I was very excited to spend the day at Silver Sands, but the treatment I received quickly ruined that excitement. I am a young lady from the US that came alone and wanted to capture memories while in Grenada. iPhone camera resolution tends to deteriorate over time, so I have a DSLR camera with an entry level lense and a tripod (so I’m able to take pictures by myself.) I am in no way a social media influencer, professional photographer, paparazzi, or press. As I was setting up my tripod to take pictures of myself with a nice background, I was approached by a worker and was told I can be sued for taking pictures and that I’m allowed to take pictures with my phone, but not a camera. Before looking booking my day pass I looked for any camera policies and there were none on the website. There was also no signs of camera policies in the establishment. I was confused so I asked another employee, and he was not aware of the policy. He said it’s the first time he’s ever heard that. I then asked the receptionists and they said that it is a policy they have. They say they’ve received “bad press” in the past and that I need manager approval. This also makes no sense because they can also receive “bad press” using iPhone pictures. I explained to them that I’m not a professional. The only difference between me and everyone else taking photos is that I have an actual camera. They said “that’s just the policy.” Eventually I was able to talk to the assistant manager (I believe that’s her title.) She told me I can take pictures with my phone, but I still can’t use my tripod with the iPhone attachment. She then says that I can take pictures with my camera, but I can’t use the tripod. However, another employee said I can use a selfie stick. The only difference between a selfie stick and a tripod is that one is handheld and one isn’t. I suggested to the assistant manager that the policy should be posted online and she responded with “well most people wouldn’t enter an establishment and set up an entire photoshoot with managers approval,” with an attitude. Once again, it was not a “photoshoot” and I am not a professional. My parents who are from the island heard the conversations between myself and the employees. They also heard the conversation between myself and the assistant manager. Upset and confused, they called Silversands themselves and eventually spoke with the assistant manager. She apologized and explained to them that she thought I was a professional due to my set up aka my tripod. Even though I informed her and her staff several times that I’m not. She told my parents that she’d come and talk to me and send an employee to take my photos. After waiting an hour and a half-two hours, she never came to speak to me so I asked some employees to help me. I got beautiful photos of myself & left right after. I did not tag Silversands due to me being threatened to be sued (even though hundreds of people take pictures there and tag them just with a different device.) Check out my Instagram @thejasminejoseph! As I previously stated, I take pictures to capture memories. My beautiful pictures are clouded by the memories of the unprofessionalism I received here. First my dslr camera was the issue, then I was told my tripod was the issue, I was accused several times of being a professional despite me informing everyone I’m not, etc. On top of that, many of the staff aren’t even informed about the policy. After receiving attitude from the assistant manager, it made it clear to me why everyone isn’t informed. Lack of professionalism and leadership skills. I also feel like she felt comfortable talking to me in that manner because I was there simply on a day pass. Many of the employees were absolutely amazing though. Thank you Trisha, Cheryl, the workers at Asiatique and the workers at Grenadian Grill for being so sweet, polite and helpful.

As a local tour operator, Grenada ATV Adventures, our recent interactions with Silversands has been disappointing at best. They do not honor their commitments to local vendors. We are not saying they are bad organization, just they have not acted professionally and with integrity. An ATV tour was booked by Silversands front desk staff for a guest and completed on December 16th, 2021. It was agreed when the tour was booked that Silversands would cover the charges. Once the guest did the tour, Silversands could care less about the small business getting paid. No one was accountable. After several follow-ups and requests for payment, I got a call on April 7 from Hermian who indicated she was disappointed because I emailed all the contacts to follow-up and we promised to post a review saying these facts. She promised to resolve in few days, but it has been a few weeks and no response to my 2nd follow-up email nor a phone call. In any business, things get missed and service is sometimes less than perfect -- we are human, but the greatest judge is the response when issues arise. At this point, we prefer not to do any business with Silversands again. Their Guests are always welcome though :) Just book directly on our website. It has been tough for small businesses, especially with COVID, but we do not need a partner that operates in less than good faith.

I came here for a massage and food. I loved the massage, great experience and service, but the food was one of the worst meals I have had at such a high price. If it wasn't for the great singer, the whole experience would have been worst. I ordered what it claimed to be middle eastern chicken kabob. The chicken was dried and tasteless. 5 small pieces of chicken dark meat with small dried flat bread. The service is slow, it took more than an hour and 15 minutes to get the food. If you claim to be five stars and charge for such services, please provide them.

We visited for lunch, which was very good. Particularly with young children, then menu was very kid friendly. The adults were hoping to enjoy the cocktail menu, but most of the items were unavailable. Happy the wine options were good.

Absolutely beautiful! My husband and I got the day pass to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such an enjoyable, relaxing experience. The staff was so nice, the food and drinks were on point, and the view… WOW is all I can say. This place is pure luxury and I definitely recommend! FIVE STARS! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had lunch there today. I was mostly impressed with the calming but luxurious decor of the lobby and restaurant. It's nestled on the breathtaking Grand Anse Beach, so the view is amazing. The staff was courteous and pleasant. Customer service was exceptional. I had a shrimp cesar salad to start and catch of the day. Both were delicious. This is the most expensive lunch I've ever had in my country, Grenada, but the experience was worth every penny.

Seems like they do not like respond to emails. I’m still waiting for response regarding day for passes local and normal. As a few of us was travelling from UK and the US with 4 people wanting to stay at the hotel but as long as the others 6 could attend day passes while they we there. So after emailing twice and getting no response. I told my friends to book royalton and raddison because their customer service was better. And we had a great time :). I can only assume it was because I was asking for local rate that they assumed it wasn’t worth responding to. When the fact of the matter it was the initial question which would lead to booking of 4. I used the email address on their website. Oh well there’s plenty of nice hotels on the island.

Words cannot describe how wonderful this property is, everything down to the last detail is immaculate, the property, the service, the food. I have never stayed at a better property in my life. The service is incredible, not one person gave us bad service. The spa is out of this world, my wife and I got massages and she got a facial and I got a haircut. Everything was perfect for our entire stay. This is a property I will be coming back to for the rest of my life!

Gorgeous all around. I am so impressed with the food offerings as each restaurant always has a few delicious veg options. The signature cocktails have been creative and fun to try (standard/classic cocktails are also readily available). We have had only truly lovely experiences with every staff member we run into. They are patient and ready to help create an exceptional experience for guests. The grounds are beautiful and lush, and the rooms are modern delights. If accessibility is a concern, there are golf carts that can whisk you to anywhere you need to go on the property. The pool has easy to use entry/exit stairs at multiple points. The rooms are spacious/not cluttered, so moving around is easy, and there are flat walk-in showers. If you have the ability to stay here, I couldn't recommend it more!

If perfection was an evening, this would be it! Silversands provided the most immaculate meal that I had while vacationing in Grenada. From start to finish, every detail was phenomenal. I had the drink called The writers block, so delicious! The sourdough bread was just heavenly & I started with the perfectly seasoned lobster fritters. The blacked snapper was fantastic! And pineapple sorbet for desert to cool off, seemed like a sweet dream. The sounds of the beach and beautiful scenery made it all feel otherworldly! I highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Grenada and to the Silversands Resort. There are not enough words to express what an amazing experience we had. The staff the property and the food were all spectacular. Every member of team smiled said hello and asked if we were having a good day !

If you are planning to make a reservation for a birthday or event DONT EVEN TRY! It has been one of the most infuriating and disappointing experience I have witnessed. From cancelling the day because of a "miscommunication" after making the reservation three weeks in advance to rescheduling making my friend pay a deposit of $50 USD per person and then given her a hard time to give her the refund. Truly disgusting i wouldn't recommend to anyone. Oh and the omelettes are the worst thing i have tasted in my life

From the street, the location seems modest at best. Get beyond the check-in desk, and the entire place seems to transform. Super fabulous rooms. The host greets you with a cool towel and a cool beverage. Host-escort to room must be common, as we were escorted to the room and presented our room by our host. Thou we had already had the days last meal, we opted for a stroll and found ourselves intrigued by the dinner environment. This is the first time we have ever had such a tasty and tidy lobster roll. The pool and shoreline are gorgeous.

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because for a resort this expensive, there is just no reason for not having food available 24x7. When I booked the reservation, it listed room service available 24 hours. Well, that was not the case. All day room service is only available during their peak season. Additionally, I arrived back to my room today after an outing and the room had not been cleaned. I had to call and order towels in order to shower. Again, this place isn't cheap so I found this totally unacceptable. However, the resort is beautiful, staff extremely friendly and I would definitely consider returning if I were to vist Grenada again.

Probably the island best kept secret, unfortunately it is located on the worse part of the most popular beach. It's service and infinity pool make up for that shortcoming, great atmosphere, food though not of the highest quality

The hospitality is first class. Staff will tend to all your needs. They stop at nothing to please. The food was amazing, so we're the cocktails. We had a day pass, which is well worth it. Didn't have time to sleep over as it was our last day, so I can't comment on the rooms.

My husband and I chose to celebrate our first year anniversary in Grenada, and we are so glad we picked Silversands as our home away from home. From the rooms to the staff to the food, not a single detail is missed. The management truly goes above and beyond to make your stay amazing. They helped us arrange tours all around Grenada. I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you Silversands for such a memorable trip!

We had dinner at the grill. The restaurant's ambiance is wonderful, and the wait staff is pleasant and engaging. However, the food was not enjoyable. I returned both of my dishes. The callaloo soup was tasteless, and the lobster was salty. The 4 of us each ordered an appetizer & a main course. Seven of the 8 dishes were salty. It was a disappointing culinary experience.

Super relaxing! The rooms is very beautiful with decor and accents. The ladies in the spa room was extremely nice and professional ( I recommend as well). I highly recommend to order the shrimp tacos, the best ever. The overall experience was extremely excellent, thanks to staff members Kedisha and Micah for being overly accommodating. Silver sands Grenada is beautiful.

We didn't stay at the hotel but attended a number of times at the restaurants, the cigar and rum room, and the spa. The hotel has a beautiful layout on Grand Anse beach. We found the service at Grenadian Grill to be the best. We did not have a good experience at Asiatique as the service was not good despite the restaurant being told we were there for a birthday celebration (the food was still good though it took a long time to get a cocktail, followed by over an hour from our appetizer to our main meal to be served). Aside from this far less than impressive, and somewhat painful, experience at Asiatique which I will chalk up to a bad night for the staff, we enjoyed the resort. The service at Grenadian Grill was excellent and friendly. The food was also very nice. The SPA did a great job. The rum and cigar room was excellent and the staff there is an asset to the resort. We went back a few times and overall it seemed like a great place to stay or hang out and enjoy the facilities.

This hotel is utterly amazing. Great service, great food, and the place is beautiful. In specific Michael, Uvaraj, & Salvador were very attentive and kind to our large party. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We visited the restaurants Asiatique and the Grenadian Grill and they were both excellent. Firstly, the service is without a doubt the best in Grenada and on a par with other 5 star hotels around the world with Shetonia and Chenelle as standout staff. They even remembered our drinks from a week earlier. The Asiatique Buffet had a good selection of starters and four mains all excellent quality and thanks to a newly employed Thai chef very tasty. The Grenadian Grill was sublime with a good salad bar and four choices of meats great side dishes. Let's be frank, it's not cheap here, but the quality, location, ambience and feeling of luxury make it worth the money.

Based on all the recommendations to experience Silversands as the finest hotel on the island, I was very much surprised to the most disappointing dining experience of my life. Anticipating my arrival to the island, I made dinner reservations approx. 1.5-2 weeks in advance for 8pm on said night of my anniversary (which also happened to be on thanksgiving.) My husband and I decided to have drinks at the hotel in the afternoon of the day where we were informed by the waitress that they shuffled around the dining areas due to their thanksgiving brunch. Disappointed because we were looking forward to the Asian menu at Asiatique and also because we were not informed of such change by the restaurant prior to our arrival. The waitress (who was the most pleasant) organized for us to still access the Asian menu for our dinner reservation (which was now changed to the grill.) We had to preorder our entire 3 courses (which we did at roughly 3pm.) We arrived promptly at 8pm, well dressed, fresh, excited to have a wonderful thanksgiving and anniversary dinner. To my despair, I was told there were no tables available. HOW can you not have my table ready when: -my reservation was made 1.5-2 weeks in advance -I reconfirmed my attendance approx 4 hours prior to arrival -I preordered our entire 3 courses. HOW!? We arrived to a very packed grill area, so packed that they pitched a temporary plastic backyard table in the middle of the restaurant with plastic chairs to seat a party. Informed by an unapologetic waiter that we had to wait on a table, we were thrown to the side to wait. We sat and waited for ONE EXACT HOUR. ONE HOUR. HOW can you allow your customers to wait on a reserved table for one hour? There is no place in this entire world that I’ve ever experienced such horrible customer service and disappointing dining experience. It was now 9pm. We were starving. We were offered a complimentary drink to compensate (no where close to my time wasted) however, the house wine was garbage and we decided to pass on that. After threatening to leave, around 9:15pm, a table became available. We were finally seated at a table where no drinks orders were taken, no menu was given. No offer for drinks was made (despite pre selecting wine choices earlier on in the day.) It seems like our Asian food was made quite earlier on in the day as the dumplings were very hard and unpalatable. The tofu salad we ordered was distasteful and soggy. At that point, we had enough. I could not settle for horrid service any further. We left and enjoyed a quiet, pleasant, unreserved dinner at Pun-jabi whose service should be worthy of emulation by the silver sands teams. Extremely dissatisfied and poor service and I am certain I am not the only one with disappointment at dinner that night as multiple couples gave the same impression. It was the worst thanksgiving/anniversary dinner. Conclusively, the hotel is nice, beautiful and well laid out but honestly, management needs to review their dining, reservations team and their staff. Quality of service was absolutely poor. Definitely not worth the price for bad service.

From our short visit to the Silversands Grenada, It was a wonderful experience, the ambiance, the scenery, the welcoming atmosphere, and the staff all of which compliments each other in perfect harmony for a world-class exquisite memorable occasion never forgotten by time. But don't just take my word for it, take the time to experience it yourself.

Tbh i dont think the dinner is worth the price. The asiatique buffet charges 50 us dollars Plus tax that was around 20 us when split among a large group and the gratuity added an additional 10 per person. But the buffet was just a bunch of rice noodles, chicken wings and some fried shrimp. It is just not equating. There was no legitimate meat and I wouldn't pay 80 US for such cheap food. And drink and water prices aren’t even included. I spent more than 100 us on chicken and noodles that taste similar to food from container. Save your money and get better food at aquarium.

Great service by Clarista. The girl will upsell you and you’ll love it. Very service oriented spot - probably the best in Grenada. Just tell her you want the freshest fish, or the baby chicken. Accommodations are stellar…you’re own private pool on every section. If you want the best of Grenada this is it.

We were looking for someplace new to try and the Silversands Grenada was on the top of the list. From our first interaction with Hermian & Francine, we knew that this stay was going to be something special. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Narelle, Hermian, Francine, and Swanie, their kindness set the tone for an incredible 5-night stay during the week of Thanksgiving. The hotel is beautiful and that is an understatement, from the lobby to the longest pool in the Caribbean. The decor and architecture were sublime. The room was spacious, with great use of different textures to provide a unique feel and energy. The location was perfect, which lead to some of the most beautiful sunsets I've seen in the Caribbean. Grand Anse beach was as picturesque as advertised and I would recommend going for a walk at sunset. Lastly, what made this trip amazing was the warm and welcoming staff. They took great care of my family and I appreciate all the tips and suggestions that were made. Narelle, Hermian, Francine, Swanie, Pete, Shea, Shannon, Tara, Alison, Shonna, Trisha, Arnold, Keyon, thank you so much for treating us like family and providing an amazing experience. I apologize if I missed anyone.

The most beautiful place to stay in Grenada, the staff are the most courteous staff in the whole world- speak perfect English and really try to make sure guests are cared for with kindness and professionalism- I also like that they take a service charge automatically so it creates a really respectful environment where you can just relax fully---

My boyfriend and I booked a week here in April for a little spring break. We solely went to Grenada after finding this hotel online. We have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world, but Silversands has to up there with one of the best. New, beautiful, clean rooms. The attention to detail is incredible. The food was delicious--the shrimp tacos down at the beach, amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at all times. Truly spoiled us. We still talk about this vacation. This hotel alone will make your whole trip. 10/10!
