    As a black woman we often times overlooked and not heard, this place is no different. This is one of the reason I don’t go to the doctor on a regular basis. I switch my PCP from a white female doctor to a black female doctor thinking things would be different and was so disappointed. I was under the impression that this doctor would help me with my concerns or even listen to what I had to say I was wrong. She was so overfocused on explaining to me that she knew her job and that she had years of experience that she never treated or addressed my concerns (the reason for the visit). So overfocused on treating what was already treated from a previous doctor, calling my situation raggedy and that she was gonna get me together (her exact words) she never treated what I came in for. Dr. Hawkins fat shamed me and she herself is obese. I will never return.

    Been going here for years, since I was born at the hospital down the street, this is all I know. I was 35 weeks pregnant and had a Pap Smear done by Dr. Hayes. During the examination he inappropriately touched my clitorus area and was aggressive with swabs and left me bleeding , itchy, and sore. I formally reported to the HR and they excused him say he is hard of hearing and old. This is not an excuse to lose all professionalism in the room! Most definitely reporting him to the police! Please be aware of him! Please stay safe and be careful. Complaints are not took seriously here. I don't recommend.

    This clinic has REALLY gone down. I've been going to this clinic for over 20 years, and must say that it has TRULY lost its values. All of the doctors who REALLY cared for their patients are gone. I saw Vonnise Hussey today, and her level of care and concern for my issues were NONE!!!!! She seemed very irritated, and rushed through what I was trying to tell her about my health concerns. I will be calling my insurance to notify them of this incident, to ensure that they're not billed for services that she failed to give!!!!!!

    I need to make an appointment for my son. I have been trying for about 2hrs now. Every time the call gets to 20 minutes wait time the call drops. Unprofessional, dissatisfied, do better. Thank you

    I had an appointment yesterday at this facility and I sat there for 2 hours without being seen because they got me mixed up with another Johnson. They forgot about me AGAIN while I was sitting in a room. Once I was seen the nurse didn't apologize for my weight she just rushed through my entire appointment. I hate this place.

    My Doc is the best... However the Clinic needs serious overhaul... Telephones always down, Have to DRIVE a few Miles to get a message to Dr, Work on this, Please!

    I have had no problems with my PCP at FCHC. He recommended that I see a neurologist because my PSA was high. I thank God he did because I was diagnosed with stage 1 prostate cancer. I had the surgery earlier this year and all is well 🙏🏼.

    I Hateeee This Clinic, They Test You And Never Come Back With Your Results, They Make You Wait Hours To Be Seen..And They Rush You Out Of There Not Taking All The Protocols To Ensure Your Health, Very Rush And Rude And It Take You Hours To Get In Contact With Even The Receptionist To Call About Your Result I’ll Rate A 0 Dont Take Your Family Here.

    I can never reach the billing department no one ever picks up. This place could also use an upgrade on equipment. The bathrooms are dirty and the toilet is way too high.

    All I can say is Dr S. Liggons and Dr Word-Banks has been seeing me and my children for a couple of years now and we have received excellent care! I don’t know about the other doctors but these two are awesome!

    honestly why is this clinic still here if they're not even as "family " like as they claim. You have a bunch of unhappy just here for a paycheck people her. I was even misdiagnosed with an illness .so to me the state need to take over because they are pitiful.

    This place is literally the worst. I wish I had never walked in. How do you run tests on someone and never call to tell results or discuss a pap or tell info. Horrible service. They really need to shut this location down. 😤 then when you call your Dr is never around .

    I’ve been trying to give this place a chance, but I HATE this place. Floyd has been doing virtual appointments since COVID, which I get, but why for so long? The world is opening back up, and I still have to sit in my kitchen to meet with my PCP! I told the person who answered the phone that I was having heart palpitations for an entire day and she said they can get me in on 10/25/21 for an appointment. Appointments are always an hour or two later than what you scheduled. Some of the MA’s in suite C are the worst and extremely rude. This place needs to be shut down just like everything else in Harvey!

    Where do I start… Worst experience ever dealing with healthcare providers. I’ve been up here 7 times to get paperwork done for work properly. Continuously being disrespected by the women in the office. Still haven’t gotten my paperwork together for work. Facing suspension now. The doctor called me and said “If you don’t want to work quit your job.” I’m disgusted.

    The appointments are too long about u get an appointment to see your primary doctor you'll be in the hospital then when u get out the hospital they tell u to follow up with your doctor but u can't get a dam appointment FCHC HAS TO DO BETTER WITH SERVICES

    I have had my share of not so good experiences at this clinic, but it's four people who stands out. They remind you of what a Christian is. Kierra is Hodges assistant. She has a stressful job but she is always pleasant. With her working with behavioral health patients you wouldn't expect to be treated with dignity. She always goes above and beyond and if she don't know an answer she will find out. Hodges is honest with you, but she listens and care about her patients. She reminds you just because your brain may work different you are still a person. She is very smart & she chose to help others. I appreciate the positive reinforcement she gives. I believe I matter to her & that gives me hope. Nicole greets you as soon as you walk in. She has an amazing personality and smile & always willing to assist. She have ran into some rude people but when they go low she went high. Gabby the patients adovacte she is absolutely amazing. She treats patients like family. She truly care that patients get taken care of with dignity. She has a bubbly personality. I am thankful for these young women. We live in a scary world , these young woman gives me hope. A person who can see the best in everyone put the Christian in Family Christian Center. I hope Ms. Green acknowledge her amazing workers! May God continue to bless them and keep them in his image.

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Don't walk, RUN AWAY from Family Christian Health Center! I never write bad reviews because as a business owner, I understand that from time to time a business can deal with issues. And doctors are no different. However, It is SO bad that I felt compelled to protect others and should know how difficult It is to deal with Family Christian Health Center. There are a few people there who try their best but for the most part the system itself is horribly set up. You must call the central line (you can never get to your doctors office directly) which means that you are holding for over an hour at times to even get through to the operator just to be transferred and be put on hold again. Then, at times, the phone system will simply hang up after all that time! This has happened on numerous occasions. In addition, 75% of the people I speak to (office staff, nurses, etc) are rude and not customer service centric. I have complained to the care coordinator and some other staff and some of them have told me they have heard a lot of the same from many other patients. I had a telehealth visit that my doctor just completely missed and no one called me to let me know or reschedule. I switched doctors and then had another telehealth appointment and the doctor was well over an hour late. After holding for 30 minutes to speak to someone, she rudely told me that the doctor was running a "little" late. I asked if she could find out a new time to see the doctor so I could reschedule my work meetings, and she said she cannot because he is in with a patient and did I want to reschedule (with a very rude tone). It was imperative that I see the doctor because I needed my new referrals for the new year. So, unfortunately, I had to deal with this. Once the doctor finally called me, instead of listening to my concerns, he had an attitude and basically told me that I have to deal with it because "good doctors take time to wait for" and he asked me the same questions 3x because he didn't listen. The name of this doctor is Dr. Vandenberg. He refuses to listen to his patients. The only reason I haven't switched provider groups is because I needed to complete my treatments and don't want to relearn a new system. I feel I am at their mercy. However, I fully plan to switch in July. No one should have to deal with this. Its hard enough when you are sick, let alone deal with horrible customer service. This is not just one person or one doctor. I have been to many here trying to find a better fit. Management doesn't seem to do anything about It as I have tried! The good doctors that I did find, ending up leaving within a year apart. Likely because they did not want to deal with the horribly designed system. Please DO NOT go to Family Christian Health Center. You will only end up frustrated.

    Prescription was never sent out to pharmacy after calling several times, do not call after hours as you will be answered by someone who doesn’t know/won’t answer your questions. I only came here as it was the closest walk in, I would never be back.

    I had an appointment with Vonnise Hussey. This was my 1st time seeing her. She listened to all my concerns and issues. Was very polite, informative, and she gave lots of helpful tips. It was a very pleasant experience.

    My appointment was at 11:20am in suite B,I got there at 11:00 ahead of time, and I was sitting there at 1:00, and they still didn't call my name, I told the receptionist to cancel me, and I walked straight out the door. You will get sick waiting on the doctor there. That was my first and last time going there.

    Theresa is the worst, as well as the doctor buster. They lost my release forms, I had an appointment over the phone for a follow up after not receiving proper care the first time. The did not call me back at my appointment time. They called me 2 hours later to tell me that the doctor is running late and he will call me back but they never did. The office closed. What kind of facility is this. I called the next day since I was never assisted with my appointment and same thing they are telling me to come in person 4 days later. That will make it a week for a follow up session which is unfair since it’s taking a whole month for my original inquiry. This facility needs to shut down. Taking advantage of sick patients is such shameful behavior. Shame on you all. Update: never got my call back for my appointment, it’s literally the next year.

    Dr. Shelly Dixon has been my grandchildren's pediatrician for the last 12 years. She's a very caring doctor and very thorough. I highly recommend her.

    Stephanie Liggons is very unprofessional. Had a 2:20 appointment and sat there until 4:20 without getting seen. When asking her how long, she got an attitude and said she’s coming and had other patients. What was the point of making an appointment at 2:20 to not be seen within that time. Very slow, unprofessional, and inconsiderate of people’s time. People have other stuff to do with their time. Even the receptionist has said that this is a common thing with her. I don’t know who she thinks she is. She is not even a real doctor, she is an APN.

    My provider is in Suite D. I like Mrs. Hodges straight forward approach. She listens to her patients with a gentle ear. She doesn't talk down to you nor does she explain things as if you were a child. A knee injury brought me to this clinic and I got her because she was the only one with open appointment. I'm so glad. I've never had a problem with appointments nor refill of prescriptions. Been going here several years now and don't see myself going anyplace else😁

    At first I was upset for having to wait so long to be seen, then I realized they were short handed. The doctor listen to my concerns and didn't give me "the look" when I gave an excuse for not taken my medicine. He subscribe something different and made me aware it does not have the same side effects as the one I did not take

    Worst experience ever highly recommended going to another doctor. Ask for a referral to see a specialist and never got a call back or a letter NOTHING… Dr. Bott wasn’t helpful at all. Miss diagnosis me and told me to come back next week which he knew he was going on vacation

    On December 4, 2023 I went to the Today Care . I just want to say that my visit was exceptional. Kimberly Shaw PA-C and Kayla Johnson MA, are two employees that are truly a blessing to the patients of FCHC. They were professional ,courteous and they definitely know the FCHC MISSION STATEMENT!

    You can’t get through to anyone over the phones. If you do get an appointment, even if it is the first appointment of the day, plan on staying there for *at least* 2 hours past your appointment time no matter what department you’re going to see, even if there is only one other patient in the office. There is only one doctor there worth seeing in peds. Adult health is a joke. They don’t value your time, or mental health which they don’t even really offer anymore since my old lady retired. My kid and I are out. I don’t understand how this place is still up and running. Do better fchc.

    I didn't know for a year that my doctor left for another hospital, they didn't call me to notify me to give me another doctor, I went to get a prescription for my blood pressure, I found out I didn't have a doctor, m, they assigned another one and they sent me to get some Analyzes until today they have not called me for follow-ups to see me for the results, I called they do not answer
