautiful place owned by a wonderful couple who cook delicious. 🤤 We ordered the Greek salad 🥗 as well and it was good too.

Excellent local pizzeria. Pizza was ready for takeout within 10 minutes of calling in. Pizza is thin crust with premium ingredient combinations. I ordered the Signora Gaga and Mafiosa and both pies were exceptional. This local business also feeds the less fortunate. Worth supporting.

I love cozy places and this was the one I've been looking for. Perfect pizza (I tried signora gaga) and very very kind owner family. The gifted me a cookie at the end. Definitely worth a try and more :)

Nice, calm place for pizza with different taste. Tried a pizza with feta cheese and Potato slice. It was unique taste and aroma. Also tried Garden veg pizza and liked this a lot. Almond pastry was also yummy. Nice place to visit.

Really enjoyable experience. Combination of laid back atmosphere, good energy and good food make this a great time. The pizza was different but still good. The owner had a great energy and worked the room. Make sure to ask him about his art , book and his story. Try the New Yorker!

Unreal. The owners are super sweet. If you walk in at the right time you may catch the wife playing piano. Cool art. Great crust. Super reasonable prices. The perfect amount of toppings. Its just such a hidden gem that I am so grateful to have as my neighborhood pizza spot.

It's really nice. No matter the great pizza and the kindly owner. I told him that i will go back and am trying to enjoy the different foods. At last, he gave me a coconut snack. The experience here make me feel lots of warm and happy.

Pizzeria Gaga is a wonderful local restaurant. That I highly suggest give it a try. with their delicious fresh made made pizzas, calzones and more leaving you wanting to come back for more.

Very friendly warm welcome. Quaint pizzeria featuring local art work inside. Also sells delicious looking chocolate. I ordered the Roma pizza (mozza, pepperoni, green pepper, onion,) and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Incredible pizza! Tops in Calgary for sure. Great pizza at reasonable prices, with amazing service. I have never been to a small pizzeria with the service I've gotten here. Before sitting down to eat, our table was cleaned off, and we were asked if we needed anything else. The taste of the pizza alone is enough to get me to come back, but the service was even better. The pizza is super thin crust with cheese that stretches as you pull each slice out. I'd compare it to New York style pizza.

Another surprise is they have a small section of European goodies for sale... Austrian chocolate, Greek pickles, Serbian waffles...etc...all reasonably priced. We've been here a few days ago and had an awesome dinner. The owners were super friendly and warmhearted. We had a great conversation with them but also a very delicious dinner. The pizza is fantastic and freshly baked in the oven. The ingredients were fresh and every pizza we had tasted really good. We definitely recommend this place! Best wishes from the German people who didn't find the German money on the wall 😉

This place is AMAZING. My husband loves (like it’s his fav food) pizza and he has yet to find another pizza better than the Garden Pizza here. Granted we haven’t been to Italy or whatever yet but between all the places we’ve tried in Calgary and California. Gaga wins it all. The owners are also just the sweetest and kindest. Since my husband has been coming here for years, when I went with him and they found out we got married they gave us our order on the house. For real, support this place before you go to a chain.

The thin crust pizza is thin but not dry, and doesn't get wet in the middle and lose its holding power. Flavours are excellent.

Loved the variety of specialty pizzas, fresh quality toppings and all at a reasonable price. We sampled 6 different menu items and enjoyed them all. Staff was very friendly, funny and helpful. Cant wait to bring my family back, highly recommend if you love pizza and pastry!

Phenomenal pizza. Owned by two phenomenal owners, this is THE pizza place of Calgary. When you try it you’ll understand. The prices rival big franchises whereas you can actually pronounce the ingredients that you have on pizza at this place. By far my favourite pizza joint and I’ll be sure to go again. If you want a taste of home and actual authentic pizza, come to this place and bless your tastebuds with an experience you’ll drool thinking about again.

Truly a hidden gem. The atmosphere is so warm and friendly, and the owners really do care about their customers. The ingredients were fresh and the dough was made the same day, so it was as fresh as possible. I also 100% recommend the Sweet Pizza they have, it has Nutella, shredded coconut, and banana slices. I plan to come here again 😁

Cozy little pizzeria with great authentic food for very reasonable prices. I initially went in to check it out because of the name as my friend loves Lady Gaga, but it turned out that their food is more than enough of a reason to go there. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Unique pizzas, family run business. This is our regular takeout pizza place. We've tried most of the pizzas so far and love them all, if you're looking for something new to try, this is the place. Quality ingredients and crazy fast turnaround when you call to order. Can't recommend strongly enough!

We decided to try Gaga Pizzeria today for lunch,based on the awesome reviews on Google,Trip Advisor and FB. I'd say one of the best thin crust pizza's in this city. We had parked at Riley Park and decided to walk to the location. We ordered the Mafioso 14". Excellent toppings. Crisp crust, homemade tomato paste,cappicola and garlic. The owner's were very nice and both asked how the pizza tasted and thanked us for trying their resturant. I can see why they get so many great reviews. 👍

Was in town for a weekend and so lucky to be staying right behind this place. Absolutely amazing pizza. Thin crust with the right balance of crisp and chew. Really tasty sauce and bright ingredients. Will be back here every time I'm in Calgary. I would 5 star this place even if the owners were nasty, but they were so kind and friendly. I can't think of a better way to run a pizza place. I was glad to visit this place! The lady greeted me with broad smile on her face, explained thoroughly what's on the menu, brought food for me and cutlery when I was just sitting down and waiting for my order to get ready. The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded my expectations! The pizza tasted absolutely authentic Italian style and incredibly delicious. I ordered personal pizza (which had 4 slices) and I was absolutely full after 2 slices. The size is very filling. My place to grab pizza in Calgary . This place has some of the pizza I’ve had in Calgary. We got Mafioso and Signora Gaga. It was clear from the first bite that they used high quality ingredients. The crust was light and crispy and the sauce had perfect acidity and wasn’t too sweet. The owners were also really nice and even gave us 2 cookies on the house. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back.

This pizzeria is owned by a super sweet (former) Yugoslavian couple. The chef was at sait culinary school for over a decade and it shows in her amazing savoy creations. The pizzeria has fantastic artwork made by one of the couple’s son and a collection of money from countries all across the world. The husband was so nice and friendly and i am definitely coming back and bringing my friends with me! 10/10 would recommend.

Definitely the best in Calgary, going through and reading the 1 star reviews has shown me how little food culture Calgary really has… unless you’re not from here you apparently can’t taste anything, as someone who’s been to Italy this is authentic and true, everything tastes great and the flavours are put together incredibly well, the owner is a true Italian and an absolute legend of pizza creation. I’ll always support this business as it’s true and real and passionate from the heart!!

Our family love this place, even my nephews and nieces enjoy their pizzas here. The children really enjoy the taste. The generous toppings and thin pizza crust--I really love them! They have a wide selection of pizza that anyone will surely enjoy like us. Plus the servers are very nice and friendly, they know how to entertain their customers.

Kids love having their pizza from here. They love the variety of flavors that they can choose from and the generous toppings. Orders are cooked as ordered so they definitely are served hot and fresh. We can taste the ingredients and not just the crust which is the case in other type of pizza these days. Thin crust so we can definitely enjoy all of the pizza without any leftovers. I absolutely loved the pizza! The owner is an absolute delight and they also have a sign that says they give people food even if they don’t have money. The pizza itself was also really good and we finished 2 pizzas in a maximum of 10 minutes. So. Good. I would give them a 10/5 if possible!

Wow, surprised at all the good reviews on this place. Crust had to have been previously frozen. Margherita was pretty bland, hard to taste the basil (maybe dried basil?) and a bit too much cheese. Signora Gaga was just ok, good to see some different toppings on a pizza (figs), but i didnt see any bocconcini and it just didn't meet expectations. If you enjoy Dr. Oetkers frozen pizza, this will be in your lane. If you like authentic pizza, handmade dough, wood-fired clay ovens etc, let this one pass you by. There are significantly better options in the city, some in the same neighbourhood, selling at a similar price. I'd agree with the other comments that the staff were nice and friendly, and its good to support a local business but know what you're getting.

We just ordered from here for the first time and will definitely be back. The thin crust is great and the toppings are perfect. Too many places overload the cheese and toppings. The balance here is great. You will quickly fall in love with this couple! Do not be turned away by the small place-- go in and try the pizza!

I have not words to describe the EXCELLENT Pizza, burek and pastry. An exceptional service that makes you feel home (does not matter your background, nationality) as far as you want to experience amazing tasteful food. I wish I had photos of my favourite pizzas there. Be ready to order a pizza accompanying a cheese or meat burek (must try).

This is my #1 pizza in the city that you don't have to order in advance. I really don't love the crust, I very much prefer a thin crust pizza but the edges are kind of hard and not the most flavourful - but the ingredients and flavour is fantastic, super consistent and well priced. The owners are always (like ALWAYS) in a good mood when I go in, and they advertise free food for those that can't afford it. The kind of place I really like to support - especially when the quality is that good

An excellent selection of pizzas and the owners are fantastic people. I tried the Mafiosa and Roma pizzas and they were amazing. They had a steady stream of customers calling and dropping in while I waited for my pizzas so I'm obviously not the only person who likes this place! I'm glad I was introduced to this pizzaria and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Great pizza, very friendly owner, and awesome selection of some Eastern European treats and imported foods.

The pizzas aren't too salty - it's perfect. Totally worth the experience if you've been eating chain-restaurant pizza. Price is fair. Portion sizes aren't too bad; don't expect anything grandiose. Unfortunately, parking is sort of tricky unless you're visiting on Sunday. I'd visit again with friends.

I literally ate here maybe five minutes ago and had to write a review right away. Their pizza is inexpensive and delicious. Even better than the pizza are the owners who are so sweet and kind. They spoke to customers in a such a genuine way, and always asked us how it was and we were doing. As well, there were two homeless people who came to ask if they had any pizza left over to give, and the owner told them he would bring some out right away, and began making a fresh pizza for them. Plus their decor is so fun, and the walls are filled with pictures of the owners and their friends, which adds such a homey vibe. Please stop here, some of the best pizza we’ve had!!!
