An absolutley beautiful venue for my favorite musical, The West Side Story. The acoustics were amazing for the songs and voices of the cast.

4.2stars. Monitored Accessible 🚻 🚻 restrooms on Main level. Entry lines were rather long and slow. Box office was efficient. Dropping off/ Picking up is better at Madison & upper Wacker on Wacker side.

This was my first opera. The venue is beautiful. The sound is amazing. The service was great. There's absolutely nothing I would say negative about the historic venue. Highly recommended. Regardless of whether you are a fan of the opera or not you should visit this place at least once in your life. It's beautiful.

Beautiful venue and fabulous performance of the Nutcracker with Joffrey Ballet. Added bonus of Christmas carols from the Lake Forest Madrigal Choir. Great afternoon.

What a beautiful place to see The Nutcracker Ballet!! My Daughter and I had such a lovely evening attending this time Honored Traditional Ballet. It was Spectacular and the Christmas decor was amazing. Can't wait to see it again next year. Just a Wonderful experience!

Recently saw "The Flying Dutchman" at the Civic Opera House. Nice production, very classy. Even though I was at the back of the theater, the acoustics of the hall were so good that I could still hear everything clearly. The interior was a little confusing and they could use more signs directing people where to go, but the staff was helpful and made up for it. All in all, a very nice experience.

It was amazing, made me feel back at school again, very simple snack menus reserved for intermission. The live acting was beyond outstanding. I recognized ive never such coordination in a performance as that play was. Every second was 100 lerformance, right before me eyes, from the orchestra to the actors and actresses. My goodness.Amazing

My first time at the opera! Obviously, the performance was amazing, and I found the staff to be very friendly. I also love being able to order intermission champagne before it starts, and they have them ready for you. It was a wonderful time all around!
