The tour is an absolute must for coffee lovers. Our guide was incredibly hilarious and kept the group focused and engaged. The tour offers coffee sampling and tasting of differing coffees grown all over Costa Rica. Also at different toasts and brewing techniques. The guide kept the group engaged by showing and explaining with actual coffee plants and different stages. Also asking questions directly to different group members. I took my parents (elders) and the guide was always welcoming to their comments and questions. I already recommended it to several people since I got out

We took the Coffee Lovers’ Experience. Our tour guide took all the necessary precautions where we had sanitizers and only 4-people tour groups. There is enough space to spread out during the tour. The tour was very interactive where we got to try various coffee samples from different parts of Costa Rica. We learned about the history, ecology, tasting, and roasting methods. The roasting “lab session” was definitely my favorite part, and we stayed engaged with chocolates for answering the questions correctly. We left the gift store with 6 bags of coffee and 3 packages of chocolate!

We had a great tour here. The guide gave the presentation in Spanish and English with lots of fun details along the way. Very engaging. There’s also a Butterfly Garden and a restaurant on site. Worth it! Check their schedule before going as tours are done in schedules.

Our guide was super funny and engaging. I learned a lot and I loved the interactive portions of the tour (making coffee for everyone with different tools) and also seeing the plants themselves. Great value as well. At the end you can buy coffee and ship it back to the US as well which is super convenient! Some small extras are a butterfly garden where we saw four butterflies in less than two minutes and a few goats chilling nearby. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Great coffee tour and facilities. You can buy great souvenirs and have a delicious meal in one day. Prices are a little bit too high but it is worth it.

We decided to do a last minute coffee tour. It was initially confusing, there was no one at the ticket booth and we had to walk around to find a person to sell us a ticket. The place itself is very nice, green and lush, clean. Our Guide, Luis was really friendly and knowledgeable! We definitely recommend the tour!

Muy exelente. The perfect place to relax, walk, have lunch, and buy souvenirs. It's a beautiful hidden gem in the city that shares the process of making coffee. There are tons of plants, birds and butterflies.

The tour is good and the guide is so humor to describe about coffee. They're very happy to take photo with you. Expect majority speak in Spanish, with English available to explain at least the coffee. Feel some hard time to enjoy the food there, and I miss the coffee hope i could get a cup of latte there. Britt shop availble with the lowest price i saw during my trips is highly recommended to get some Britt product there especially coffee and chocolate.

Tour was very educational. You'll learn a lot about how and where their coffee is grown and processed. Wonderful, patient, and funny tour guide. Tour was conducted in both English and Spanish, which is super helpful for those wanting to grasp either language with immediate and seamless translation. There are tasting stations throughout the tour, so don't drink too much coffee before you go. We opted to include lunch optuon with our entry ticket. The restaurant, staff and food were great. Forgot to take pics of the food, but we were served a garden salad and creamy tomato soup to start. Chicken with rice, beans and sautéed vegetables was the main dish with a rice pudding for dessert.

We absolutely loved this tour! The guides have lots of great info and were able to answer all our questions. They explained the differences in bean characteristics, then had samples to taste and compare. Prices for coffee were cheaper than back home and they offered free shipping. The main area includes a butterfly garden and cafe. Highly recommend!!!

Only went for the coffee and some snacks today! The burger was cooked right, wished it had more flavours along with the texture and ingredients they used! The in house coffee was a surprise with different layers of taste! The carrot muffin and chocolate croissant were just ok! Nothing surprising! Also bought some interesting cookies like... passion fruit, walnut, and guava flavoured ones... Will see if they are good!

Amazing tour. The guide was very friendly and funny. The coffee samples were delicious and the location gorgeous. The only thing was that the gift shop was very expensive. However I would totally recommend the tour to other coffee lovers. Great overall experience.

Maria who led the tour is amazing! This was one of our first stops in Costa Rica. I loved immediately diving into the culture and history shared here at the park. I never knew how complex coffee production is. You can also sample different kinds of coffee, watch as it's being made. A coffee sipper is now my dream job

This was a great tour! Our guide was wonderful and kept us all entertained. The food in the restaurant was very good. I highly recommend a stop here. You can arrange Costa Rican coffee shipped to the USA for free with only a $30 minimum order.

Tour guide was super fun - the tour was very informative yet efficient. Had the option to try 5+ varieties of coffees with ample opportunities to ask questions to learn more. Plenty of parking and great gift shop for chocolates, coffees and souvenirs at the end of the tour.

Our guide Luis was amazing: knowledgeable, passionate, inside-full. The whole experience was superb, starting from the meeting, breakfast, all the coffee we tasted and incredible story telling - we learned so muy about coffee making. The plantation itself is magical - l'm so proud and touched by Britt encouraging and sponsoring organic ecological way of doing things - it's amazing!!! Highly recommend this tour to everyone ☕️✨

We had a great visit. Our guide Luis was excellent, and we were very glad we went on the longer half day visit to the plantation as well as to the roastery. Highly recommended for all interested in learning about coffee and especially Costa Rican coffee. Don't miss out on the great cakes in the Bakery side of the restaurant and their burgers looked tasty too! There's also a good shop with a range of gifts to take home.

Luis and Tulio were our guides for the morning tour. They were so enthusiastic and cheerful. We loved how involved and passionate they seemed. Couldn’t have asked for better tour guides!!!! Loved the experience. If you’re near San José, Costa Rica, VERY worth it.

We took a group tour which was informative and the guides made it fun. The gift shop was a little frustrating with no prices on anything and promo signs still in store that were no longer valid.

Wow this absolutely exceeded any expectations could have had! The grounds are stunning and the tour itself is not only informative, but SO fun! The guides were so fun and funny, they made the whole experience a blast! There was lots of coffee to be tasted which was wonderful, and they made the whole experience interactive. I can’t express enough how awesome this was! If you are looking to book a coffee tour THIS is a must! We stayed after for lunch, and the food was good, we also pursued the butterfly garden as well.

The Coffee Lovers Tour was incredible! I learned so much about the coffee process from seed to cup. Luis was knowledgable and funny. It was a bit touristy but still a wonderful experience. The tour included coffee and chocolate samples! The restaurant was excellent, too.

Very informative and enjoyable. We had a great, enthusiastic guide and got to try their free samples of coffee along the tour. The café has great casados and the gift shop is amazing. They also have a butterfly garden!

If you have time for one coffee tour in San Jose, make this the one. Absolutely loved it, knowledgeable and extremely funny guides who explain everything in Spanish and English and involve the audience in their presentation. This isn't a plantation as such but a coffee processing plant but the tour involves showing the entire cycle from seed to cup. The tour lasts almost 3 hours and is extremely informative and fun. The Britt coffee site itself is beautiful and quiet and pre or post tour you can roam around and play with the goats and sheep or wander through the tranquil surroundings. Britt coffee store on site as well as a cafe ( didn't visit). Free Wifi available. One of my favorite memories of our trip to San Jose.

This is an excellent tour. The tour guides are knowledgeable and extremely entertaining. Then when the tour is over, there is a great selection of coffees and gifts at their gift shop. On top of it all, the restaurant has some pretty amazing food as well. My family enjoyed this very much. Thank you Britt Coffee!

Maria, fantastic, knowledgeable, talented, friendly, human who does it all! Great review of coffee. I'd bet she does the work that three people normally do?!

A great tour and experience, you can do the tour in the rain, but it would be better if it is sunny. Very nice coffee and very friendly and fun tour guides - a great learning tour and even a little show!

This experience was amazing. This is like a little oasis to get out of San Jose for a while. The tour guide was spectacular ! So much passion and energy and could speak perfect English as well as Spanish. Beautiful butterfly garden and very nice Cafe that's not overpriced. If your staying I San Jose, you gotta check this place out. :)

It is an exciting place; I knew something about coffee, yet I recognized processing it, the challenges to collect, and the technique to provide the best quality. Tasting and smelling like a professional was a great experience. I recommend it to anyone.

A really cool half day activity. Easy to reach from San Jose. Educational, fun, heaven for coffee lovers. Our guide was super personable and engaged us in quizzes & trials. Definitely recommend to have lunch here as well! :)

It is a small coffee farm, yet it has everything that you need to know about coffee. The tour guide was very knowledgeable with comedy that kept all attendants and their attention fixed. We learn the different kinds of coffee beans and what is the best quality of coffee. Britt goes to extremes to provide the highest quality of coffee for all taste. We learned that you can purchase all kinds of coffee that Britt produces as well as candies. Delicious flavors hard to find in other brands. My only complaint was about the lunch, the was cold, and will not recommend it. But overall, I recommend the tour to anyone who loves coffee; you will not be disappointed.

What a great tour! If you're a coffee enthusiast and/or curious about the history, growing, harvesting, processing, cupping, and tasting of coffee, you should not pass up the opportunity to take this tour!

The tour was enjoyable. I learned and got to taste many coffees. The food at the end was ok, the chicken had a nice flavor but was dry.i did spend a good amount of $ in gift shop. The zip line is perfect if you've never done it before. I enjoyed it a lot

Awesome tour with an amazing tour guide. Plenty of cheesy jokes and sample coffees to try as you walk through the plantation. It's not very big so the walk is very easy and it ends with their biggest part, the roastery as well as a video on it. The gift shop had quite a bit of souvenirs as well as plenty of coffee to choose from, as well as a small café attached to sit drink, eat, and talk. Definitely worth it if you can make it, and take about an hour to an hour and a half depending on your group.
