After transferring from ELAC I did almost 3 years at CSULA and I got my Bachelor of Science. I got help whenever I needed from faculty, financial aid and other resources inside the campus. I was able to met great friends and professors too. There is always activities to do inside the campus, every semester they do orientations for new students, often you get emails regarding anything related to our education and campus. I really had a great time when I was student here and now I'm planning to come back to get my Masters degree.

Very poor program and I agree with the others that its a far left school that essentially hates and professors (some) insult conservatives. Teaches you victim mentality and more identity politics. No free speech. And only offer 2/8 classes listed on their catalog all with left wing politics intertwined. Good luck graduating. The only star this deserves is for the few professors good at their job and are good people.

Cal State LA offers so many interesting courses and I've had really great professors that care about my success. There are so many resources available on campus that allow you to get involved in the community and in your career.

I transferred from LACC to this University to pursue my BS in Mechanical Engineering and It has been a great experience so far. Most of professor are caring and really good at the subject they teach. In addition, most of professors do not force you to buy the books listed for the class, instead they give you options to access the material. They have many resources to help students succeed. For instance, they are letting students borrow Ipads for the length of their carreers. They also let us borrow laptops and even hot spots. Furthermore, it is like any other University, if you want to succeed and graduate, you have to work hard 🀷🏾. In conclusion, it is a great school that is also affordable.

Expected so much more from Cal State LA. However, there are not as many classes available, had to take Saturday classes because there were no online options or options during the week for those that work, the people at the cashiers office are highly disrespectful, housing does not assist when needed, and the campus itself is located in a bad neighborhood. There have been multiple shootings while I have attended/lived here. If you are considering other cal states choose those before Cal State LA….There is no social life at this school. The food courts close at 4-5pm and several cars have been broken into. By far my worst choice I could have made was to attend this school. I feel like they do not care about their students. Sucks because I heard so many good things about Cal State Long Beach Dominguez Hills and chose this school thinking it would be similar, but has turned out to be the opposite.

Hello everyone! I transferred from LA CC to this university for a bachelor's degree in history. I heard that the teachers are all normal and the materials can be used and studied through the Module. I hope there are real professionals who know their business. I wish you all success!

Very fortunate to attend this campus after transferring from SMC in 2020 during the COVID-19 shutdown. But was able to go in person 100% in the spring of 2022 and graduated the next spring πŸŽ“πŸŽ“ very cool professors in the art department and was able to get my BA in Studio Arts. Truly amazing and definitely coming back for my master's degree

The most far left and radicalized university I have ever had the misfortune of attending. Noone deserves to be treated badly simply for being a conservative. If you are center-right, politically speaking, and believe that we should have a secure border and limited government, then CSULA is not the place for you. This place as a whole can be summed up as following: Race, Gender, BLM and an entrenched victim mentality. Please go anywhere else if you can.

CSULA is a well-respected and reputable university in California, offering a wide range of academic programs and opportunities for students. CSULA has a diverse and inclusive campus community, providing students with a supportive learning environment. The university is known for its strong faculty, dedicated staff, and commitment to student success. I went for the orientation program, I wouldn't say I had fun fun but it was okay, the lunch needs a lot of work, they need to be inclusion in their diet, I mean gluten free, non GMO, vegan and more as many people have different allergies. The orientation program at Cal State LA is mandatory for all new students both transfer and international students. The program covers a variety of topics, including academic advising, financial aid, student life, and campus resources. The orientation program is also a great opportunity to meet other new students and learn about the university. The program is comprehensive and covers a wide range of topics. The orientation leaders are friendly and helpful. There are opportunities to meet other new students and learn about the university.

Met 1 of the worst professors I have ever met. Sadly, she was teaching ethics and yet, was the most unethical person ever. By the way, she was a professor in the masters program. Thanks to that, I have talked some people out of attending that school.

I just went here and got my J&J vaccine. It was easy and in and out basically while still following the protocol. Everyone was nice and helpful. Ideal if anything pertaining to this can be called ideal. I'm thankful for those working this sight trying to help as many as they can be o.k. It has been some year and change now, I imagine that most of us are in a version of "shell shock" from this all and all forever different in our own ways. I just can't wait to hug somebody! I hope that most of us are looking forward to something like that, it means that there is still hope for us if we all have a similar desire...at least in my mind. And I am now a step closer to being able to get those hugs!!!

It's a nice campus overall, but a bit scary at night. They're aren't enough security patrol or emergency call buttons on the parking lots and it is a very open campus.

The vaccination site here was way beyond expectations! Well organized, friendly folks running things with kindness and patience! I saved an hour wait by doing my appt as a walk up instead of a drive up. I felt great about the entire experience 😌 So grateful!

This an ok place but not a lot of white people. I like seeing and learning beside whites because they made this city and country great thats why everyone and i mean everyone wants to be here. The sad thing though is actually things have been going down hill since every thing has to be diverse and woke.

Went for a graduation and the school looked very nice from what I can see. I wasn't in any building or anything but from the outside and driving around the area it seems like an upkept school.
