Found another gem today in Yucaipa! Acocotli Mexican Restaurant, I was so excited to try a new place that I never ate at before. As usual I tried their Chile Verde Burrito I always try the Chile Verde Burrito at any Mexican Restaurant that offers them, and I wasn’t disappointed! It was so delicious and flavorful. We also had the Machaca Burrito which was also very tasty and flavorful. Need an good ole authentic Mexican dining experience try Acocotli Mexican Restaurant in Yucaipa.

The food was delicious, the staff friendly. It's counter service if you choose to stay and sit, but it was very popular with lots of to go orders coming through.

The online order was ready fast! The service was friendly, and accurate. The food was fresh and hot. Delicious! Everything was very homemade.

Really great fresh hot food. Very nice staff and very clean place. I got 2 ground beef hard shell tacos. Mmm, so good. The salsa is bomb. Perfection. So glad I stopped. Give it a try if your ever in the area. You'll be happy you did. The beans and rice are delicious 😋.

Love this place! So warm and friendly, EXCELLENT service, and such delicious food! I am really picky about the cleanliness and quality or restaurants I eat, and this one always impresses! The prices can't be beat, especially for the level of quality and ssrvice!The owners are so kind, I cannot praise this place enough.

1st time there, excellent food, music is low (which we can hear each other when we talk/some restaurants are too loud), service is good, but the only thing they need is RESTAURANT PLATES/REGULAR PLATES not to serve us in a to go plate. Salsa with chips were delicious, but I need my chips in a plate not in a bag (specially if i eat there).

I came in and ordered a bean rice and cheese to go. Well, I got home and started eating my burrito to find only rice and cheese. Which sucks because I feel like beans are kinda the most important part of a BEAN rice and cheese burrito. I think they ran out of beans and just tried to pass off the rice and cheese thinking maybe I wouldn't notice? I wish they would have just informed me they were out of beans so I could have just gotten a refund or ordered something else. Pretty shady business practice. Definitely don't recommend this place.

Food is great and fresh every time. The service is always great. My family loves this place. It’s a family owned restaurant with small town hospitality.

We stopped by from out of town. Hands down the best place to stop and eat. The Garbage burrito is SOOO GOOD! The albondigas were excellent! The music and service are on point. Highly recommend!! Reasonable prices too.

We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is delicious, the customer service is outstanding. The fish and shrimp tacos are my favorite but everything we try is amazing. Albondigas soup is perfection-especially for a rainy day!

Virginia, Fernando and all the other staff are great. The food is far superior than Jose’s and other Mexican Resturaunt in Redlands or Yucaipa. My wife and I love the place, great food great people!

OMG best chips! We had shrimp tacos, Chile verde, and shredded beef enchiladas…everything was on point! Great, friendly service. Food was phenomenal. Would posts pics, but there’s nothing left😬

Chicken fajita is awesome. Food is always fresh. The place is super clean and really friendly and nice people work there. Love the atmosphere.

New favorite Mexican food? Possibly... They do some good stuff here. We had a wet burrito and multiple tacos. All were delicious. Their format is oriented towards to go service, so even if you order to eat in, it's packed in a to-go container with plastic disposable cutlery. Not a big deal, just be aware of it. Complimentary chips and salsa with orders is perfect as I hate it when Mexican restaurants don't throw that in. It's not a rule or anything, but it sure is nice! Closed on Tuesdays, so no taco Tuesday here! Pro tip: Order a burrito with the supreme upgrade and you get a wet burrito but also a side of rice and beans. Easy to split amongst two people, maybe with an extra taco or so.

This is a very popular Mexican food restaurant in upper Yucaipa. It's next to the Fire Station on Bryant in the small business building next door. ( West from Stater Brothers store). Plan on spending a little time, for the food is fresh and lovingly prepared. I enjoy the Christian music played and clean interior, with some wonderful salsa as you come in and sit down. A single bathroom in the back is large enough for handicapped wheel chairs or a stroller for a Mom. It's a big win for me and my friends.

Good but not great. Service was good and prices are ok. It's worth trying out. The salsa was excellent but the guac was a let down and frankly over priced for the quantity. I prefer spicier Mexican food or at least a fusion of flavors. And we'll this is just "run of the mill" but that could just be preference. I'll probably try them again sometime and eat there as sometimes getting carryout really kills the flavor.

We had shredded beef crispy tacos. They were really good and tasty we also tried the cheese enchiladas. It was good but the sauce was too concentrated. It's not the worst but it's not the best. LA Paloma in Claremont is the best. The rice and beans were surprisingly good enough. We plan on returning to try the other dishes. They served chips in a bag with salsa in a container. They had no plates. We liked the ice machine. They have coke products and we like Pepsi.

The service was good and friendly! They experienced a bit of a rush and let customers know they would be with them shortly - keeping their word by hustling. The food was excellent, not over done or served sloppily. Lots of flavor and would definitely go back.

WOW! What a great place! Nothing fancy, but large portions, of great food at a reasonable price! Always very clean and the owner and staff are outstanding! You always see a smile on Virginia, Fernando, the cooks, young Virginia and Lilly. No waiting, whether it's take out, or on site dining! You always feel welcome here! We have sent so many people to Acocotli, and haven't heard anything but "Thank you", from those we've sent! I certainly hope you will support this family owned restaurant, and tell them that Jim and Joanie sent you! It's REALLY good"! I am even celebrating my birthday there today! Amazing food. Taco salad and super nachos were amazing. My kids even downed their food without complaint, raving about how good the nachos were. And their salsa is honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. They're so friendly too. One of the best Mexican restaurants around in my opinion.
