Bring pesos to go to the bathrooms! My group chose to go on a tour, not sure if there are tour options in English, but our tour guide provided excellent commentary and knowledge of the pyramids so I highly recommend getting a tour if you speak Spanish. Wear comfortable shoes, especially if you want to walk the whole walkway or go up the pyramids. Also bring a hat, sunscreen, and water! I visited in December and it was so hot, it felt like a summer day. There are some parts that have stairs and no ramps for strollers or wheelchairs so keep that in mind if you are visiting with babies or wheelchair users.

Is just breathtaking and beyond words. Due to Covid health risks some places are temporarily closed, such as going up the pyramids. Yet, just looking at the temples of our past was incredible. Food, transportation and entertainment is guaranteed.

Teotihuacán is an essential if you are in the Mexico City area for more than 5 days. Yes, it's quite a drive, but you WILL NOT regret it. The archeological site of Teotihuacan is impressive to say the least. Guides are not only recommended but (IMO) essential. You will learn 10x more with one than without. Don't buy any souvenirs without bartering, especially if you're buying more than one. It's important to remember to bring bottled water, hats and sunscreen as buying this on site may be more expensive. On any account, you will not regret visiting Teotihuacan... the Teotihuacan-gods will thank you and bless you for your patronage 😆

While the pyramids are obviously amazing the management of the site isn't. I'm sure they have had a massive drop in income over the past 2 years due to Covid19 but a lot of places have taken the opportunity to tidy things up. Poor, sun bleached, unreadable signage, closed museum, a lot of other buildings closed and lots of areas fenced off. You couldn't climb a pyramid either.

What a great experience. So much to see. We planned about 4 hours but we could have easily done more. I wish the larger temples were still open to climb, but they are closed at this time. Parking and entry fees are reasonable. You can easily go on your own or with a tour group. The temple of Quetzalcoatl was open to climb and also then get up close to the intricate carvings. Awesome. There are multiple vendors for tourist stuff, food and other items. Bathrooms were in acceptable condition. We got there early (8am) it was quiet then and vendors were still setting up. By 9am, the place was humming! Bring a jacket and a hat. If you don't have a hat they have 20000 there that they will try to sell you! 😆

A must see for any visitor to Mexico City. Spectacular in every way possible. Could not limb at our time of visit due to covis, but absolutely worth it. This is a critical piece of Mexican history that provides tremendous insight to their broader national identity. And the Museum is very through and well thought out.

Great historical monument with so much history behind it. Recommend to go earlier in the morning as they open as it's gets very hot and hard to walk the distances. Carry water with you and a hat for sure.

Really great place to visit. Bring appropriate attire because you will walk a lot and it’s hot! I’m not sure if they had actual restrooms. I only saw port-a-potties

An incredible place to visit - unbelievable how well preserved these thousands of year old ruins are. I'd recommend a tour (private if possible) so you can get the best understanding of everything thats there. Also do you don't spend too much time being lost and looking for things, it's easy to miss important sites i.e the houses within houses

I love coming here, it feels so amazing to be in this temples and listen to the stories of how it was built and used and how they keep discovering new things about them and the work is still ongoing. Would recommend good walking shoes as there are no shortcuts.

Beautiful, breathtaking. No photo can capture the magnificence. There are many guides offering services, many vendors. Plan to arrive early and enjoy a nice lunch nearby.

Undoubtedly one of the great wonders to experience. The pyramids are part of an ancient city that is difficult to grasp that it was a sprawling community of ancient people existing a very long time ago. I’m happy I went to the effort to go from Mexico City but we’ll worth. If you have the Opp don’t miss it. Take a hat and sunscreen and enjoy.

This is a must see when in Mexico City. Totally amazing but super hot if you arrive late morning as the sun is blazing hot. Please bring a hat or umbrella and wear tons of sunblock. We were only allowed to climb up the first temple but it was still amazing. Highly recommend!

Definitely worth paying for a tour in my opinion, as it was fascinating learning some of the history of this site. It's a shame you can no longer climb the pyramids, but understandable for conversation reasons. Still really epic to take in the size of them, even from the ground

Magical place to e and see! Ruins are everywhere and the people are so friendly! I was walking by myself and didn't feel threatened at all walking alone. Make sure to take a few days to walk the avenue of the dead to get the experience of the place!!! Highly recommend the balloon ride!

Visiting Teotihuacán with guide it is good to start to visit the site museum close to Pyramids of the Sun. Less commercialised so you have time to enjoy the area without always being approach to buy something. The buses from the north bus station and there works well. It can be a very affordable visit to a beautiful place. Not able to climb and pyramids.
