First time here, and wasn't impressed ! Random weight equipment all over the place, dirty towels left on the floors and minimal sanitary for cleaning equipment before and/or after use of machines. Not the same as the Charger fitness I knew a couple of years ago

I was a member here last winter and eventually got the cops called on me just because they wanted to take a photo of me nearly every night that I went there. The trainer who obviously takes PEDs is called the cops because of the short temper PEDs cost and the officers unlawfully took my ID even though I committed no crimes. Trespassing only is committed when warned before and if you aren’t a customer. I was a customer at the time and for that clown to call the cops on me just because I didn’t want to take a photo for the 15th time that month was wild to me. I took down all their IDs in case thanks to a system I have because I felt that it was unfair for them to have mine so it’s all good on that end. This gym does not have long, the LA fitness in Alsip shut down and this will be the next one to go and eventually the kids Play will be expanded into it so don’t waste your time at any CFX. They don’t follow COVID policies yet tried to sue their insurance company because it didn’t cover for COVID isn’t it funny how Karma works?

By far worst gym in history and I am contemplating a civil suit against them. Smelly disgusting gym with half working massage hydro beds it’s a total waste of 25$. They don’t have anyone working during the nights so pretty much anyone can come in there. Equipment and weights is minimal and sucks too. Save your time and money because the parking lot is tiny and the Kid Play Zone customers overpower the lot. This gym should just close down and expand for the kids instead of a raggedy half effort gym.

The only leg extension machines bolt is loose. Pad where you make contact with your ankles isn’t level because of it. Definitely messing people’s knees up.

The CFX Alsip gym is really clean and has a really welcoming environment! As a bigger woman sometimes I get anxious going to gyms, but not this one. Everyone is super nice! Highly recommend!

Staff is super friendly. During no employee hours it gets pretty dirty but that should be expected from a 24 7 gym. I noticed during employee hours everyone is moving around and busy, cleaning and greeting members. I would recommend the membership where you can go to any gym in your area. Its not that much more expensive on an annual basis and you get to go to a different gym for a different vibe every once in a while.

This gym has zero parking spots during the week. Good luck finding a parking spot. The 25$ a month is a waste here because of the time you lose trying to find a parking spot and waiting for others to get off the massage chair and stair master. The weights are not calibrated either. The gym smells. The reviews are fake, they close off the biggest and best room now for most. Smelly gym. It’s hard canceling membership. They have a whole process to cancel and synchrony bank is frauds.

I had an issue with my billing so I gave them a call just now and I spoke with a gentleman named Jonathan! He was so kind and resolved my issue right away. I wish every place had workers like him. They actually care and do their job with ease. Bless him

Poorly managed and unorganized. Mask mandate means nothing here.... wieghts are never where they should be, and there is obvious signs of no daily cleaning or re racking wieghts by staff or management. Usually only 1 person on staff. Machines are all worn down, broken (many out of commission), and not properly placed on the concrete floor ( they rock back and fourth.... )also picture attached they are missing many grips on machines that need to be replaced... also Google Hours are wrong, they are 24/7 with thier app.

This place is a joke most of these reviews are fake.. I was interested in personal training a guy Barry who overcharged me for sessions was annoying and weird and the trainer(justin) he set me up with was careless only wanted to train on his time.. I canceled but I still get charged for something I canceled? If this gym wasn't close to me I'd cancel my member ship too.

It’s not cheap. I’m paying about $45 per month for two people but I do have the option to go to other locations. Equipment is great. Staff seem nice. Parking can be tight because there’s a day care center next door.

Love this gym! The night shift is very helpful and friendly. Always clean and welcoming. My only complaint is it isn’t a 24/7 location and the outdated equipment.

The assistant manager at this location is completely unprofessional and needs to learn how to talk to people. By far the worst experience I’ve encountered with this gym. Sad to see people represent a company like this.

Almost done with my 7 day free trial and i must say, this gym and the employees here are fantastic. David at the front desk has helped me accommodate to the scene and has been more than helpful. I look forward to signing up this Friday. AND they have GREAT BODY WASH in the showers which you never see at the Planet Fitness or Commercial run of the mill gyms. Love this place and can't wait to be a part of it.

Open path never worked. Tried to pause my account and still got charged for 3 months. Then I proceeded to just cancel my member ship and that didn’t work until I went to alsip twice and then finally palos charter.

Gets packed, in all a great gym. Wish they had a hack squat machine, and chest supported t-bar row.

I love that it's open 24 hours. The cleaning could be a bit better. Some equipment needs to be replaced. Otherwise this place is cool. Great location. Sometimes there are patrol cars in the parking lot at late hours. I love that as well.

Crystal was amazing, very nice, and peaceful with me. She goes above and beyond and convinced to join the free kettleball class. Thank you.

Great gym but disgusting bathrooms. Public porta pottys are much cleaner than the men’s bathroom: never clean!

I’ve been to this location a couple of times and the staff is always super friendly and amazing whatever questions you need answered they got you with no hesitation. The bathrooms are always super clean and smell great also the manager is really helpful and kind he definitely deserves a raise aint to many good managers out here like jeno .

The girl at the front desk,Crystal, is always so nice. She is best! Every time I walk in she never fails to greet me and ask me how my day has been.

Why are the bathrooms always so dirty? Every time I come, bathroom floors covered in used toilet paper and the sink counter tops are a mess.

Club was dirty and I often complained about the lice in the showers, broken lockers and broken treadmills so instead of fixing it they asked me to leave

Fantastic atmosphere at this location- staff is friendly and facility is clean. The new security system is great when working out in the evening/night knowing everyone has a membership.

If you're looking for a great place to make some changes in your life then come to Charter Fitness of Alsip, IL. All the equipments are clean after being use and the lockers are very cleans as well.

The charter fitness alsip location is my favorite place to workout. The workers are friendly, the gym is clean, and there’s space to do whatever you have planned for your workout. I also like the new open path feature which makes the gym accessible at all times.

This is a great gym I go here every day and I bring my friend every day we are both below 18, I was never told about the policy that you have to be above 18 to bring someone and we both were kicked out even tho I have a membership?. He said we both have to leave. I have never had a problem with bringing my friends. If I would have known I couldn’t bring people I would not have signed up. If people can come after staff leaves and sneak in why can’t I bring one of my friends with me ?.

My husband and I had a CPR class up there. We had a great experience and learned a lot. Mike is a good and thorough instructor.

Honestly the best and cleanest gym I’ve come across this far. Though it may not seem much at first glance, the staff really make it amazing. I’m always been met with the friendliest staff that want to ensure you have the best workout whenever you walk in. One of the managers Eddie really goes out of his way by accommodating any requests patrons may have. Would highly recommend

Great neighborhood gym. I've been a member for over 5 years and aside the business next door taking up parking on the weekends, I have no complaints. The staff is always helpful, the gym is clean and I've met some great indivduals. The atmosphere allows you to be comfortable with yourself and the new updates and equipment are a plus. Thank you to management and the entire Cfx team for always providing a great experience.

Assistant manager was super helpful in explaining the terms of my contract and helping me with my account!!! Props to the staff for being patient and polite with customers

Been going to this gym for a long time and it’s only gotten better. When you walk in all you see is people working hard and the staff working even harder. One staff member in particular is Kathy. I see her every morning and she always has a smile on her face as she makes sure the gym is nice and clean at all times. Keep it up!

Amazing gym and great staff, I went to a couple of gyms before finding Charter Fitness. I was able to find a great personal trainer David who helped me form a personalized fitness plan and guide me through my workouts. The gym is 24/7 open it is always clean and welcoming. I highly recommend Charter Fitness Alsip.

The gym is not impressive whatsoever. They have so many locations and it’s hard to understand why when they are all low quality and dirty smelling gyms. Maybe the owners doing money laundering ?
