**This account is dedicated to honest review and feedback.** Been a customer for years at this location, every time , I've NEVER been greeted or acknowledged as a customers. Truly disappointing. Not sure what qualifies a customer to get treated well. As a observer, common theme is the ethic background of the customers and how they are treated. Last time I visited was 2 weeks ago, was in the store for 20 minutes, not acknowledgement, only interaction was a employee asking me to move so they could hang up clothing. When a white lady walked in, ALL employees greeted and welcomed, coincidence? If this occurs during my next visit, I think it might be a good idea to reach out to my POV social groups to test if this is the norm.

Don’t waste your time coming here I went in this morning looking for an item (I checked before hand to see if they had it in store) when I asked a sales associate for help she was nice and tried to do the best she could but when she asked another sales associate for help she had the expression of “I really don’t want to be here” and walked away. Later on at check out the cashiers fought over who would take care of us because they were so busy standing around pretending to hang things. I also had some rewards points cause I shop at express often and same girl as earlier didn’t have the capability of pressing buttons to add the discount.

As a business owner myself, I hope that the Express brand/store and other Victoria gardens stores steer clear of employees like Ashley at this Express store. I too know of the payroll/fatigue struggles you encounter during thanksgiving week but there is a business to run, payroll to paid, and employees to make happy and businesses need to be aware of who is representing them as well as hindering their sales. I walked in at 640pm to hear an employee later known as Ashley say, "welcome, just so you know we are closing in 20 minutes." Okay, thanks for the warning so I can look for a coat quicker. It only rubbed me the wrong way bc I already knew I was pressed for time and the music was off as well and the warning wasn't friendly but rushed. I usually shop 95% online now but I dared to shop online in person today so I didn't have to return and rebuy online. I found a few cute additional items but was reminded repeatedly (10 plus times) of my winding down time as she reminded others of of their (and my) remaining time. It was really unnecessary and condescending. Into my 20 minutes, one of her associates said to her something about how "you told them" regarding some other customer she shooed away and we actually heard Ashley reply, "I'm not playing" confirming she didn't care and wanted to close right at 7pm under no circumstances. I didn't say anything but was kinda shocked. I think Ashley forgot she had already told me they were closing soon earlier when she saw me again and told me they "were closing the registers in seven minutes." I replied that I knew they were closing soon bc she told me a few minutes ago. She said, "well that's my job" instead of saying "okay, let me know how I can help." At that point, I just got my sizes for the two coats I wanted so I could just order online because I was certainly no longer going to purchase from this store. I asked Ashley to let me out because she locked the doors before they were even closed. Lol. I was hesitant to include Ashley's name but I was reminded of how abrasive she was and honestly it falls in line with other reviews that have been shared here. I plan to call corporate tomorrow to let them know how this associate/possible manager (?) is running their customers away.

9/15/23 Update: it’s been a year. Am assuming location is now established. Would suggest calling to confirm current location. LOCATION CHANGE. The address listed is currently closed until fall according to the sign posted on their door BUT if you walk down a block or two, you will find their temporary location. Left corner opposite side of H&M. I had an online purchase to return. The return process was quick and easy. There was no line which is always great. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the staff members attitude. She was not friendly or welcoming at all. Dry attitude to be working in retail. Other than that the other employee was great. Service was good. And as far as clothing selection goes ..if you are petite you are better off ordering online. There are more options online.

I never shopped in store, only online. Didn't know the culture of the store was a business casual Hollister. Came in to return. One cashier ignored me while another looked at me and rolled his eyes. Third cashier took pity on me and helped me out. While being helped the other two cashiers openly made fun of a young customer who came in. I honestly don't know how people regularly shop here.

I've always loved shopping at Express. This time I really didn't find any good prices. I don't know if they raised the prices on everything but I believe they have so this time around I did not buy anything.

Great coupons if you're a member of their shopping program clothes does last a long time

My Girlfriend's Online Order was canceled online due to items being out of stock. Came to the Victoria Gardens location and they helped me find ALL 6 OF THE ITEMS! They had them in the store and made sure I left happy. Leo and Elena were AMAZING HELP!

I like their clothes, but if you are looking for short jeans, they only have those available online; unless someone returned some in store. This was for my visit to Express in Victoria Gardens.

Honestly, the place is more for people that are skinny. I'm fat, I'll admit it. I got a $200 gift card to this place, not only did this place make me feel fatter but not worth $140. A body suit and a dress. Materials are not even that great. Pretty pathetic, over priced for these items.

Editor pant has been downgraded. I used to love Editor pant from Express, wide waste band no weird belt loops, straight fit. Super comfortable, super stylish. Now the Editor stlye has changed to a small waiste band and belt loops. Now, it's too much like their other style

The store is located in Victoria garden next to Coffee Bean shop. I normally go shopping during holiday season with great discount. Otherwise there are other brands around them such as Zara, A&F, etc and they have more competitive price. Otherwise their location is good, store is bright with great staging.
