There are a couple of stones in the kebab. Restaurant was not clean, even some flies are roaming on the food and even our table. People are not friendly as they denied more comfortable sitting. Restaurant floor was dirty. I hope my review will help to make their service good.

Our party of four visited over the weekend. Everything we ordered was delicious. The lamb fell off the bone, the chicken was tender. Service was attentive. Serving portions were just right for the price. The bread was a bit dry and flavorless and the Turkish coffees were just served in massive to-go cups. These are minor details, but worth noting if you're considering adding these items to your order. They might be due for a deep cleaning , but everything was tidy and certainly nothing felt gross. Atmosphere was pleasant. Great location. Metered Street parking available or a quick walk from a metered lot. We will definitely be visiting again!

My partner and I picked up some food here last night on our way through St. Louis. The pickup process was easy but there was limited parking so plan ahead if that's you're preferred method. The food itself was DELICIOUS. We picked up the lamb biryani, mixed grill and some apps. My partner completely finished the lamb biryani and was very impressed. I had the mixed grill and each bite I took was so full of flavor. I wasn't as impressed with the hummus but I have pretty high hummus standards. 😁 Still very good! We loved the eggplant in the mid eastern feast for 2 appetizer. Ate it with everything! The pita bread was outstanding- we're pretty sure it's made in house and had a good chew and fluff. I would recommend this place to folks who visit or live here!

Absolutely amazing! One of the best restaurants in St Louis! Got the samosas and chicken curry and they tasted fantastic. Soaked the rice with the green sauce that came with the samosas because it was so good. Only feedback is that you must tip in cash for it to actually go to waiter. Adding tip via card goes directly to the owner. Our waiters were incredible so I hope that this changes so that the added tip goes to our waiters!

Very authentic afghan food. Delicious boolani and the muntoo is extremely tasty! The server was kind and courteous. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom was rather small and out of paper towels the whole night. I will definitely be going there again!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Saint Louis, I love it so much that I go at least once a week. I recommend the chicken tikka masala or SLU special if you’re craving red meat because it does come with a kebab! This is a small family owned restaurant, not very fancy inside but the food is amazing! It’s always fresh, tender and authentic. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the food from Sameem. I can all the way from New Jersey and was surprised to find Halal restaurants in St.Louis. All of their items were amazing and the Mantoo was on point. I would definitely recommend this place to other people.

This review is for the Kolkata based bengalis in US: This biriyani is the closest match to our Kolkata biriyani in terms of aroma and flavor. The mutton is also just like our Kolkata biriyani's mutton. This one tastes even better than Aladin's (LA) biriyani but the negative points are: 1. It does not come with our favorite alu (potato) 2. It has green peas and cheakpeas in the rice. 3. They serve this with a Naan and a potato curry (I asked them not to add those...) Their rice pudding tastes somewhat like our firni...❤ Anyway, another good reason for me to like St.Louis...

We traveled from Peoria to this restaurant; it was well worth the trip. The Emperor Platter that my spouse ordered was delicious! Every bite of it was flavorful. My current favorite cuisine is Afghani food 😉! A special thank you to the people working there, who were really helpful and courteous. If you're craving fantastic meals, guys, visit this eatery.

Very informal place with Interiors and washrooms not too clean. The place is not very shiny or tidy. It looks like a hood. At least I won’t go with my date. However, the food was good. They served the food in disposable plates and cutleries. While eating my fork broke! Thanks God, I didn’t eat the plastic. I ordered grilled chicken afgani. It came with rice ( buttered?) and a tiny slice of nan, and some aloo- matar ( a spicy curry with potato and peas). The man was not very good. I think that’s not made in house, rather store brought ( bulk pita/ Naan from big groceries). My friends ordered spicy ground beef kabobs,, aka kubideh. That was the best. Overall, the food was filling, and pretty decent, especially the kubideh kabab.

Even if you don't care for fried appetizers, you should think about getting the Bolani. The Bolani is the perfect mix between a crab rangoon and a hashbrown-yet is brought up another notch by the delicious green chili chutney Take green Tabasco but make it thick and add some earthy spices and you've got the chutney It's delicious The Aash is an amazing soup - speckled with savory saturated fats, it's well worth the price at only 4 bucks a bowl The kabob combination meal, I do have to say, is a little lacking - A bit too much rice, and a little too little butter chicken. The kebab served with it is very flavorful, though. This restaurant does appetizers right- perfect samplers of a greater cuisine

I ordered for Thanksgiving...I wanted something completely nontraditional. I was so pleased and fulfilled, I ordered seconds the next day. I ordered vegetarian pasta. It was spicy just enough and very satisfying.

Loved this place and would definitely go back! I got the curry chicken and rice and naan. The chicken was tender and super flavorful. We were served fast and our plates were the perfect portion. The staff was very friendly.

My girlfriend works across the street and we absolutely love this place. When you first enter, you don’t feel like you’re entering some show and I look at restaurants like that as they care more about the food and boy my assumptions are right. The food is absolutely fantastic! We always get the same waiter, and he is extremely knowledgeable and welcoming.

The food was an A+! Even the plain rice was outstanding. We had butter chicken and chicken broast. Extremely satisfied. Wow. The chicken was so tender. Very impressed. The chicken pulao with carrots and raisins was great. The staff were so attentive. One tiny request on the butter chicken is just put a little less salt and it will be 11 out of 10. One more tiny constructive criticism: though the upstairs main dining room is already nice, please consider some soft glowing lighting and/or candle-type lighting, maybe flowers. Just think about the atmosphere being a little more clean and warm and inviting. But I do plan to come back here every time I visit St. Louis. Loved your delicious meals and so proud to see such an excellent halal restaurant. Thanks so much for an enjoyable night out with my husband!

First time eating Afghan food. I was quite impressed with how flavorful the food was. Definitely will eat there again. Only downsides were Basmati rice, which I didn't care for, and the Naan bread was sub par.

Qukuli Briyani in st. louis, amazing. It was nice afgan style briyani. I ffound the food is super good and delecious. I would recommend this place if you like indian/afagan briynai. I found the meat is tender and awsome fluffy rice. I would recommend this place to everbody.

We ordered Afghan chicken biriyani, combo platter and mango lassi. The Afghan biriyani was below average. However, you should try their combo platter and mango lassi. Highly recommended!

The doogh (ayran) was priced $2.5 on the menu, but they charged us $4. That's not a big deal, but things should be priced correctly on the menu. Amazing food with several vegetarian options. Some vegan dishes too! The restaurant food is good and even their catering is fantastic!! Strongly recommended, especially since there aren't too many Afghan restaurants in the area.

The Koobedah smells and tastes so terrible today. It looks like that is not fresh today. The chicken was burnt completely. Second time it happened to me! Disgusting and disappointing!!

A gem of a restaurant in The Grove. Delicious food, friendly staff. I recommend any of their soups and also their Emperor Platter.
