Love there red beans and rice, Alfredo, and Gumbo…..Can’t wait to try more!!! Hidden treasure!!

Gary: Get in here! This spot has been here since February and I somehow missed it! Today, I nearly backed up on the road when I saw the sign for Louisiana cajun. The owner waited on me and several others. 100 percent homemade and fresh with vegetarian items. 3 dinners is enough fpr two people to have at least 2 meals each. The food is utterly delicious. Perfectly seasoned. Sunday specials! NOTE: It is cash only for now.

Extremely f*%#+ good food. I came on soul food Sunday and was not disappointed. They let me sample everything and I have got to say this will be a regular spot for me. Some of the best candied yams and peach cobbler I’ve had

🏃 🏃 RUN NOW! OMG EVERYTHING WE ORDERED WAS 🔥!!! The GUMBO is real y'all, it's rue is on point! The salmon, shrimp and rice I can't begin to describe the flavor I'm impressed. We also got the shrimp,chicken alfredo is delectable it just calls you back. Portions are enough to eat on twice. The owner is a retired Gary Firefighter with so many tales this is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST PLACE I'VE EATING sinceI moved up north.

This place is incredible!! Authentic Cajun food, the owner/cook is from New Orleans, family has been preparing and serving Cajun food for many decades, and it shows.. you have to ask for Authentic becuz the locals can't eat spicy foods, but he is happy to make you real Cajun food!

Never had gumbo in my life. Never had red beans and rice in my life. Never had stuffed cabbage soup in my life. I’m from Crown Point and have lived a very sheltered life lol. Came here because I was delivering for Amazon in the area and decided to take a shot in the dark and try it. Owner was extremely nice and welcoming and I was able to talk to a few people picking up food there as well. Will definitely come back for more.

This is a horrible business owner, first of all he reheated my wings in the microwave . Disgusting,, I ate one and threw it directly in the garbage ,,then got mad because I told him it was drowned in sauce ,,, the picture speaks for itself …. Then tried to talk about me indirectly ….. Never again

I visited this restaurant for the first time last Saturday and ordered the grilled salmon dinner and the seafood gumbo. The staff lorenzo and lorenza had great customer service and was very patient while I made my mind up on what I wanted to eat. I highly recommend this restaurant and on Sundays it’s soul food.
