Very unprofessional and unorganized! Some staff are nice ! This place only care about residents on the 1st floor ! This place also needs a new DON That has experience! Don't believe the admission office when they say 4 aides work the floors ! That's a bold face lie . They are always short and treat the cnas like crap when they do the most work for little pay 10.50. Not worth it. Don't send your loved one here !! Take care of them @ home and have an at home staff come and visit when needed

The worst place ever to send your love ones every time I visit my mom she is soiled no one is ever around to assist me. If I had power of attorney she wouldn't be there every floor smells of urine except the first floor. Most of the staff have attitudes very unprofessional people.

Keisha, a nurse on the 3rd is very rude and doesn't seem to want to help. She insisted on telling me what she couldn't do instead of trying to find a solution. The hold music/message (of which I had to listen to for a total of 40, out of the 45 minutes I was on the phone waiting to speak with someone) is centered on being helpful, kind, compassionate, which is definitely not what I experienced.

The villa was excellent, extraordinary. The staff was very helpful. They have the best CNAs. And nurses. Social services helped with a worry free discharge.Therapy was very professional. Concierge Ms. Danita was extremely helpful and kind. Every was professional. I had a Dream team.

This is the second time my mother has a been patient in this facility. Unfortunately, it appears this place has gotten worse over the years. I wish I'd read the reviews before chosing this facility. My family and I are forced to visit everyday to ensure she receives proper treatment. I'm visiting today because she was left for several hours in a soiled diaper, after two nursing assistants were made aware. The Nurses Manager, BC, was very helpful, but she is only one person. We entrust our loved ones to these facilities for assistance...to help make life easier, not harder. I hope these reviews will help the next person make a better choice because the Villa of South Holland is not it.

It's a horrible nursing home. My mother was there, but we quickly removed her as they neglected her and did things against her and the families wishes, which put her in harms way. I don't think they're assisted living place is any better from news reports. Please Google.

I heard bad things about villa, but when they called me in for a interview I excepted it. I get all the way there early to fill out the application, and I am told they have to reschedule my interview because state popped up yesterday. That gave her enough time to give me a courtesy call. I can only imagine how they treat thier staff and residents . I would not want to work there since they are unprofessional and selfish.

My fiancé’s grandmother has been here for the past several months and has not received any rehabilitation. The staff is hard to reach and unwilling to do what is necessary for the patients health. We needed an oxygen tank when we were ten minutes from the facility and not one employee was willing to bring it to her so we had no choice but to take her to a nearby hospital via ambulance to get her the oxygen she needed to survive. When I try to reach our grandmothers nurse the phone rings for over 30 minutes with no answer. I do not recommend anyone to come here.

My mom and I went to visit my uncle and has a very pleasant time. I spoke with his nurse who was very accommodating. She answered all my mom’s questions and took time out of her schedule to talk to us. The staff was very pleasant.

The staff is very considerate of the needs of my mother . I appreciate them taking out time to explain services provided. It has been difficult for me to adjust to the changes in her health. I was comforted by the high quality of care from nurses, physical therapist, doctors, social worker and admission’s staff. They truly serve as a team!

I was searching for a good nursing facility for my mother. My mother's Homemaker recommended Elevate Care South Holland. Her recommendation came from having her Auntie stay here at this facility. I went to several facilities including Elevate Care. Alexis the Administration Director was vibrant, friendly and professional. She showed me the facility and advised on the care they can provide for my mother. So, out 3 facilities I toured, I chose Elevate Care South Holland. My mother was admitted last Saturday and it's been a wonderful experience. From the Administration personnel to the medical staff. They are professional, friendly and personable. I feel very confident that my mother is in good care here!!!

This is beautiful online but when I arrived by ambulance, it is the most disgusting health care facility I have ever seen. Bathroom still had previous patient urine bottle and not cleaned. Shower was full of storage. The room they put me in was filthy. I took 13 pictures to show the state of disease control just how nasty it was. Staff was rude and had no initiative to help the patient. I immediately discharged myself due to the conditions of this poop hole. Don't ever put someone you love in this facility. My actual room was no bigger than a walk-in closet!!! Now I have nowhere to go.

My brother is in the property and he can be very difficult and rude at times. Even without illness and disability. I appreciate the patience and politeness of the nursing staff. So far our family and he have no complaints. Thank you for your attention and assistance.

The entire staff at the Villa at South Holland, especially, Danita and Tiffany, have been wonderful with my dad. It's already a stressful time with a loved one in a nursing home but my mind is at ease knowing that my loved one is well taken care of by the entire staff!!!

This place is terrible the staff is very rude. Dont put your loved ones here they staff doesnt do a good job of taking care of the patients. A nurse told me they are going to put out a sign on the door saying no longer taking Medicare medicaid patients. The place always smells like urine don't bring your loves here. This is just me being nice. Definitely reporting this place staff needs to work on their attitude and how they treat people.

The facility as a whole was ok. Definitely needs updating (at least the second floor). My mom stayed in 2 rooms and both needed updating several things broken etc. Turns out she was supposed to be on the 1st floor. Staff was pretty good some stand out people were: Kia (omg she was a lifesaver she helped me with just about EVERYTHING including things that weren't in her job description! I so appreciate her! Althesha she was a huge help scheduling transportation even the day she was discharged. Mom loved Mena her PT Guy and her OT (sorry i can't remember her name) Denise was very caring and helpful! And lastly Perry was helpful. Now Cynthia (nurse on 2nd floor ughh very rude and any time I asked a question after standing in front of her WAITING SEVERAL MINUTES for her to even acknowledge me then basically waving me off! I don't ever want interaction with her.

My grandfather was at Villa for a couple of months recovering from leg wounds. The care he received there was amazing. The staff was so friendly and welcoming to not only my grandfather but to me as well whenever I was visiting. There was a young CNA male that took care of him when I would visit Friday nights and he was so kind. Always saying hello and making sure grandpa had his extra milk at dinner. The most amazing person by far was his case worker Kia. She is the most amazing person I have ever had to deal with in this situation. She called me with updates on my grandpa and was a tremendous help even after his discharge. My grandpa was struggling at home and all | had to do was call Kia and she made sure we had everything we needed to care for him properly. In my grandpas finals days he needed to go to the hospital but refused. Kia was able to get a nurse practitioner to his house for an evaluation and he was taken to the hospital. He passed just a couple of weeks later but the impact Kia had on him, my family, and myself will never be forgotten. She is truly an angel walking amongst us and we are forever grateful for her and the staffs compassion!

Management needs improvement. Three phone shouldn't ring more than 30 times with no answer. At least a recording should answer and someone should return a call. The video visit happens 50 percent of the time.

I have no complaints about the staff that take care of my mom.The social worker, Nurses and CNA all have been great to me and mom. On the other hand the food is horrible and should not be fed to no human being.I have to bring my mom dinner because the food is unhealthy, not edible and cold. The cook in the kitchen need to be replaced. Please do something about the food that you serve sick patients. My mom has heart failure and she can’t eat the food that you are serving.

I must say the hits and misses are so consequential that it left me smh.I was a patient there for almost 2 months, and I must say most of the employees were very nice to me. Special shout out to the majority of the CNA staff, especially Arie,Tina, Eve, G, and LaRita. Nurses Lakenya❀️ Shay and Perry. Alexis and other admissions employees. Therapy was good. Now the misses the food awful, l had an infection and due to the fact that there was a mix up in my medication I had to wait 4 days for it and it made spread from my wrist to my arm and shoulder I'm still having weakness in my arm. Also, I developed a blood clot, and the nurse Ruth Ann, who was amazing, ordered a doppler on a Thursday. I did not receive it until Monday after I talked to the doctor. So I am very disappointed from a health perspective. l don't know whom to blame, but this is why I only gave 3 stars.

Very nice facility. We went there for a 100 year birthday party for one of the residents. I was impressed on how clean the facility was as well as how professional the staff were. I really liked the electronic check-in which made it simple and easy. Plenty of parking available and it is overall a very nice facility.

This is the last straw for me today September 5, 2020 the nursing staff is unprofessional and rude that includes the ADON Latise and the nurse that is here now super rude and argumentative they lie about times your medication was given I learn to write the times down they give you medication because it has been a time issue every time or not available they are unsympathetic about your pain and the impact it causes I can’t wait to leave in the morning to check out of here If you ask them anything about your medication or what’s going on with your medication it is a problem the ADON when I called her to explained my condition and situation because I use the wrong word she immediately spoke rude and said I just seen you walking in the hall and you said you were OK I also said did you see me bent over and barely walking so please forgive me for not saying barely because I said I can’t move when I mint it was very painful for me to walk or barely and I always say I am ok for common courtesy and besides that I believe she was speaking with potential customers so I did not want to say how I was feeling and you can see and tell I am not well she is not a mind reader I know that but it is very obvious something is going on with me medically and she obviously knows my history because she knew my name and I never met her and when I called her office to explain my situation she answered yes Ms. Swann my God simply a rude delivery instead of saying Hi or Hello this is Latise or Ms. Latise how can I help you it was yes Ms Swann like I am getting on her nerve beforeI I even say why I am calling these people are college educated it is not what you say it is how you say it and as a patient it is very important to speak as kind as you can because you don’t know what they’re going through and I can personally say when you speak in a negative tone it scares the patient to ask for anything. Also it is so cold in here I was in so much pain I could not move my bones felt broken but the CNA Angieozi was very nice comforting and sympathetic giving me many blankets and checking on me also Denita and the Amission person is just remarkable and compassionate and was right on my complaint and gave me positive tone voicing making me feel they were concern and there for me I can’t leave out the maintenance man great aeven though the heating issue was address unfortunately I can say when you have private owners and it is not yours I believe they have to October 15 to turn the heat on but that needs to be changed and it’s up to the owner to cut the heat on as needed if it gets to cold in here and that can be easily done the thermostat has warm and cold on it and the warm blows cold air right now it is seniors ,elderly and people like me with severe arthritis . I hope the owner reads this and respond especially about their nursing staff and that unprofessional ADON who should knows patient adequate

My stay at the Villa in South Holland was a very welcoming lesson in health, nutrition, and therapy. The staff was very friendly, from the house cleaning crew to the variety of knowledgeable nurses and doctors. Not only was the therapy on point for the physical side of my treatment plan, the occupational moved my healing into new levels of growth. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone, and everyone.

I’ve been meaning write this review for a while. My dad received care at The Villa while under hospice care. He was there from February 2022 until his passing towards the end of March 2022. The level of compassion and care that my dad received was phenomenal. The staff was very attentive, checked in often and answered questions when asked. I need to commend the aides, my dad had the absolute best (thanks GiGi and Gabrielle’s). They took care of my dad as if he was their dad. You couldn’t ask for anything better. I must also thank the administration, Michael, Tiffany, Kia for helping with the transition, paperwork, etc. For those considering a home for a loved one, I can honestly tell you, no facility is perfect. However, the Villa made certain to try and meet our needs to the very best of their ability. I know I’m forgetting some people, but to the entire safe, a very sincere thank you on behalf of myself, my brother and aunt. gratitude.
