An excellent concept well executed. It's a brewhall atmosphere with excellent food and a nice variety of craft brew beers on tap. And they have wait staff who come to your table and take your order, a declining perk in this age of "food truck" style ordering. This is our new favorite place in Fargo and we WILL be back!

Nice selection of taps. I had Bavarian pretzels. They were excellent and the dipping sauces were the best I've had anywhere. We full time RV and visit breweries in every town, so best ever for me means a lot! Hubby had a glazed ham sandwich which he also said was excellent.

I chose the rabbit/rattlesnake brat and it had a great flavor. The bun was a little tough on the outside, but maybe that's just the way it is supposed to be. The sweet potato fries are definitely worth the $1.00 upcharge. So tasty.

This. Freaking. Place. Everything we had here was absolutely amazing. If I lived in the area, you couldn't keep me away! The pretzels were the absolute best any of us had ever had in our whole lives!

Wow that is some good food! I tried the knoephla soup which was delicious. I also had the poutine and asked if they could put some sliced brat on it, which they did. Absolutely fantastic! I sat at the bar, and the service was top notch! My server was very friendly and helpful. If you're in downtown Fargo, this is definitely worth stopping in.

Pierogi here are delicious, borscht is not the best, but considering that it is way too rare to find it anywhere in the US, it doesn’t matter. Knoephla is okay, it is a weird soup though. The place is really nice and stylish, very atmospheric. The employees are friendly and attentive. Buffalo cheddar sausage was pretty good.

1 - the vibe is great 2- the food is amazing 3 - the service is okay Beautiful spot with a great atmosphere! I order a couple drinks along with the German brat with classic toppings with a side of sweet potato fries and beer cheese. The brat was perfect, French bread amazing, fries perfectly seasoned and cooked. The service wasn't bad but could have been better. At the time I went, it was not busy but the bartenders/servers were hard to come by. Aside from that, it was overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone in Fargo wanting some quality food and great beer!

The weirdest salad I've ever seen. What you see is what you get; 3 microscopic pieces of hardboiled egg, 3 gargantuan slices of tomato, 3 slices of cucumber, some lettuce, and an UNCUT SPRING ONION sitting on top. It's embarrassing as all the ingredients are fresh, however it feels like a baboon has slapped this thing together without any thought or care. The only redeeming thing about the experience was that the waitress was amazing. Couldn't have asked for better service or nicer smile.

Excellent and authentic German food. Several imports on tap as well as many great local brews. I was very excited to see borscht soup on the menu. The borscht came with plenty of dill and sour cream like they serve in Moscow.

As I enter the low lit schene in downtown Fargo, we approach the wurst bier hall. The industrial environment with oak wood accents echoes glimpses of the pagan origins of Germany’s wicca past. The steel beams and chain link fence personify the power and industrial nature of the German people. I felt as though I was able to feast through the timeline of the Germanic people. Meat, beer, and kraut. Mmm

Best pretzel I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried my fair share 🤪) I usually don’t like the dipping cheese but this was good. Honey mustard was yummy. Our waitress was so friendly and personable. Would come back to Fargo just to visit here again. Also if you’ve never had a “mead”- it’s a must. So light and refreshing- it’s a cross between wine and cider. Sooooo good.

This place is alright. We were looking for something different. The menu was simple while still having a lot of options. We a got pretzels, which they didn't say how many came, so we ordered an extra, which gave us 4. Sweet potatoes were a huge portion and were good. My only complaint is that the menu had one price but we were charged differently. Like the appetizers were each $1 more the listed price and the spetzel/sausage was .25 cents more. Not a huge deal but there really should be accurate prices on the menu

Amazing atmosphere, food and friendly service. I highly recommend the schnitzel.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't crazy busy, which we were very thankful for as we found most places in Fargo get really packed with people from out of town on the weekends. I ordered a strawberry/peach sour, when the server brought it over I took a sip and it was pure salt water. I gagged and was horrified at the taste. When our server came back, I politely told him it was disgusting and asked if that was suppose to taste like saltwater. He was confused and right away said he'd get me a new one. He left and then came back 5 minutes later and profusely apologized for the error. Apparently the bartender had not flushed out the saline solution and that was what was poured for me. Ick. He gave me a new glass of the sour and it was quite delicious. The food overall was really good. We started with Bavarian pretzels and they were hot and soft; our entrees were the Jaeger Schnitzel and Porketta sandwich. The schnitzel was was slightly over cooked but still flavorful and the cabbage was some of the best we've ever had. The porketta was flavorful, juicy and tender. It would have been a 5 if not for the saline incident but I'm glad that means they're keeping everything clean!

Who ever heard of a flight of bacon? A flight of beer sure, but a flight of bacon? I have. Fun place to unwind and try some good beer and german food. Not fancy but tasty none the less.

First time to the restaurant. We were walked through the menu from the waitress who actually sat down at the table and graciously answered our questions. The service was very good! They have a variety of different meat sausages to try with choice of sides. I noticed their flights of sausages on the appetizer section of the menu, but passed as I was not that hungry. They also have a flight of bacon paired with beers that looked tempting also. I ended up with the Buffalo sausage and it was very good! It was served in a French roll that was perfect! Very reasonable prices! I recommend this place if you have not tried it yet!

We were a group of 9 and the service was amazing. You can test 4 beers at once for free, and then test 4 more😀 Great beer selections. The sausage platters were very good. But the HUGE baked pretzels were the best we have ever had. Would definitely recommend.

This place was a total vibe and our waitress was the best! The food was amazing.. we literally ordered a little bit of everything and I definitely will be back when I am traveling to Fargo again! I’m a believer in the marshmallow fluff now.. SO GOOD with the giant pretzel, a must try!

Got the Exotic Pheasant sausage, and when it came out, the sausage was maybe 4 inches long. About 1 1/2 inches of bun with nothing on each side. Taste was good, but very disappointed with the size of the meal for the cost. $16 could go a long ways to get sausages from an actual meat store. Will consider other places to eat. Very disappointing.

So I was between a four star and three star post and tipped the tie to four stars since I can’t give a 3.5. 4 star qualities: The atmosphere is great, nice to come in and sit down wherever. They are quick to serve as well. Service is second to none, they are quick, food came out within 5-10 minute, was hot and fresh, no complaints there. Beer- fantastic list and price point Value and quality- the amount of food you get for the price can’t really be beat. Food taste- this is where I give them three stars, except for the pretzels for the appetizer. The pierogis were frozen, not homemade, and their fusion spin on a lot of the food leaves much to be desired. The schnitzel was not good, it’s deep fried to the point where the flavor profile is the hot oil remnants trying to work their way out and the kraut was not good. The sauce on top was dried out. I think I’d go with a burger or sausages next time. Not authentic German but still, that’s my only gripe. Had I known that going it, it would have been a brat and burger and beer day with pretzels.

Great food. Great service. The rabbit and Rattlesnake schnitzel was very good. Only ordered it because it seemed like an extreme combination of otherwise unusual protein but I have to say it was totally awesome!

One of my top 3 places to eat in Fargo. Go there often when I'm downtown. You can't get more authentic German unless you drive 250 miles. It's the best.

I absolutely love this place. I got the elk wurst and my girlfriend got poutine and both were packed full of flavor and left us feeling full. They have a great variety of beers on tap and even a few ciders, which I appreciated. Friendly staff, bustling atmosphere but still easy to have a conversation. Overall a great experience and we will be back again.

Consistently good food and polite servers. They have some fun drinks on the menu outside of their beer selection. Make sure to ask for a cocktail menu! I have always been happy with the food - it's always hot and comes out in a reasonable amount of time, no matter how busy the restaurant is. I WISH they would bring back their cauliflower wings though - they were amazing!

After my first visit here I wasn’t originally going to write a review, but once I visited again and it was just as fantastic as the first time, I decided to finally give Wurst Bier some much deserved recognition. Don’t be fooled by the name- they serve far from the “wurst” items.. more like the “bierst” German food and tap drinks. Ha, I tried really hard there so please just appreciate the effort. There are two Wurst Biers- this downtown location and one in West Fargo. I believe this is the original location, and it’s way freaking cooler than the WF one anyways so come to this one for the full experience. It’s just got such a cool vibe and it’s different in each room depending where you sit (or outside!). Okay, so real talk. You can’t go wrong with any of their appetizers, and their bavarian pretzels are absolutely TO DIE FOR. Yep, you read right- their pretzels are incredible. They’re about the size of your face and come with cheese and marshmallow dipping, and are heaven in your mouth. The food here is just fantastic- heavy, as it is German food, but fantastic nonetheless. And they have a lot of good alcohol options to pair them with. There’s even a bacon & beer flight where you have 4 types of bacon and specialty beers to wash down each bacon with. Tons of fun!

Loved everything we ate here! The spatzele Mac and cheese was awesome. Loved the cheese sauce with the hint of acid from the white wine. Wursts were great. Our fav was the Philly cheesesteak. Wish we had gone with a bigger group so we could have tried more things!

We got the poutine, pretzels, jagerschnitzel with knoephla and cabbage, and sausage flight. All of it was amazing! The schnitzel was perfectly crispy and the mushroom gravy on everything was delicious. The bahn mi style sausage roll was our favorite of that flight. Both the appetizers were amazing as well, but I think the pretzels won out as a favorite (just barely!) Great beer selection as well, with LOTS on tap. Had 90s music videos playing on the TVs, very friendly and inclusive LGBT vibes from staff and customers which we didn’t expect but really appreciated! Felt right at home I’m a city we’d never been to. Took a minute to grab our waiter for the check but it was a busy Friday night so totally understandable. Can’t wait to return and try the rest of the menu!

Service was quick and friendly. Large selection of local and national brews. Food was absolutely delicious and the shredded is nice a big.
