A gem. Found by accident. We encountered excellent service from owners and staff who seem to be passionate about their offering. They took the time to educate us on all they offer once they discovered we were first time customers. My wife loved the tea. I had the banana bread which was excellent. I also tried their turkey sandwich. Excellent. We plan on going back as there are more to explore from their menu. You are able to purchase teas to take home.

It was a cute shop my only complaint is that I bought some loose tea to make at home and it was almost 30 bucks but didn't seem to be measured and just came in a paper bag that they put pastries in. For that price point it should have come in a container that will help keep it fresh not me having to find my own. They also only allow you to mix two teas and again for 30 bucks I feel like that isn't a good value.

Please do not think you are just coming In here to grab you some lipton tea or your gas station coffee. Selections upon selections...I love the fact that she has such a variety of decaffeinated teas. Customer service was great as soon as I stepped in. Nothing big but just cozy with a few seats. Visiting from another state and finding this gem was awesome. I wish you all the best in the future.

Accidentally ended up here while walking our dog and it was our lucky day! The patio is dog friendly. The coffee outstanding & the food was great! And the young men running the show make everyone feel welcome!

Love this place! Super friendly staff with great iced tea! Their chocolate chip banana bread was yummy too. We went on a sunny spring morning. They had their doors opened up to the outside and we enjoyed the sunlight and cool air. Great vibe!

Nice little bakery with plenty of different tea options. Also had a nice sandwich and blueberry coffee cake.

Cute little tea shop and bakery with garage style doors. Indoor and possibly outdoor seating available (it was raining when I stopped in). They had many tea and flavoring options. I got a mint green tea with rose flavoring and it was absolutely wonderful. Their mini banana bread loaf was great too, so fresh. Highly recommend coming here!

I walked in and didn’t know what kinda tea I wanted all I know is I wanted tea. The guy made a suggestion. What a wonderful cup of tea they brew there. I don’t know what I ordered and with my luck. The next time I go in they’ll probably forget what they gave me 🤣 great customer service, the place smells good.. I bought a chocolate chip cookie to enjoy with my tea that was awesome too thanks Guys great job your doing.

I’ve been to this place before, the food and drinks are great and it is a lovely space. Please post signage on the door that it is not dog friendly inside. With the large side door open it appears as such, but the worker behind the counter raised her voice when I came in with the dog like I should have known otherwise. There is a hook outside on the tree to put your dog but it is out of view of the counter.

What a gem of a place. Super wonderful customer service and cozy shop! We got coffee, macaroons, 2 turkey sausage croissants, and a peanut butter cookie. Everything was delicious. Sadly we are moving from Chicago but the next time we are back, we will make a stop! Highly recommend!

I really wished so more after reading the reviews. Still giving low 4 stars because I feel it was just not a good day and these are easy fixes. Here are my recommendations to make it way better. I did enjoy the friendlyness of the barista. I would clean up the place a little, I feel that the big freezer in the middle of the place distrupts the decor. I would not run a violent movie on the TV, i was expecting lounge music or the news at least. I was dinning in so i was expecting to have reusable dishes instead of plastics trowable containers and cardboard cup for my tea. I would not leave the cinamon buns in the pan, for mine had a metalic taste. Also the barista had to open the doors to let the smoke out at one point. So i was smoked in and freezing. Just a bad day I guess. I'll give them a second chance if I ever return to that area.

Amazing individuals running this place. I’d love to see them do more specialty coffee beans like pour over and variety for their espresso beans to serve! This place has amazing potential. And their pastries are heavenly. Not to mention they sell amazing Zarlengos ice cream!

I stopped by here on a Wednesday, mid-day. I was greeted when I walked in and immediately felt comfortable. The owner was spectacular and so kind. I got the vanilla bean iced tea and the turkey sausage egg and cheese and everything was AMAZING. the tea is not just your normal Lipton tea. Its a million times better. Another plus is that they're black woman owned. 10/10 highly recommend and will be back!

Delicious bakes! We highly enjoyed the citrus pound cake and doughnuts (Fridays only). The tea is also freshly made from loose leaves it seems, not your usual tea bag tea. Owner is incredibly friendly, with jovial and welcoming greetings from the moment you step in, and follow ups on if you enjoyed the food. Space doesn't have many tables so just enough for a quick sit down for your drinks or bakes. Recommended if you're in the area and would like a good tea!

Best coffee spot in the south loop- the staff is extremely friendly, and the tea flavor selection is literally insane. Like over 30 flavors to choose from, including some more exotic ones. Baked goods (scones, pastries, etc) homemade daily and absolutely DELICIOUS. Not very much room to sit in for coffee, but a south loop gem nonetheless

I loved that place! The atmosphere was so cool, everyone was smiling and in a good mood, joking around. They were the nicest people ever. They had an amazing collection of tea and they knew what they were doing (they timed their tea instead of leaving the tea bag inside. That’s how you know they are real with their tea). Banana bread was phenomenal, so moist inside. And you can see her baking goods right there! I loved that place. I wish we lived in Chicago to go more often.

Wow! Friendly and fun to talk to service and great outdoor seating. There’s not much in the way of indoor seating, so be prepared. Wide variety of tea flavors so there’s something for everyone. Loved the ginger rooibos & quiche!

I've been coming here for a while now and it is my go-to spot for blueberry muffins with a good coffee, they muffins are incredible and the best I've had anywhere else. Their bakery in general is top notch and you will not be disappointed in any of their offerings. Plenty of coffee and tea options along with flavorings, and again, the coffee and tea is great. There's some really interesting tea flavors I haven't seen everywhere and it's great to have that many options. The employees here are always amazing and friendly I've never had any bad experience at all, and the outdoor seating is great to have! Can't say enough good things about TeaPot, come here if you haven't yet!

Very good local coffee shop! I pass by TeaPotBrew Bakery every morning on the way to dropping off my daughter at school. Always a great experience with excellent coffee and bagels. Very accessible if you're on a bike or using a big stroller. Witnessed a very strange customer who was very argumentative and made completely baseless accusations (wish I took a video because it was truly wild). The staff were calm and professional the entire time and handled it much better than I would have. I will definitely be coming by more often.

The tea spot here is really good fresh brew tea to order, the food and bakery's pretty standard, the service is really nice and friendly

The baked goods here are great, and the owner is wonderful!!! She is so vivacious and full of life, and made me a custom iced tea blend based on what I liked! People talk about the muffins but DO NOT sleep on the cinnamon rolls! What a lovely bakery to have in the neighborhood and there are tons of regulars walking in to say hi as well - always a great sign.

Service was polite and fast. The only thing I would suggest is that they list the price of adding extra flavors to your coffee. Put again! Service was very polite and speedy. And most importantly, the coffee is great 😊

I had a banana bread and small coffee. Both were very good. Atmosphere at the place is really cool too. On my way out I asked if I could use the restroom and was told "No restroom", so plan accordingly.
