I've been going to the JH in Blue Island, IL for over 25 years. They're excellent, specifically Melinda.

Melinda lied to me. At first I thought she was very professional. I explained to her that I generally file my own taxes with Turbo Tax for free, & the only reason I was at Jackson Hewitt was for the refund advance. I explained that if I’m not approved, I dnt want to file my taxes here. She assured me that I should be approved for the refund advance. I even asked twice and she said yes. It became clear that she was telling me what i wanted to hear just so I wouldn’t leave. I ended up paying $499 for her to file my taxes, then 5 minutes later was told that I was approved for the refund advance but my taxes were filed so It’s still a “good thing”. I could’ve saved $499. You try and support black people but we don’t look out for each other. I will never go back there or recommend anyone. Do your taxes for freeze why give these people $500

Professional..clean establishment.. my appointment was at 4pm.. I came one hour early and was seen one hour before my appointment ! Satisfied will my return with a better understanding of my taxes!
